Apparently while waiting for Zionix to respond, Aeven began mumbling to herself and fidgeting with her hands. To others, it'd probably seem like irritation at some dropping unconscious from the heat already, but overhead, weather patterns gradually began to change. Clouds had begun to roll in, and over the next few minutes, the temperature would begin to drop as cloud cover increased and thickened, then began to rain. The last, however, was still a few minutes out.

Zionix covered her face as the wind hit it and turned her back to it, replacing her glasses on her face. She was about to answer Aeven when the anounment was made about various things. After the announcement and the heat stroked people fell (at which she chuckled) she turned to answer Aeven.
"Umm, you can say I made them, well not the blonde one but yeah, I'm looking after them." She smiled.

Shoka looked back at Aeven as she began to address Zionix about the kids, and caught the wrinkle of the nose. He only smiled back and returned to watching over Kopa and Sam. They listened to the announcement and were glad to be moving up despite the cause. Sam and Kopa were fastly becoming bored and once again hot.

After the announcement and the pandemic of heat stroke, Azariah began to get nervous. Since she couldn't feel heat, she had no way of knowing how close to a heat stroke she was. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her silver lighter, flicking it open and closed repeatedly, controlling the flame to calm herself.
On top of the people around her dropping like flies, she noticed odd changes in the weather. There were a few gusts of wind, and now clouds were rolling in.
Maybe the weather in Death Valley always changes this quickly, she thought.

"Finally A vacation!" Kenneth said, garnering quite a bit of attention from others. Probably because he looked like he had been cut and pasted from the feudal era of Japan into modern Arizona. Despite the fact that he was not wearing short sleeves and a long skirt, did not seem to be affected much by the heat. He was sweating, but he showed no signs that he really cared.
He was too exited to finally have a vacation to care, Grave had given him a whole month off and he was going to enjoy it!
He payed no mind to the announcement, time was no object to him, but did find it rather strange that clouds suddenly rolled in... odd the weather channel should be more accurate.

*As the soon as the rain came, almost eveyone still in line looked up at the sky and smiled. The rain however, only lasted for approximately 10 minutes before it stopped and the clouds left. Rain+already hot as hell conditions= Even worse conditions. Anyone with glasses of any kind would noticed the lenses start to fog up. As time went on, a few more people passed out and were carred away. Half an hour passed and the lines started to pick up a little speed for a brief moment before returning to its slow as hell paste from before. No one from the last set of busses was on the boat, but a few from the last set of busses were now on the gangways. The heat and humitiy returned to as it was before the rain started.*
(Sorry fokes, still waiting on one more person to post before we time skip and get the boat moving finaly. So will someone go kick Subtle for me. I've asked him a few times but he seems to be stalling or just being lazy.)

(I beg your pardon, but Aeven would keep the rain coming as long as necessary with continued castings. Assuming she'd just let it return to the previous condition or worse is rather unfair to us.)

(I'm no expert on weather, but based a personal expence (That DIDN'T take place in death vally I wish to note) when I was mowing the lawn one very hot late morning. It started to rain while I was still mowing and the rain made things even worse, even more so once the rain left. So I assumed that she'd realize this, and stop. But if that doesn't work for you then, someone of higher magical powers made it stop raining so the ship wouldn't fall over. Its in a sand dune after all, and those can shift when its raining. It doesn't really matter that the rain has stopped, I'm going to get things moving as soon as Subtle posts... or if he doesn't post soon and I have time, I'll get things moving.)

(Ah, nice. So in other words, it doesn't matter two licks what the heck we do. You're just going to auto us and cancel it out. Psh, I should've just summoned an ice storm. That would've held your ship in place for you. In any case, Control Weather lets her control the temperature, too, so that would have also dropped and your complaint of uber-ridiculous heat strokes is just that. But whatever. As soon as you get us all on the ship, it won't matter and we can simply pretend you never autoed.)

(Sorry for the long wait, moving on.)
*After another hour of waiting in a slow as hell line, the lines suddenly picked up alot of speed and the rest of the passengers were allowed on board the ship. Each passenger was instructed that as soon as they come aboard that they should report to their rooms and stay there until a message from the loud speaker. Each room that wasn't the higher priced rooms with ballconies or on the same level with the room with ballconies had an almost cookie cutter look to them. If there was going to be 1 or 2 people in the room, their were two small single beds that could be pushed together to make one bigger bed. If the room was to have 3 or 4 people staying in it, it would have atleast one bunk bed and a single bed or two bunk beds. Every room had a TV hung on a wall within sight of the beds, the lights were in the ceiling with only a switch by the door, and a closet with a small safe inside and hanger. Also each room had a desk with a phone, lamp, mirror, chair with a cusion only on the seat and no arm rests, a small trash can next to the desk, and power plugs. Lastly each room had a bathroom in it which has a shower, sink with mirror, crapper, and a strange sign above the crapper saying not to flush "bulky objects" down the craper.*
*When the passengers got to their rooms they would first notice that their lugauge had been dlivered, the bed were made, and their was a fuit basket with bottled water around it sitting on the desk with a note saying to "enjoy your cruise".*
(I know this isn't the big time skip to get things going but thats next after you get to your rooms. This is also the last chance for a intro post for those who have yet to do so.)

Versago grumbled as he hovered back and forth in front of his fruit basket. He was obviously enraged by whatever had hit him, but more so by the smell. He continued to dust the sand off of himself, having stuck to the humid leather.

(Dude, it's a toilet. The rest of the world calls it a toilet. A few call it a throne or the porcelain goddess. The only people who call it a crapper are the unimaginative ferals that just want an excuse to swear and think nobody will call them on it.)
Having lucrative financial resources saved up over the centuries, Aeven had purchased one of the higher-priced rooms. She glanced at the fruit basket as she came in and the bottled water floated to her hand. She removed the lid with one twist and sipped from it before moving over to the bed, slipping her boots and socks off and stretching her toes.
"I hate the surface," she sighed.

Azariah's single room was far from a royal suite, but it was fairly nice and located close to the top deck of the ship.
Once in her room, the first thing she did was freshen up. She splashed cool water on her face to wash off the perspiration, frowning at the dark pink sunburn stretched across her nose. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail before stretching out on her bed to rest her legs.
