Fight Organizer GB here. I've always liked playing Canon CHaracters, so I figured I'd start one of the best ways to play them. A battle tournament! Here is a compiled list of rules:
1. I've divided the tournament into power level categories. One for each power level. The thread you are looking at right now is for Low Powered characters. Just as a reminder, Low Power Level characters are normal people. Either they have no supernatural powers or the few they have make them on par with normal or exceptional (but still average) people. Captain Picard from Star Trek, Batman, Lex Luthor and Stormtroopers are good examples of low power level characters.
2. This tournament is for canon characters only. A canon character, for those who have a few gaps in their knowledge of the term, are characters that already exist, from books, movies, games, ect.. Please provide a link to some basic info on your character, wikipedia works great for this. Also, please be up to date on your character. For example, Metal Sonic was previously a lower power level, but with the powers he has received in the recent Sonic games, he has boosted in power.
3. The fights of this will be simple, elimination matches using a style from the old EAB that I have.... well, grown attached to. Matches will last 80 "turns". This means that not counting the posts for the basic introduction of characters and a victory post, each fighter gets only 40 posts. In other words, fighter one, on the first attack, must post (1st post, whoever Vs. whoever). The other fighter then posts his retaliation with (2nd post...) and the fight continues like that.
5. Now, the arena. The arena will be chosen at random selection by myself, if it is my fight, one of the judges will select the area. These arenas will be based on any of the characters in the tournament, though not exactly those fighting, like Super Smash Bros. In other words, let's say someone uses HK-47. Taking this character's story, we may have an arena like the Ebon Hawk. Understood?
6. Let's keep it clean gentlemen. Do not use a technique that a character does not have. For example, Mario does not have ESP, so he won't use it. If you can prove that your character has such abilities, that is fine, but I will have done drastic research. I will know what you're capable of, and if I don't, I'll find out.
7. Remember the time limit rule on the RP rules. You have only so long before you forfeit by default. We'll send you a warning when your time is almost up. Please try to make sure you have the time for this befroe joining. If you have a good reason for holding us up for a long time, we'll let it slide, things can happen.
I think that's all. So, to buisness! We'll start with eight combatents. I shall use Andrew Waltfeld, from Gundam SEED.
