Johnathan took his hat off, blushing deeply and rubbing the back of his head. He stuttered and stammered, not exactly sure how to reply.
Gwen had just seemed to land back on Earth, looking at Johnathan. "When'd he get here?" She asked.

"About five seconds ago," Star answered passively in English as she continued to watch Johnathon, to whom she added, "Since you know how to speak English, and all three of us also know how, it's considered rude to try to speak a language you think we wouldn't know. If it helps, we all have more important things on our minds than you."
This time, she glanced toward Gwen. "Well, those of us that have minds."

(*flashes Hall Pass*)
Since Star and Gwen had met, a lone black speck had been steadily sliding towards them until Johnathan had landed, at which point the knee-high figure had stood up and daintily brushed the ice from its chest as it waddled toward the group. Now, the penguin stood behind Cookie, as if politely waiting for a break in conversation.

A tall girl with long electric blue hair, clad in a pink shirt and light blue jeans with a heavy light leather jacket, walks on the snow, slowly as a small force field surrounds her from about 5 feet away, glowing a faint yellow. Out loud she says to herself, "This place is so cold, and the power of the force field isn't helping that much," she then shivers, and turns, seeing a few specks of a little ways. She then starts heading over that way.

(Can I jump in with Sanzo? I think it'll be interesting to have someone just above childhood in this thing...)

The young boy Ogata Sanzo, shivered, he was beginning to regret ever coming to the Artic, sure saving children was important, but what was more important to him at this moment was saving his warm bloodedness. He shivered a bit as he instinctually stopped the wind flow on the continent, only to immediately start it again because he realized that the fact that there was no wind would be a bit to conspicuous. Has he activated the zoom on his and the X-Ray vision (so he could count how many men where inside a fortress if there was one) and was greeted with a sight that many thirteen year old boys would be envious of...about three naked women. Immediately closing his eyes for feeling a pang of guilt for staring at these women in such a way, Sanzo decided to fly up to them just in case they where possible allies...he had never used his powers in combat before (and combat was almost a certainty here), so it would be comforting to have to possible allies. As he quickly approached the group, he breathed heavily (the cold air constricting his lungs), he soon realized that breathing heavily is not the best first impression and he stopped as he looked at all of them. “Ummm...I hope y’all are here to save the kids to, right?” (Blast from the past, eh Ninmast )

(Several problems. They're not remotely naked, you don't have the power to stop wind all over the entire continent, and if you're dressed like I think you're dressed, you'd be frozen to death long before you ever reached them.)

(I have X-Ray vision, I have nigh-god like control over the wind, and he's dressed like anyone would be at the Artic...many many layers.)

(Alright, I forgot about the x-ray vision, but the Antarctic is far, far too large to exercise such control, particularly when you are a non-omniscient being.)
Star raised an eyebrow at the new figure to arrive. "Yes ... Who are you?"

Gwen didn't seem to notice any of the comments, zoning out again until the penguin came. "Aww! It's a penguin!" She yelled as she went to it and gave it a big hug, seeming to disregard the fact that it is a wild animal.
Johnathan merely continued to stammer and stutter, trying to form something, anything, to change the subject.

<My name->
The penguin seemed shocked at the sudden embrace, automatically assuming it to be an attack in some pathetically ineffective alien martial art.
<... is unimportant, I only wish to ask a few questions, then I shall be on my way. What is the local title given this hellish wasteland?>

Star's gaze went from the scrawny preteen to the penguin as her eyes widened. "A ... telepathic penguin?"

The penguin seemed to take this in stride.
<This creature is known as a 'penguin'? Fascinating. Are there any active volcanoes within a reasonable vicinity of here?>

Cookie looked down at the penguin, amazed at how Gwen seemed to completely ignore the fact that the penguin was speaking, in fact, she seemed to squeeze it more and started to snuggle close to it.
"Uh, no. This is the Antartic.... you've got about as far away from volcanoes as possible." Cookie tried to explain.
Gwen perked up. "Volcano? You know, there's a volcano way over there, underwater." Gwen said, pointing in what seemed to be a random direction. "they can be underwater, did you know that? I did!"
