Quite so. By far one of the best movies I've seen in a long while.

It was good...my worst problem was, despite it's lengthy 2 1/2 hours, I still felt like the story was a little crammed tight. @_@
Yeah, I thought it needed to be longer...

The tightness of the story was great. It did come at you really fast, but thats because they made every scene matter and kept building you up and showing you amazing action.

I really like this Batman movie. It was a great and very dark movie. This was the best joker performance I've ever seen. Sad that their wont be another joker like this one. Then again they could just use the joker from Batman VS Preditor. Although that performance was short, it was pretty good.

Well there is a reason why it made 15 million on the midnight screenings alone

An excellent movie indeed, however I wouldnt necessarily consider it a hardcore action movie. More like an Action/Suspense/thriller hybrid. This movie seems to have made everyone forget about the other heavy hitter movie earlier in the year, Iron Man, though, it makes one wonder, if the order of release were switched, would comments and thoughts be different?

Stonking great. An excellent performance by Ledger. But one must wonder, how much does his unexpected death play into all the hype? I mean, don't get me wrong, this was Heath's best performance, but I kinda wonder if I'd be saying that if he didn't OD on pills.

You would, without a doubt. That didn't even look like him in the movie, it was great.

I'm sure there are a few people who saw the movie only because Ledger died, but their number is probobly quite small, and ultimately insignificant.
The Dark Knight would still have broken the most important record, the Midnight showing one if say, 5% of the audience was only there because heath died. Every midnight showing in the country sold out, and the majorty of theaters did 3 am and 6 am showings as well and sold out on those too.

Actually subtle i have to disagree with you, alot more people than you think saw the movie because it was heath ledgers last movie, the fact it was a batman movie only made it better to watch
