"My, my, what a foul tongue," a figure said from ahead of them, the Toyman, as they could tell when he got closer. "And you're supposed to be an intelligent life form from another planet." He tsked as he shook his head. "Makes me pity for the future of mankind."

Cookie raised her hand. "Superhero." She said blandly. She looked down at Gwen, who seemed to be upset about the penguin turning into something else. "....I don't even wanna know what she is." When the Toyman showed up, Gwen suddenly got up, frowning.
"What a terrible, terrble man you are! I don't think you have any right to judge someone's language! That was just plain evil, abduting childern! Why don't you pick on someone your own size?" She said, the ditzyness was gone, there was only pure, seething hatred.

"Was it really?" he asked. "Is it not evil to teach children to kill, maim, and destroy? That is what their parents were doing, giving them those violent games and toy weapons to play with. I am freeing them from that, teaching them right, letting them play with real toys, toys that teach, toys that are healthy."

Cookie sighed. "Terrorists, they always think they have the answers." She mumbled to herself. "Listen, I don't know what sort of stuff you've seen, but when I was little, I played with a rag doll and a toy baking set. If I was lucky, my mom would help me and my sister make cokies. No killing, no maiming. Just good, wholesome pastries."
Johnathan nodded. "I was never taught to kill as a child, my mother taught me to love my fellow man. All through my travels, I have tried to teach the childern I've met about equality and multiculturalism. Never have I taught them how to hurt."

Toyman, however, nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, yes! That is how children SHOULD be taught, how they SHOULD play! But have you walked through a toy store recently? Have you looked at all the rubbish, all the violence, all the debauchery?" He took several steps forward as he talked, though taking no aggressive action, just continuing the conversation. "I did when I arrived, and I was shocked! Appalled! No rag dolls lined the shelves, only grotesquely sexually oriented dolls in skimpy outfits and impossible dimensions. Oh, but the boys had toy soldiers, alright. Massive, muscular things armed to the teeth and monstrous freak shows wielding weapons that don't even exist! And the video games! I saw one that the whole purpose was to blow each other up and commit crimes! And the woman acted like they were doing so much by keeping it away from anyone under seven! Grown men shouldn't be playing those games, but so long as you were over seven, it was okay by them!"

A telekinetic barrier shimmered into place behind Toyman and Owen stepped forward.
"Buddy...I didn't have any toys growing up and I did fine...craziness that is my life aside. And seriously...its up to the kids parents to determine what they can play with, not you. And even then...its up to the kid to do what they want with it. As for your comments about the weapons...you'd be surprised. And the video games...just a game. Adults can play 'em if they want...and the employees just do their job...so, don't go throwin' a fit over them. Now..." he said, voice deeper than usual thanks to the armor, his visor scanning over Toyman several times. The psychic raised his left arm and a badge was holographically projected. "By the authority of the Multiversal Balance Police Department, You're under arrest, Toyman! Come along quietly so you can be returned to your proper world!" Owen demanded in his most intimidating voice.

Veritas had been quiet, distracted by the Toyman's initial accusation. If these people considered 'hell' a foul word, it was no wonder they all lived under the delusion that they, in fact, were not in one.
She half raised her hand, disappointed that she'd missed dibs on the arresting. "Ditto." The alien mumbled.

The Toyman hung his head sadly, shaking it. "And for a moment, I actually thought you understood ... Yes, it's the parents' choice, but when they make the wrong choice, something must be done! But I see I won't convince you of that, so I'll just have to show you first hand!"
The walls opened up to either side as mechanical parts folded out, clicking together with parts from the other side as they formed a giant "toy" gun.

At the giant gun's assembly, Veritas blinked self-consciously, thinking there was something she missed as she whispered over her shoulder to whomever might hear.
"I... do not understand. What sort of answer is that?"
