"Just go inside and talk it over" Guadelle said cheerfully "I'm sure you'll figure it out!"

Mekka rolls out of her chair, catching herself and pulling herself into a handstand, "We should choose the leader by a game of chance. Maybe with straws... Or maybe see who has the best accuracy with a gun. Or even... Who's the fastest."

Beta blinked in confusion at the thought. "But ... what would any of that prove about leadership? And if we all have guns, don't we all have targeting protocols? So wouldn't testing our accuracy be kind of pointless?"

Mekka slowly lower herself to a head stand before spring upwards to land on her feet, "To see which one has a more accurate targeting protocol. Though it doesn't have anything to do with leadership, it may hint at who was given more effort into, who might make the best leader, out of us."

"Or it could just mean who was intended to be the long-range marksman," the blonde Edenite timidly pointed out. "Wouldn't it be best to simply examine situations which could determine leadership qualities and see how each of us would respond to it?" Mentally, it also occurred to her that they could simply enter the test ruins, as that was likely what it was for in the first place, but the longer she could put that off, in her mind, the better. She wasn't looking forward to the whole thing melting down while she might still be in it.

"True, but where's the fun? Plus I wouldn't get to break in the laser," Mekka then follows it wish a slight laugh and a comment that is most likely a joke, "And then we'd be able to make a chain of command, walking order, and even... *gasp*... shooting order."

The girl seemed to withdraw a bit at the talk of shooting and such. "I would hope shooting order would be in the order we see someone trying to attack us ... I'd hate to be first in line of being shot at, and being the last one allowed to shoot ..." Judging from her expression, hate might not have been the right word. Terrified might be closer to it.

Mekka laughs, "That part was a joke." Mekka thinks to herself, At least this is wasting time so we don't have to do the test ruins. This girl also seems to be a bit, naive, even for how old we are. Maybe there is something wrong with her programming. That or she got programmed with multiple personalities each with different talents. And this one got stuck with no talents so it seems.

Dredge entered and waited in the back of the room. He got tired of listening to the two women chatter, so he tried to tune them out through Buddhist meditation.

(Buddhist meditation, huh? So how does he know it? Did he go down to Earth and learn it sometime in the five minutes he's been alive?)

[Just a description of the meditation, and it would be programming since he is a swordsman, not a shooter. Would you feel better if I looked up and found a Bushido meditation style? Because Buddhism was very big in China, around the time of the samurai and ronin.]

(It would be better if you didn't know things that your character has had no exposure to. Why in the world would he be programmed for religious meditation, or any sort of meditation? He's a soldier, not a mystic.)

"Listening to you two chatter is very very entertaining" Max suddenly said "But, it seems like we are forgetting our objective so i'll restate it , our job is to finich these ruins, which includes the test ruins we are about to head to right now!" Max stood up and walked towards the door saying "and who needs a chain of command anyway? If any of you are as smart as you should be you should easily be able to govern yourselves, but since you guys can't deccide and seem to be so worried about it I will assume command for now." The door opened and he exited the room into the hall turning to say "And I order you all to follow me!"

Beta gulped as Max gave the order and glanced toward Mekka. "I think we just got in trouble," she said before following.
The elevator they went to led them down and down for a great length of time until it stopped in a simple, but old room. The walls were a dirty grey with the only signs of design from deep-etched carvings in the walls in the shape of red eyes. The room was empty except for the elevator they came in on, and a door was on the far side. Once it was opened, a hallway going left and right would be seen.

Dredge shrugged and waited in the back of the elevator. He had his hand on the hilt of his sword, and the other was flexing as he waited. He smirked slightly as he waited in anticipation.
[He has what appears to be a sword yes? He is a swordsman yes? Swordsman have certain things like meditational practices they do. They do not just merely walk around with a sword and chop at things. There are certain rules, styles, and other strict practices about them. Dredge would be programmed with this because he is a swordsman.]
