Cassandra looked away for a moment. She brought Telo in front of her and looked down at him.
"C'mon, one bullet, one bullet and he's off your back.... c'mon..." He whispered so that only the girl can hear.
"And if you miss?" Cassandra mouthed back, not making a noise.
"You know me! I never miss. C'mon, one bullet."
Cassandra mouthed the word no and looked back. "I'll pass." She said calmly.
Telo stayed quiet, but all the same spoke so that only his companion could hear. "Just so you know, if he pulls a fast one, I'm gonna shoot."

*Cassandra*
The guy grinned. "You know, you look adorable playing with that doll. Sure it's not your own? No shame in a girl enjoying a stuffed animal."
*Jensia and Co.*
Sonra's blush deepened as Vincent's breath gently tickled her ear. "H-how far north are you wanting to go?"
*Theresa*
"That's what I was planning on," Zach answered in annoyance, as if she were stating the obvious, adding as he turned back to her, his right hand up to flag down a cab, "unless you really do want that bone."
*Vic*
Chung gave one of her pretty white smiles that melted most of the men she worked with, even though they knew what it meant - they had just proved themselves a dunce. "Turn the card over, Silver. The pass is on the front."
*Mark*
"I am," she answered as she pulled out of the airport lot. "We have several minutes before we arrive. Do you have anything you want to ask me before then?"

Keith out in the middle of the air walking on the clouds above the ocean separating Japan from the main land of Asia, says out loud to no one in his silvery plates of his dragon form, his wings kept down at his sides as he's using this forms natural ability to walk on clouds and fogs to allow his tired wings to rest, as he started heading to Japan for a relaxing break the day before, "I can't wait to get there." He then lets his forms innate ability to deactivate, to see if he can see Japan yet, seeing Japan not too far off, he uses his wings to get him back up above the clouds and begins traveling on the clouds again towards Japan.

"Sure, why not" Mark said with a shrug, as he thought of a question. He figured she was too serious for curve ball like 'what's two plus two?' or 'why is the sky blue?' and he himself wasnt feeling in a particularly annoying mood, so he kept things serious and to the point, for now anyways. "How long have diggings been going on at the ruins before the party dissapeared?" He asked.

"Only about a month," she answered, "but there wasn't any trouble until Nathanial got into a new level of the ruins last week. He disappeared two days later."

"Did he get warnings of some kind? Threats?" Mark continued to question, things were making less and less sense...

"No, no warnings," Samantha answered. "The natives that were working spotted some of the runes, read them and ran as if they feared for their lives, but Nathanial and the American workers kept digging. Nothing happened until he disappeared."

"That is very... peculiar. I at first believed that perhaps an organization or locales did not like them digging there... but... if they didnt, they would have given warnings, or not have waited as long. To attack suddenly, and randomly does not make sense." Mark said tapping his chin. indeed, it made little sense, was there an outside source to it?

She nodded in agreement. "That's why the locals are so superstitious and why no one in any official capacity wants to do anything with it."

"Yeah, makes sense... could be just be a buncha punks who got their hands on some stolen tech and had some trained circus bears on their side" Mark said throwing in the circus bear part more for humor. "From a scientific standpoint, what do you think?" Mark questione, wondering on her thoughts on the matter still.

"From a scientific point," Samantha answered with a smile saddened by her missing her brother, "I think the circus bears are more likely to be responsible than the Moon Empress."

"I hope it's circus bears... what was that about a moon empress?" Mark questioned, not exactly feeling it's a threat, but cultural backgrounds can help in some aspects...

Samantha waved a dismissive hand. "The runes in the temple I mentioned. They talked about an empress of the moon. Before that, I've only heard of her in an old Japanese romance story, a forerunner of today's novels. She made the Emperor of Japan, who had fallen in love with her, run all of these errands, five of them to be precise, to prove he really loved her, then turned around and went back to her kingdom on the far side of the moon, leaving the poor man pining for her for the rest of his days."
The archaeologist shook her head. "Sure, she was a cold-hearted bitch, but she was hardly a kidnapper. Still, these ruins are older than that story, and they had some sort of threat in them, but it's hard to figure out what. It's possible it was just panic, but each of the natives we spoke with gave a different report of what they read."

Vincent looked at Jensia "Well?" he asked. Jensia looked over at the TV's that were still running the news story that made Jensia want to leave "To where ever that is." He said as he pointed to the TV

Her lips curved into a devious smirk, one that would remind you of the coy fox. “No thanks, if I start craving bones I will just eat you alive and knaw on your bones…” Her voice was low and creepy. She then broke that coy smile and creepy voice and began laughing. “Oh, don’t worry! I don’t eat humans!!! Never have, and I am not about to start!” She giggled and watched as a cab finally pulled up. She waited to see if he was gentlemanly enough to open the door for her.
