*Upstairs*
'Set my body free.' The statue's mouth spread wide in a cement grin, the spider still dangling from it, reaching. 'Lift your hand for me, and I will unlock every door for you.'
*West*
Vivi's efforts did aid. Aspectus hauled at his feet, shooting, blasting the floorboards, but they only healed back. Then the ice reached them, and they froze up, lost their regeneration as he shot them away, bare concrete beneath them. Of course, that would have its own dangers.

*Upstairs*
The Shadow Ranger looked down at the reaching spider, then held his gauntleted hand up to it.

Vic flexes and holds his hands up, covering them with orbs of the glowing red energy, his legs planted apart as he moves to grasp the blades of the chain saws with either hand, the energy protecting him from being wounded by their constant spinning motion. When ( If) He grabs the twin blades he leans forward and headbutts the woman, right in the disgusting mutant face

*Upstairs*
The spider caught on, crept onto a finger and up the Shadow Ranger's hand, arm, rested on his shoulder. 'You wish to meet The Husband? Through this door. Through.'
*West*
The energy held true just long enough for Vic to headbutt a face of wood and wires and ants, ants that scattered all over his helmet, fell down onto his suit, and then the roaring machines broke through.

*Upstairs*
Following her directions, the Shadow Ranger went back out into the hallway.

Only it wasn't the hallway now.
Now he was in the sitting room with Riot and Mark and the others, had apparently come through the wall behind him.
A woman of floorboards and wire was trying to chainsaw Vic, floorboards reaching up to trap legs. Vivi was freezing these, Aspectus was blasting them away. The android girl was nowhere to be seen.
The chairs had started acting up again, as well, twisting and firing out jagged boards through the material. The psychic had apparently already become acquainted with at least one of these, judging by the bloody gouge on his face.
'The Husband.' The spider thought, directing Jeff's attention toward the inhuman.

*Sitting Room*
The Shadow Ranger followed the Spider's gesture and went up behind the wire demon, and for lack of a better idea, reached up to tap her on the shoulder. "Excuse me. I'm looking for transporters that don't have red lights."

Vic groans and jumps back as he feels the chainsaws tear through his energy feilds. He flexes his arms and the fields surrounding his fists detonate, knocking the chainsaws away from him, giving him just enough time to jump back and recover.
As soon as the ants begin to crawl into his suit Vic's scarf starts acting erratically, going from a placid piece of cloth to a snake of energy, slithering around his neck and torso, the tip lashing foreword like the stinger of a scorpion, lighting fast movements and energy slithers knocking away and stabbing the ants until Vic's body was clean. Though the attacks of the scarf don't seem to damage the sentai, its erratic movements around his head do obscure his vision, so the sentai temporarily retreats behind the rest of the group... and manages to slip on the ice, falling on his face.

Mark had taken a back seat to the action, he had tried to look for an exit, but it looked like that they were completely stuck, he wanted to take out his UMP and open fire, but everyone was insisting on getting in the way. Instead, he focused on taking a tactical position, though it was at the very least, challenging, getting around the floor boards and psycho chairs, as well as staying off the ice. The place was either posessed spiritually, or it was being manipulated through energy or other similar means. He was correctly prepared for a spiritual encouner, but he did cary with him at least one vial of holy water, and a single clip of Hallowed bullets. He didnt want to use the water just yet. Quickly he changed the bullet ammo of the USP Expert to the hallowed bullets, and began firing 3 of the 12 round clip into the hole, seeing if there is any noticeable reaction.

(Kainus: The 'hole' being the black void where the entrance ought to have been, right?)
The woman lunged for Vic as he fell, chainsaws high, ready to plummet down-
Then Jeff intervened. She whirled on him, arms roaring, and stared with crawling black eyes. The demon seemed to give him a disgruntled once-over, judging by a vague nod and shifts in the mass of ants, like the Shadow Ranger had interrupted something important. Then she pointed with one arm, into the gaping hole of the room True had fallen into.
"First, to the iron fires." She grated with a voice that brutally assaulted one's ears, made up of hissing vermin and snapping wires and grinding gears and probably chainsaws. "Second, to the old water."
That said, she spun her back to him. For second, he didn't exist to her, but with a change of heart she spun back around, shoved an arm forward to impale Jeff.
"Stonespeak!"

But while he was empty-handed the first time, when she spun back around, she was faced with that automatic blaster. And with a face as cold and motionless as the mask that covered it, he opened fire on her at point-blank range.

Her head, that squirming wad of wood, wire, dirt, and so many ants, exploded. Blown apart by the blaster fire, pieces flew randomly, yet seemed to fall where they belonged. Floorboards clicked back into place, dust settled back to nowhere, and the ants...
Apparently the ants didn't belong anywhere in particular, a few chancing to scatter onto Vic, onto Mark, most charred and dead. Somehow a good chunk landed on Vivi, largely alive and squirming. The 'Husband' probably aimed for her.
Then, antlessly, the rest of the body fell and dissipated. But she'd be back, ohh, she'd be back with another vengeance.
(Okay! Go run away now! =D)

The Shadow Ranger calmly twirled the gun a couple times before holstering it as he stepped over what little mess was still there. "Thanks."
Without a word of explanation to the others, he moved over to where she had indicated before finally turning back to the others. "Well, are you babies coming or not? Sounds like we find the boiler, then the well."

Viviette wasn't listening to Jeff, though. She wasn't listening to anyone now, really. The ants which had landed on her, all squirming and crawling and alive, had her screaming out in panic--which was a good thing, in truth, but which was also very high-pitched and loud and generally annoying. The ice she'd set to the floor was retracting slowly back to her, relinquishing its grip on the wood grudgingly, but the floor was damp and cold where it had been, still requiring some caution.
She was patting frantically at her body, trying to get all of the disgusting insects; they fell off her, dying or dead, but it didn't seem nearly enough for her liking, because in the next moment she'd engulfed her hand in ice and begun to violently whack at her body anywhere she could see groups of the things. She winced every time, too, but she was too far gone in disgust and fear to care. By the time the ants had all gone, a mass of black dots on the floor around her, she'd sunk to the floor shivering, whimpering something unintelligible about insects and ugliness.

Mark had learned a trick to use in the case of insect problems in the past. Remaining calm, he quickly fluxed his gravity powers outward, all along his body, causing the ants to literraly be flung off him in a wave like fashion. In just a moment, he was completely ant free. He was about to bolt out of the room when he saw one of the people in the group having a panic attack. If the person was uncooperative and needed to be moved manually and physically, he would have the easiest time doing so. Walking back up to her, he quickly spoke in a calm manner.
"They are all dead, we need to get out of here." He said, semi concerned if someone who was beating themselves with ice was mentally stable enough for the tasks set ahead for them...
