*Pseixhthor* She looked at the man and said, "You have a proposition? You have my attention."

*R1* The robot's scans didn't seem to pick up anything but a normal meatbag, but instead of answering his question directly, the swordsman responded to the first part. "Such easy entertainment is often considered a sign of low intellectual or maturity capacity. So tell me ..." He grinned. "Does that mean you're nothing but a stupid child?" *Karen* "Ow, ow, ow!!!" The boy hollered as he was hauled off of the robot by the ear. "Ow, lady! Let go of my ear and I'll tell you, I promise! It really hurts! Just leggo!" *Ixion* "My boss wants me to find somebody, but my search just keeps leading me to the same, very wrong person." The blonde man rubbed his forehead. "He isn't the type that likes to be kept waiting." (Heh, "meatbag" ;D) *R1* "I am most certainly not." R1 said calmly. "What do you want?" *Karen* Karen let go and kept frowning. "There, I've let go, now tell me. If I don't like the answer, you'll wish I hadn't." *Ixion* Ixion nodded. "I can relate. Who are you looking for?" He said with the same to-the-point phrasing.

*Montleous*
The woman grinned impishly. "Well, I'm special!"
*Pseixhthor*
"Not right now," the man answered, shaking his head. "I want to talk to all of you about it together. Is that agreeable to you?"
*R1*
"I want a strong warrior who's interested in killing off a world of flesh-bags, but strong is a key word," the man explained, "and I'm beginning to doubt you're what I'm looking for."
*Karen*
"I'll talk," the boy yelped, jumping back as he cupped his hand protectively over the ear she grabbed. "Just don't grab my ear again! I just popped in! I was told to give some old lady a message, but when I got here, I saw that awesome robot. It just looked so cool. I didn't break anything, honest!"
*Ixion*
"I was sent to look for a specific demon," the blonde man answered. "My boss wants to hire him for something. Problem is, my search keeps leading me back to some wimped-out, brainwashed has-been that fancies himself some sort of modern paladin."

*Montleous*
The woman leaned the last inch so that their noses touched. "Care to find out just how special, or should I skip right to the message?"

(Upon your request, I am here, and upon your request, I have brought along company)
"Hmmm Hmmm Hm Hmm Hmmmmmm Hmm" A quiet humming disturbed a particularly barren landscape. Under the beating rays of a large sun, strolled a man of mysterious origins. A black cloack covered his form, as long blong hair tied into a pony tain layed against his back. The man's skin a pale white, as he traveled with a long redwood staff, with blades on each end, that he used as a walking stick. The man though well clothed, did not drop a bead of sweat, unknown magics, protected him from the deathly conditions of the barren desert. He seemed to be just wandering, as if looking for something, however, his calm and patient demeanor, seemed to say that he had not a care in the world.... but that was far from the truth...

*Desert*
Ahead, on the next dune, a shadowy figure seemed to be walking, though the detail was still too far to make out much.

Montleous smiles, "You show me how special you are, and I'll show how special I am."

*R1*
R1 glared at the man. "I question the analytical abilities you used to make that evaluation." He said. He was greatly offended by the man's comment, but all the same intrigued, so he put on a poker face and went along with it.
*Karen*
Karen frowned. "Really? Well, there's no old ladies here. And don't worry about the robot, I doubt you could break him easily."
*Ixion*
Ixion was drinking when the man talked, but did a spittake and sent his drink all over the counter in front of him when he heard the "wrong man"'s description. "This..." Ixion coughed on his drink before continuing. "This demon, what was his name?"

"Hmmm, uncommon for a loner to be out this far in such deathly territory... unless they know something." The mage said as he focused his eyes on the aproacher. He didnt counter his circumstance as part of the uncommon though, but he was prepared for a surprise if the man offered one. If not, well, it need not matter, powerful artifacts surely were in this realm, were they not?

*Montleous*
(Time Lapse!)
The woman stood, wrapping the towel back around her form with a contented smile on her lips. "Not bad. Sure better than a mortal. Now, you ready for that message?"
*R1*
"Well, my employer chose me to find only the best," the swordsman answered confidently. "It's safe to say he considered my analytical skills adequate, and granted, you're just a machine, but if you found something as pathetic as that enjoyable, you're either simple-minded and easily distracted or the victim of destructive one-track programming. Either way, you'd be nothing but a liability."
*Karen*
The boy seemed particularly protective of his ear as he said his next words. "So if there's no old ladies living here, are you the old maid, or something?"
*Ixion*
The blonde man arched a cautious eyebrow at the demon. "Ixion something. Can't remember the last name, but the first is unique enough."
*Mage*
The two lone figures on the sands continued to approach each other, and soon, the mage could make out more of his visitor's appearance. He seemed in many ways similar. He wore billowing robes like that of a mage, and his hair was long and blonde, but it fell freely and unbound. His skin, too, was pale, but it was a smooth, healthy, attractive look, rather than the sickly paleness of one who stayed out of the sun too much.

/Hmmm, this one is perhaps, not native.../ The mage thought to himself. Soon they were in speaking range, and he spoke towards the person.
"Good sir, may I have but a portion of your time to ask a question?" The Mage said in a very polite tone, there was no need for killing, nor making enemies, not yet anyways.

(XD!)
Montleous smiles happily as he wraps a towel around his waist and says, "Yes it was... Might as well here it now."

*Mage*
"Of course," the new figure answered in a similarly polite tone. "I have enough time to spare a moment for a fellow traveler."
*Montleous*
"My employer is requesting that you appear at a meeting he's holding," she answered. "He wants to speak with you and others. He has a proposition."

"Yes, I am a traveller from a distant land, and I'm looking to investigate local lore, would you know of any?" The mage asked simply.
