Who else is following the series?
I think it is a breath of fresh air in a medium fed up with all its Losts, 24s and Prison Breaks.

... What the heck's wrong with Lost, 24 and Prison Break? They're realistic? They actually require brain matter?
Don't get me wrong, Heroes is cool in the same way the X-Men is cool. In fact, it's pretty much X-Men minus the giant robots, invading aliens and Spiderman crossovers. One might even go as far as to say it's X-Men before the situation of mutants progressed to the point where the X-Men were necessary. But given a choice between Heroes and Prison Break, I'd watch Prison Break.
Of course, given a choice between Prison Break and House, I'd watch House. And, in a completely illogical conclusion to the chain, given a choice between House and Power Rangers, I'd watch Power Rangers. Don't ask why, after showing a preference for intellectual programming, my final choice would be thus. This is simply the way it is.
Make the mistake of dissing Power Rangers and we'll see how your Heroes like being stomped on by a Megazord.

I like House, but there's no continuing story line. They try to make one, but I'm just not up for going with it, I can watch any episode out of chronological order and still enjoy it. Heroes and Lost I liked a lot because they had a developing story line that hooked you week after week. Heroes has a weak story line, plot holes, and be a bit slow at times, but it's the only live action anime out there. >.>

Or are you going to refer to anything with action scenes, superpowers, and at least one Asian to be anime?

No, anything with unbelievable story lines, too much drama, slow plot development, and superhuman powers is anime. :3

It's an okay show, but I stand by what Ninmast said, I'd prefer to watch "Lost" or "House". (Not so much into Power Rangers though. Sorry Nin. :/)
Anyway who cares if House doesn't have a continuing storyline, its a show dealing with Doctors in a hospital, shows like that--in my opinion--need to change each week so it doesn't get boring.
On a separate note, who here has seen the new TV series "My Own Worst Enemy"?

Sorry, dear. You forgot to add the main ingredient in House. A Cynical, Arrogant Bastard who always looks out for Number 1. He's my Hero. <3

I love the show. Saw season 1 and 2 and waiting for the DVD's to come out on season 3 (I missed a few episodes, so I'm gonna be totally lost if I try to get back in now).
As for 24... that's an... okay... show. Lost, I never saw. House, I never could get into...
EDIT: Never even HEARD of Prison Break.

And by chance, teh t.v gods steered my eyes to this thread.
Okay... HUGE X-Men fan here, so I must say, I love heroes. Now it's not as good as X-men, but with help it may one day become something close to x-men 3 (which was a failure if there ever was one).
I like teh cheerleader (strange since I despise wolverine's powers) and that she can't feel pain anymore. I feel she is stupid however. Hiro is cool too, he just won't go back in time for the damnest thing. ANNOYING!!!! >.<. . .
(I would take watching Power Rangers over a bunch of things, but not House O.o.)

Prison Break followed a strategic genius as he deliberately got himself thrown into prison so that he could stage an escape to get his brother out, who is on death row for a crime he didn't commit. Over the course of the season, he picks up others by necessity, some scum of the earth, like on child rapist that he really doesn't want to bring along, but doesn't have a choice if he wants it to succeed, while others are good or have learned their lesson, like an old man who's serving three life sentences for murder and armed bank robbery. The entire cast is very diverse and colorful, and watching the man alter his plans, sometimes on the fly, and how he manipulates everything, even as situations change, is really what makes the show awesome. Yeah, it has its action scenes, but it's largely an intellectual conflict.
