Montleous nods and asks, "How is your employer, and when and where is the meeting?"

*Mage*
"Oh, I know far more than just local lore," the man answered politely with a large, disarming smile. "I even know why you search for them, Airoar."

"If you know why I search for them, then you will know what lengths I will go, and how much force I will use to get them." Stated in a very calm fashion...

*Airoar*
The man nodded, still smiling that disarming smile, as if the thought didn't bother him. "Yes, I know that, too. So I wanted to offer you an opportunity. You do something for me, I tell you where you can find the Stone of Mordecai. Are you familiar with it?"
*Montleous*
The woman chuckled. "How is my employer? He's fine, I'm sure. The meeting is as soon as the others get there, and where ..." She turned about and instead of a towel, she was wearing a black chouffer's coat and hat with a half-unbuttoned white shirt and a black miniskirt. On her feet were five-inch heels. "I'm your driver, so you don't have to worry about that."

"I am not, though please, do explain." Airoar said, gesturing for him to continue...

Montleous nods, before grabbing his clothes and getting dressed himself, in a white longsleeve button up shirt, grey boxers, and slightly faded blue jeans with a few rough spots and holes, the holes by the looks of them are from small fires. "I'm ready now, but may I ask who is you're employer, or would he prefer to remain unnamed for now?"

*Airoar*
"Mordecai Aurentidius was a powerful sorcerer," the man answered, "rumored to master a form of magic beyond the weave. Upon his death, it is said he poured all of his knowledge and arcane power into a single stone instead of teaching it, and then cast the stone away, to prevent anyone from learning of it. He feared its power in the hands of anyone he didn't trust, and he didn't trust anyone."
*Montleous*
The girl turned to him with a grin. "Ever heard of a man called Kali?"

"Beyond the weave? I did not think such magic could exist beyond what allows it to exist... but I will have to see it for my own eyes I suppose... what is it that you request?" Airoar questioned.

*Airoar*
"Well, first, come to a meeting I'm putting together. I'd like to cover it for everyone at once," the man answered. "Efficient that way."

"And where, will this gathering take place?" Airoar questioned.

*Airoar*
The man motioned to his side as a gate opened. "Through here. I believe in making travel convenient for my guests."

I see... Airoar made a quick motion with his hand, and the magical readings he got, said the portal was generally safe to travel through.
"Alright then, I shall proceed." Airoar said as he began to walk through the portal...

*R1* "Well, my employer chose me to find only the best," the swordsman answered confidently. "It's safe to say he considered my analytical skills adequate, and granted, you're just a machine, but if you found something as pathetic as that enjoyable, you're either simple-minded and easily distracted or the victim of destructive one-track programming. Either way, you'd be nothing but a liability." *Karen* The boy seemed particularly protective of his ear as he said his next words. "So if there's no old ladies living here, are you the old maid, or something?" *Ixion* The blonde man arched a cautious eyebrow at the demon. "Ixion something. Can't remember the last name, but the first is unique enough." *R1* "Your master wanted the best, I'm the best there is to offer." R1 growled. " One track programming and all." He added, spitting the term out with distaste. *Karen* Karen turned a deep crimson, forcing the boy's hand down telekenetically and grabbing it again. " SAY THAT AGAIN PUNK! I DARE YOU!" She screamed. *Ixion* Ixion recomposed himself. "This is quite ironic, then. My name is Ixion Caract. I am no wimp, I am not washed out. And I sure as hell am no idiotic paladin." Ixion took a full glass and drank the entire thing. He got up. "Take me to this master of yours."

*R1*
"You'll have to prove it," the swordsman answered. "Kill me."
*Karen*
"OWWW!!!" The boy squealed in pain as she twisted his ear about. "What'd I do? What'd I do???"
*Ixion*
The blonde man grinned and offered his hand. "Very well. By the way, the name's Raiden."

*R1*
R1 immediately assessed his enemy. Clearly no ordinary swordsman would have the gall to challenge him like that so easily. Either he was a total fool, or he had something up his sleeve that his scans were unable to pick up. R1 decided to be safe and considered the latter. If he really was only fool enough to challenge him through ego or ignorance, well... nothing wrong with overkill. There was also the problem of assessing what this man is capable of. If he were to assume that the man had something he was hiding, it would be wise not to merely attack full on, but rather test the waters before submerging. There was also the problem of actually killing the man. With the swordsman dead, there would be noone to relay the message back to this man's employer, so it was safe to assume this man had some form of contingency plan. What this was, he didn't know. Therefore, both extreme caution and extreme prejudice would have to be taken on this matter.
After the few fractios of a second used to contemplate this, R1 crouched down, his weapons humming to life. He quickly brought his right arm up and unleashed a salvo of beams from his gun at the man.
*Karen*
Karen let go of the boy's ear. "I. Am. Not. Old." She growled. "You shouldn't ever assume someone is old. And you should never tell a girl she's old. Weren't you ever taught manners?"
*Ixion*
Ixion took the hand and shook it vigourously. "It's a pleasure. Now if you'll just let me get my jacket, we can leave." He said, walking to the door and putting the article on.
