Timeline: Medieval setting. But the charcater scope is fairly flexible.
Power Level: Up to High-Tier Medium
I plan this to be a Final Fantasy RP based on the game Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. For those unfamiliar with the story, there's no need to fret. Minimal story knowledge is required. I will elaborate the story for the RP.
Our characters, among several others, will wake up one morning to find themselves caught in a world of magic known as Ivalice. For a few people, this may be very normal. However, there are a few people convinced that this world is not real, only a dream, and are trying to seek out who changed the world in an attempt to stop them. In order for them to do so, they need to seek out five different gaurdians, and will also have to confront whoever it was that changed the world into it's current state. Your character's choices, help them return reality back to it's normal course, oppose them, or see what kind of situations you can work yourself into on this new world.

So is this prior to the events that happened to Cassandra and all of them? Or are they returning?

They will be returning. This would be after those events.

Hey, GB... do you think that my character, Skye, would work for this RP?

Alright, I've waited long enough for more interest. Flame, you're free to enter with Skye, should be fun to RP with her.
Anyways, please make your opening posts with your characters waking up in Ivalice. In other words, your characters are waking up from a nice sleep (or rousing from unconciousness, whichever) to find themselves not where they fell asleep/got knocked out/passed out/etc. Specifically, a medieval world with magic and monsters. I'll be making my opening post later.

Lucas groaned as he felt the warmth of sunlight all around him. Well, except under him. There were most definitely rocks there. He started to get up, but something sharp was placed against the back of his neck. He couldn't see much besides boots, but he could tell he was surrounded. "Alright, don't get up, got the message."
He glanced over, though, and saw a familiar face. Cassandra was right beside him, still asleep, but in full armor. He couldn't look at himself without getting up, but he could feel the weight of his armor on him, as well. What was going on?

Suddenly, Cassandra started to yawn slightly, reflexively turning to her side, and shifting her weight onto one of her hands. From her higher position, she still couldn’t see much, as her sight was blurry from just waking up. She did recognize her friend, though. “Oh, uh... Hi Lucas. Um... Please tell me these are friends of yours.
At this point, a pike was brought to Cassandra’s neck as well, and both teenagers were forced up and into a sitting position.
“I guess not... So... There has to be something to break the ice here... um... nice armour Lucas.” Cassandra said uneasily. Again, the pike was placed against her neck, the insinuation that talking could earn injuries clear.
Cassandra, now noticing that she was awake and not dreaming, reflexively reached for her gil pouch, yanked it off her person and emptied it on the ground. She then gestured at the money. “That’s all I got.” She said.
"Oh, that's not all you've got," the bandit answered.
Lucas glanced past them and spotted a cage on wheels attached to a buggy. "Cassandra, they're slavers!"
Cassandra sighed, looking down at the ground. "Lucas... If I catch you staring at me when these thugs are trying to take advantage of me, I'll throttle you."
"You?" the bandit asked, pulling the hood back to reveal viera ears. "What would we want with you, little girl?"
Cassandra looked at the viera, letting out an evident sigh of relief. However, she then looked over at Lucas, and then looked away from everyone else. "EEWWWW!"
"Quick," another viera noted, "if childish."
Cassandra made a small gulp. "Sorry, I... just visualized him in one of the outfits I was imagining I would have to wear.
A rustle of quiet laughter ran through the group, but the leader put her stiletto heel against Cassandra's chest and pushed her back down. "Oh, as fine a specimen as he is, he'll be worth far more untampered, aside from a bit of ... reprogramming from our mages."
"Uh, don't get me wrong," Lucas spoke up, "that's like five kinds of hot, but I'd really rather keep my programming the way it is, thanks."
Cassandra looked at Lucas, then at the shoe, then at the leader, then Lucas, then the shoe, and so on. Finally, she looked up at the leader. "How much do you want for him?"
"What???" Lucas demanded. "Hey, I was just being honest, Cassandra! You know I'm not just some random pervert like that nutjob that's always following you around.'
Cassandra looked over at Lucas, winking and attempting to motion behind him with her tongue, cleverly disguised as a popular form of insult. "As the current owner of the specimen in question," she said, looking back up at the leader. "I'd like to know what kind of gil he would fetch."
The woman scoffed. "So naive. Honey, it doesn't matter what you could get out of him. He's ours. Don't you get it? You don't get a say in the matter."
"I just want to know what sort of opportunity I've missed out on." Cassandra said. "Though, I'll admit right now, he didn't seem like he was worth very much."
"Tell you what," the viera offered. "Go to the auction and try to buy him back and find out for yourself." So saying, she motioned, and several of the bandits moved to haul Lucas up.
"Well, I can't exactly do that unless you give me directions, now can I?" Cassandra said.
But the viera just gave a knowing smirk. "If he was really your slave, you'd know."
Cassandra frowned. "My dad got him for me..." She whined. "Never said where to go if I wanted another, got killed in a nasty Clan war.”
"Well, then, I guess you're just out of luck, aren't you?" she asked. "Load him up," she ordered. "And somebody kill the whiney little brat."
Cassandra frowned, shaking her head like a child scolding an adult. "You don't wanna kill me."
They were already moving in to impale her from several different angles. It would seem the time for stalling was gone.
Then it came. A powerful Air Render Strike came from one end, while a whip of fire struck out from another, striking at Cassandra's attackers.
The surprise attacks cut them down quickly while others gave warning shouts and they circled around to face the attack.
Lucas used the advantage to break loose of those holding him and finally draw two large swords. He tossed one toward Cassandra, knowing she would know how to use it, since she used similar-sized weapons.
Cassandra, taking the time to brush the dirt off her clothing as she got up, didn't exactly notice the sword, that is, until it landed on her foot. She then glared at Lucas, but nonetheless took the weapon and bashed one of the slavers on the back of the head.
A Bangaa in light armour gripping a staff firmly with one hand walked up to the ring of attackers. "Please, I do not wish to harm anyone here today, but if you do not release the girl and her friend, my associates and I will be forced to deal with you with extreme prejudice." He said calmly, his eyes not leaving the bandits.
The leader scowled at the bangaa. "My girls outnumber even your reinforcements two to one. Do you really think you can beat us?"
The Bangaa frowned, leaning to the side and speaking to someone on the other side of the attackers. "Amelia, darling, do you have those two summonings ready?"
A viera in bright robes jumped up at bit to look at the bangaa. "Yes I do, Honey! Do you want me to use them now, or should I charge up first?"
The leader's eyes narrowed. "Kill them all!" she roared. "And start with that crossbreeding cleric!"
Before they could act, Lucas raised his sword high. "I'll have to delay that order! SAINT CROSS!" He slammed his sword blade first into the ground as a wave of holy energy surged out from him into the circle of viera that had gathered in reaction, striking them all from behind as they had been expecting strikes from the reinforcements.
The bangaa brought his staff back and then lashed out at the leader with a harsh swing, moving to knock her to the ground.
After turning in surprise at Lucas' cry, the bangaa's blow caught her across the back of the head and knocked her out cold.
Lucas looked over the mess of unconscious viera as he sheathed the large sword he still held. "Wow, that was lame ..." He grinned and elbowed Cassandra, making a joke out of the crowd, only the two of them were likely to get. "Must've been low levels."
Cassandra giggled a bit, leaning close to Lucas. "What'd you expect from a tutorial/refresher level?"
Meanwhile, the Bangaa had kneeled next to the leader, staring down at her and then glancing up at the sky. He clasped his hands together and started to whisper. "Please, forgive me for striking a woman out of anger."
Lucas grinned at Cassandra's joke, not hearing the bangaa due to the whisper. "So, do I get my sword back or what?" he asked, his grin still on his face.
Cassandra looked at Lucas, jokingly scratching her head. "I dunno, even though I like mine more in terms of design, and though I'm more used to it, AND despite the fact that mine was specially designed for me, I think I want to keep this one." She said, handing the sword to Lucas."
He laughed as he accepted it and returned it to his sheath, across the other, identical one. "So, these friends of yours, or did we just get lucky and find some friendly passers-by?"
Cassandra smiled, "Oh! You never met my clan. That..." Cassandra said as she pointed to the Bangaa, "is Shark B'Gexart, healing and physical combat. The viera is his wife, Amelia, general magic and support."
The bangaa kept talking. "It's just, I love my wife very much... and, that woman just sounded so damn much like my mother! Sorry."
"Wife?" It was unclear if Lucas eyebrow was raised at that or the words of the praying bangaa.
Cassandra nodded. "Yeah, I found it odd at first too."
The knight kneeled down next to one of the viera, checking her for clan tags. "So that's it, then. We're back in Ivalice. Some welcome. We must be in the Jagds. I didn't see any judge show up."
Cassandra suddenly broke into a huge grin. "The Jagds? I love the Jagds! They look so nice!" She looked at Amelia. "Are we in, like, THE Jagd?"
Amelia raised an eyebrow. "The... building you're looking for is... in this Jagd, yes, but..."
"Oh, Lucas! We're right by my clan headquarters! C'mon! I'll show you!" Cassandra said excitedly.
Lucas blinked. "Your headquarters is in a Jagd? Don't you think we should wait and see what Amelia was going to say? I don't think she said but for no reason."
"Cassandra, about the clan..." Amelia started...
"It's right over there, right?" Cassandra said. "I can't wait to see Urnab and Telo again! I bet Farrah won't be there, though... That sucks."
"Farrah's there, but..." Amelia tried to talk again, but was interrupted.
"What? She's here? That's great!" Cassandra got even more excited now, practically bordering on an emotional burnout.
Lucas sighed and grabbed the young woman from behind so he could clamp his hand over her mouth. "Say it quick, Amelia. I imagine I have five seconds before a meteor hits me."
"Cassandra, there is no clan anymore!" Amelia said quickly, but she must've said it clearly, becuase Cassandra stopped talking and paused. Giving a muffled "what?"
Lucas removed his hand and repeated what she just said. "What?"
"Well, after both you and Farrah left, we only had four members. Not exactly a good thing for any clan." Shark said, getting up. "Soon, we began to separate, Urnab retired, opening a monster ranch and a bed and breakfast, Amelia and I went back into the healing business, and from what I remember, Telo ran off with some overly energetic young woman named "Tilly". Clan Masfem has been disbanded."
Cassandra frowned sadly. "Then, what are you guys doing here? If the Clan's gone, why are you at the headquarters?"
"We converted HQ into a house." Amelia said. "We figured that we'd never be able to find our place in the Dunes anymore, so we decided to move here. There are a lot of people in the Jagds that can use our help."
"Guess you were their glue, Cass," Lucas commented finally. "Who's Telo and Twilly?"
"Telo was a moogle bounty hunter that once tried to take advantage of me and turn me over to the authorities." Cassandra said. "I don't have a damn clue who this Tilly person is."
Lucas nodded in understanding. "Well, I guess, clan or no clan, we should figure out what's going on and why we're here again."
Amelia nodded. "Come with us to our house, we'll explain what's been happening." Amelia said, Shark had already started walking away, gesturing Lucas to come along.
However, Cassandra merely stood where she was, kicking a stone on the ground. "I'm not going back to HQ, no point. Too many dead memories." She pouted.
Amelia looked back at Cassandra. "Cassandra, please?"
Lucas had started off, but stopped. "Memories are only dead when you let them die," he answered sternly, refusing to treat her like a little girl. "It's not like everybody died. They just moved on with their lives. Not unlike you did. You chose to go back home, just like all the rest of us. Did you expect them to just sit around and do nothing?"
Cassandra shook her head. "It's just..."
Amelia smiled. "I know... you want to know what happened to..."
Cassandra suddenly put a hand over Amelia's mouth. "Well, Lucas is right, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
Lucas nodded and made his way behind the bangaa.

Skye woke up, on a bed... wait, a bed? For a moment, she thought she fell asleep on the floor from exhaustion. She sat up and looked around. It wasn't a bed. It was like a sheet thrown over a bale of hay. She blinked once. She blinked again. This wasn't the place she was used to. This wasn't home. She blinked one more time. She went to the window and looked outside. She blinked yet again at the sight that beheld her. This wasn't her home... hell, this wasn't even anywhere in her hometown, or any of the surrounding towns.
... had she been kidnapped? Where was her kidnapper? She looked frantically around the room for a door. She called out, "Celara? Olsin?", only half expecting her siblings to respond.
Finding a door, she walked out of the room. The smell and sight that greeted her nearly knocked her out. It smelled strongly of manure, a few cows and horses in stalls all around her. She ran around, looking for an exit. The only thing on her mind was "where is my home?"
She burst out of the barn into the sunlight, and called out, "Is there anyone out there?!"

*Jagd HQ*
Soon, they were at the only building in the area that wasn't abandoned and in ruins. In fact, compared to it's surroundings, it almost looked like a mansion in the middle of the suburbs. But, it was merely a simple looking house, with a warm and inviting feel to it. Shark made his way to the door, gave a sharp knock on it, and waited for a reply.
"Um... who is it?" A shy female voice had answered.
Amelia had sudenly grabbed Cassandra's mouth for no clear reason. "It's Amelia and Shark, could we please come into our house now?" She looked down at Cassandra and whispered something in her ear. The girl gave a reluctant nod and squirmed out of the viera's grasp. She walked over to Lucas and motioned him to come with her.

"I'd suggest you calm down a bit." A voice called. A young man wearing green camoflauge and light medieval armour walked up behind Skye. "I'm still not sure if you have any injuries."

Cassandra kept walking for a while until she reached the edges of the Jagd, which wasn't very far from the house. She sat down on a nearby rock with a frustrated huff and folded her arms. "We're supposed to wait until Amelia can explain everything that's happened to Farrah." She said grumpily.

*Barn* Skye turned around, took a deep breath, and smiled. She said, "You're right. I didn't mean to panic. It's just, I fell asleep on the floor of my house, quite tired... and when I wake up, I'm in the barn in the middle of a place I don't know. If I was kidnapped, I wasn't bound and left to be free. I can't help but feel suspicious or that I'm losing my mind for a bizarre reason."

Lucas shrugged idly as he perched on the rock beside her, pulling out one of the swords as he turned it over in the light. Just as he remembered it. "I suppose it's for the best. I don't know about your friends, but mine I made the last time I was here tolerated my claims enough and were nice enough about it, but it took them a while to believe I wasn't just crazy."

The young man nodded. "I know, this isn't where you're supposed to be. It's the same for myself." He said calmly, looking up at the sky. "But, I think I know where we are. Stick with me, and I'll make sure you don't do anything stupid. I'll try to explain what's going on, too. This has happened before."
*Jagd HQ*
Cassandra sighed and looked to the ground. "Farrah came here under the same circumstances as us. A sort of... backlash, or side effect of this world being created and us being dragged in here. I suppose you could say she was brought her from her world as compensation, or at least, that's what the two of us theorized. So, I'm pretty sure that she'd believe that that has happened again." Cassandra shook her head. "This is so damn complicated. Why would Amelia not want Farrah and I to not see each other?"
