youtube.com/watch?v=Iiz2oRqBhIIThat video alone says it all. The girls are, like, seven and ten years old! There they are performing practically stripper moves on a kitchen table. I quote a post that was made on this: [rant]I mean, seriously. With children like this, they're just screaming for pedophiles to come after them. It's upsetting to me how the youth of America have strayed so far. Maybe this is why grades are falling. It's bad enough Bush put out the "No Child Left Behind" act, which is stupid. If a child is failing, then fail them. Don't shove them forward and make them think they can go through when they really can't. People must face the consequences of their actions. And with children like that, I think that if they're failing, they should study more, rather than go on YouTube, post videos of them dancing, and try to do choreographed moves of some striptease. Here are young children who are idolizing the stars of pop culture. The media is brainwashing people to be like celebrities, famous singers, actors/actresses. I mean, invariably, some are psychopaths and/or whores.[/rant] Seriously. If this is the direction our country is spiraling, maybe Jack Thompson should focus more on the more influencial parts of our culture and not some lame crap about video game violence. I'm disgusted by this... hell, I didn't even watch the whole thing. I watched about 30-45 seconds. I ask that you leave your comments and ideas on this.

Well, I'd love to say something, Flame...but you kind of took the words from my mouth. As for the video game violence, that's a load of bull. It's the parents that decide what games their kids play, so it's THIER fault if some game drives their kids into becoming bloodthirsty sociopaths. And of course, that entire concept is idiocy.
Also, there are those that try to sugar coat things for thier kids, try to wrap them up in bubble wrap and hide them from the evils of the world, like scraped knees and bruises. Y'know, absolutely vile things. Things like *le gasp* GRASS STAINS AND SUNBURNS!

You know it is sad to say but the girls of these newer generations have turned out to be a bunch of spoiled little skanks, alot of people in their teens do a lot of things that make them lose face and this is a really good example of just how bad things have gotten and affected the younger generations.

You said it yourself, parents have a liscence to raise their kids. You shouldnt go and push blame onto bush and the media right after you say that yourself, Flame. Its very contradictory.
That being said I think our society is a bit too repressive of sexuality. If it sex wasnt hidden away and treated as evil, people would be less drawn to the parts of the media that exploit it.

He didnt push any blame onto Bush and I do agree that no child left behind thing is stupid, and there is no such thing as a parenting liscence subtle, there should be one though

The problem is that nobody teaches these children any work ethics. These children think that the only way to be successful is to come from a rich family, or whore themselves out so they can marry someone rich and then take half the money when the divorce is settled the next year.
I'm more surprised by the fact that people are surprised that this happened than I am by what these girls did. This is a country where the top "role model" (and I use that term loosely) for young girls is Paris Hilton. It will be hilarious once they reach adulthood, though. They'll find out the importance of an education the hard way when they realize they're all too stupid to compete with illegal immigrants who will work for less than a fourth of what these fools will demand to be paid. By then, though, it will already be too late.
For you have all borne witness to the doom of the United States of America. It isn't Al Qaeda, Iran, North Korea, or even China. It's our own stupid, selfish children.

I only mentioned the "No Child Left Behind" being stupid. I'm not blaming Bush. I'm simply saying that with children doing stuff like this, passing that act is stupid. I mean, if our children are failing because they're TRYING and they just can't get it, that's another story. But most of the youth of today don't even TRY!
Teenage pregnancies, divorce, unemployment... the education levels of our schools (espicially public schools). They're all going down. I remember once some parents tried to do away in our shcool with the "honors" and "College Prep" classes, because they felt that it was discriminating against their children.
This country is honestly spiralling downward. I have to slightly disagree with Scar here. The downfall of America is not the children... it's the parents who raise the children like this (or the absence of a parent to raise a child, thus their foundation and influence becomes pop culture).
It is a sad, sad time. Between the children getting sheltered like this, they're going out of control... and then schools ban tag, dodgeball, and other stuff in schools... enforce zero-tolerance... god knows what'll be next. I don't remember if I posted it here or not, but I posted on a few forums this article about how the Three Little Pigs was banned from this middle school, because the teachers felt they were being racist towards muslims.
Or how about the article where legos were banned from a school for capitalism?!
What the hell is next?
... and people wonder where I got the inspiration for Pseixhthor. She IS modeled after me, after all...

Wait.... Three Little Pigs, racist against the Islamic people? I don't exactly see how that works. I'm not Muslim, mind you, but I am familiar with certain aspects of Islam, hell, I've considered converting on the rare occasion, and I don't see the racist qualities.
But you Americans think you got it tough? A little while back, a woman in Ottawa filed a lawsuit against the university because they expelled her two ten year old sons. She filed an age discrimination case.

I have to agree with scarmiglione on this one. But I don't have to wait till adulthood to know what is going to happen to those kids. I've seen two very good examples of what happens to little girls who grow up with the "I'm stupid, slutty, and I want to be famous" way of thinking. As much as it shames me to say this, my sister and my cousin (who is older than my sister) have grow up with the "I'm stupid, slutty, and I want to be famous" way of thinking and well... my cousin has no education and finding it hard to get back into a learning sense while still trying to find a good job and for some reason still trys her best to look like one of those dumb whore. It was bad enough when she wanted to be like Ashley Simpson (That black haired girl who couldn't sing and was found out on SNL). Truthfully if she doesn't marry someone rich she'll either never move out of her parent’s house or just live a very craptastic life style. As for my sister... things are bad. She has a job but isn't in college because she's Fucked up (Translation: Too many "F’s”). She has a crappy car and constantly bitches about it even though she doesn’t take care of it at all except for the occasional slave (Super Whipped Boyfriend) of hers washing it. If my parents were to kick her out of the house, she’d turn out to be a statistic. Not to mention she probably still owes money to either my parents or the bank. Not to long ago she owed some $2,000 to the bank. Oh ya, and she thinks she is going to get famous for being a model even though, as it stands and I’m sorry for using this person as an example, our very own LotusBlackfire is doing a better job at being a model than my sister, even though he only cosplays (to my knowledge anyway).
Now then, ways to fix this, lets see… would could start by seriously punishing Paris Hilton for her DUI and driving without a license. Actually show that rich people (She shouldn’t even be considered famous in my opinion.) are not above the law. How about teaching our kids the lesson of shame? It’s worked elsewhere. How about teaching them that looks mean nothing without an education? That one could work in many ways. How about parents not handing their kids everything they want without earning it (This one is more for rich kids than everyone).
Well that’s what I think.

I couldn't stand 15 seconds of that... far too slutty... But mainly I got to agree with Flame on this...
*Starts to make a comment on the last part of EJP's post, and then shuts up, as just I got almost $60 worth of stuff, by just placing it in the basket, because my parents don't care if I do most of the time*

Well, as much as I'd like some sense to be pounded into those sort of celebrities' heads, like EJP, I'm afraid to say that that will only give them even more fame and attention. The more the media mentions them and their whacked out lives, the more money and admirers they get. Just take a look at people. THey will admire someone to the end, even if they go out and do something like.... oh, who was that guy that did the anti-Jewish rant.....

I wish I didn't lose it, but there's this YouTube video making fun of this one girl, who called 911, because the McDonalds gave her the wrong order.

I've heard a few of those in audio only. How stupid do you get. Just walk up to the counter and explain the problem. If you went through the drive through, pick the stuff you didn't want off and tough it out. If it was totally wrong, then by all means, go back and tell 'em, get yourself a free replacement and pat yourself on the back, you've just wasted ten minutes of everyone else's time.
If I remember correctly, this woman started ripping at the operator too, didn't she?

Yeah. The operator lady was like, "Um, I'm sorry, but this doesn't belong in 9-1-1."
And the lady was, like, "They got my order wrong! I'm not leaving until the police get here!" or something like that. It was funny in a sad way...

The downfall of America is not the children... it's the parents who raise the children like this (or the absence of a parent to raise a child, thus their foundation and influence becomes pop culture). Actually, when I say downfall, I mean the final force which will bring the country to its ruin. That final force is the stupidity of these children. I agree with you, though, that the root cause is idiotic parenting and a ridiculous media which promotes being a whore or a tool to get ahead, as opposed to hard work and intellectualism. It truly is a sad time. EJP, it really would be nice if that were to happen. I just wish our society could truly see itself for what it is and make those changes, because I know they won't happen as things currently stand.
