"I am a Paladin in the service of the Morning Lord Lathander, and am a member of the Order of Aster." Veon answered, giving information on the background of his religion and the ordered he followed.

"Uh, sorry, another stupid question, I'm sure," Star said again, "but what does that mean?"

"When I first joined the order, we were to memorize the charter and creed to Lathander..." Veon said clearing his throat, then began to recite the creed.
"Strive always to aid, to foster new hope, new ideas, and new prosperity for all humankind and its allies. Perfect thyself, and guard ever against pride, for it is a sacred duty to foster new growth, nurture growing things, and work for rebirth and renewal. Be fertile in mind and in body. Consider always the consequences of thine actions so that the least effort may bring the greatest and best reward. Wherever you go, sow seeds of plants, tend the growing things you find, and plant seeds of hope, new ideas, and plans for a rosy future in the minds of all. Whenever possible, see each dawn." Veon recited as they walked.

"Wow, that's not what I expected," Star answered thoughtfully. "I expected it to be more like, face evil wherever it raises its foul head and stand for those who have not the legs to do so, or something like that. I like that one better, though. You can't recite it without remembering that your goal isn't destruction of what is evil, but the preservation of what is good."

"There are indeed orders of paladins which perform just as you say, to seek out and destroy evil, and while Lathander despises evil, especially the undead..." Veon said his eyes moving to the vampire for a moment before continuing. "...there are more important things that are in need of our attention. As you said, Lathander is more interested in the preserving and protecting what is good, not seeking out evil. Besides, if I were one such Paladin who sought out naught but the destruction of that which is evil, half the party would be smote, or I be delivered to Lathander in death." Veon said with a smile.

Star smirked and arched an eyebrow as she looked at the others. "Yes, we do have a rather interesting group. My Lord is heavy on forgiveness, though, and leaving judgement to Him, rather than in imperfect mortal hands. We're supposed to stand strong for our beliefs and help others whenever we can, but we don't raise our hands against another unless we have to." She looked away. "Admittedly, the detail I'm probably worst at." She shrugged, though. "In any case, it leads to some very interesting friendships."

"It does, and at the very least, we can all learn something from eachother in the end... some more than others anyways." Veon explained.

"You're both pathetic..." Rena commented, having been listening in on the conversation. The vampiress looked up as the sky grew darker, smirking. "You more than the paladin, pinkie."

"If in the next life, I had the choice between being a weak, pathetic, fool, or being a parasite, I'd be anything other than one who feeds off the strength of others." Veon pointed out calmly, not letting the Vampires attempt at an insult cut him in the slightest.

"I'm no more pathetic than you are, Rena," Star answered calmly. "We both rely on the strength of others, we would both die without it. The difference is that my Sheperd leads me to eternal life. Yours leads to eternal damnation."
She came to a stop and turned to face the vampire. "I've been where you are, Rena. I know what it's like, and believe me, I don't envy you. You speak as if you'll live forever, eternally immortal, but it's all in your head. You may walk for an eternity, but it won't be living. You spend an eternity dying, in one long, endless spiral, stealing life from others because your own will no longer sustain you." The pink girl's eyes weren't angry. They were damp, almost as if she held tears for the woman. "No, Rena, I could never envy you. I'm too busy pitying you."
Without waiting to see whatever response the vampiress might give, Star turned around and walked on into the encroaching night, not waiting for the others.

Rena gave a yawn.
"See what I mean? Pathetic," she commented to the rest of the group. With a quick flip of her hair, she kept walking.
While the rather large village looked as if there had been a battle recently, people were still moving about slowly and going about their daily lives. They didn't even seem to care when a few of them noticed Julis flying overhead. It wasn't long before the winged man would spot an Inn...well...an 'NN' if he were to go by the broken sign.

Julis kept his altitude good and gave the part of the village a good fly by, he then circled back to the group, landing infront of them,"I found a town not to far up ahead, it has an Inn but it appears as though the entire village was in some sort of fight or battle." Julis addressed not one person in particular but the group as a whole.

(Alright rebooting this thing, we are going to skip the Lady Dirgios segment and assume the group was successful in their mission. However, we are not going to restart the main group just yet, until we can get the new participants situated. I'll let you know when it's time to post for the old characters. New participants should not take too long to post, or we will move on.)
The sun was begining to set over the town, shifthing the once blue sky into a pallete of reds, oranges, and purples, most of the shops began to close up for the night, but the inns and taverns remained opened for oncoming patrons. At one end of the town however, sat a peculiar sight, a small gray tent. Hanging over it, was a wooden sign that had the inscribed words of "Fortune Teller" However, despite it's bland appearance, strange energies seemed to flow from it. Powerful ones, mixed of auras of good, evil, and even a strong sense of neutrality seemed to eminate from the tent. The peasents seemed to never notice these energies, however, strangers to the area, may pick up on these signals, and notice something peculiar. The energies were not hostile or indifferent... they were inviting...

Cassandra had sat on a rock near the tent for a while. She was enjoying the tnergies around it intensely, despite the fact that she didn't even know what they were or where they were coming from. All she knew was that they felt good. She hummed to herself softly as she fiddled with her Ribbon, not actually bothering to put it on, merely twirling it in her fingers playfully. It was only in a fit of giddiness that the girl put it on. As soon as the bow was finished, her head cleared somewhat.
She then looked back at the tent, confused at how she was acting. she got up and walked around to the front. Tilting her head to the side in confusion, she proceded to step inside. "Hello?" She called.
(WIll add Andres later, just a bit rushed at the moment.)

The tent's walls were full of many different colors, purples, greens, blues and reds, the atmosphere was very low lit, sa various candles glowed softly near the edges of the tent. Thanks to those same candles, the atmosphere in the room was very warm. A green rug led to the center of the tent, where an table covered in fine silks and linens resided. Behind the small table, a small old woman was sitting shuffling cards. She appeared to be human, but a powerful magic aura surrounded her. Upon closer inspection, she was wearing red and white robes, her most distinguishing feature however, was the blind fold she wore around her eyes. She calmly shuffled, dealt out seven cards, then shuffled them back into the deck, repeating the process. Although she did not look up from her activities, she acknowledged Cassandra.
"Welcome young one." The old woman spoke, in an aged yet smooth voice. "Please, do come in out of the cold." She invited.

Meanwhile...
The cooridors of the abanoned cathedral remained bare, other than the chant of the mindless choir that echoed off the walls, there was no sound. In the main hall, Airoar stood over a table with a map, various magical items and contraptions were strewn across the table. Of the items, were various glowing crystals, these, were his means of keeping tabs on his allies. One of the crystals had faded, representing Electra's failure. He was examining the map, considering one of the fragment's locations, when another crystal faded. He growled under his breath.
"I could have sworn, that those I have recruited would be more than capable of handling the task." To this, a calm voice from the shadows responded.
"Perhaps it is not their compitence that is to blame, after all, you did review their pasts. Perhaps instead, it is that they are being countered by someone." The voice explained, stepping out of the shadows, to reveal a tall figure, covered in a brown cloak hiding his features.
"I am aware of that." Airoar spat, but he regained his demeanor. "Before this outing, nobody has had the power nor wit to combat me or my plans."
"They are not combating you, they are combating those you have made an alliance with. Perhaps you put too much faith in them"
"...perhaps... but they have something I do not, the resources and the means to dig up each of them quickly and efficiently."
"Just goes to show, perhaps a one man army is not the best way to go" The cloaked figure pointed out before approaching the table which Airoar sat in front of. The faceless figure glanced at the map.
"There still is the Iron Golem, and the Demonic Queen, but I notice there are still a couple locations that need to be visited, yet you have nobody to visit these locations." To this, Airoar gave a nod.
"One of the locations, contains a red dragon, I myself would hesitate to confront such a foe, so that will take careful planning and consideration. The other, I indeed have a plan for... however, the ally I need to send to that location... is late..." Airoar muttered aloud, as he continued to examine the map.
