Fires have erupted once more in Southern California. Over five seperate areas of fire have erupted. One of the fires happens to be in Yorba Linda, my place of residence. We have been forced to evacuate, and I am unsure when I will have internet access again. I may be back tommorrow, or if worse comes to worse (house burns down... which I hate to say may be possible) may be a couple weeks. Just in case anyone is wondering why I'm not around or unable to be contacted.l

As long as everyone's safe, I see no problem. Hope for the best.

Yeah... the fires were a little crazy. From what I know most of them around my area have been contained. I'm still at home but everything is packed. The air is still smokey and I can still see the light from the flames from my room. At one point I saw the fire from my room. Currently I'm on watch right now, making sure to be awake just in case the fires start going crazy or anything... the only problem is... in 3 hours, I will have been awake for 24hours straight. So if I have to evac, things could be bad. Right now I'm running on hot peppers flavoured low fat chips that don't taste so great.
Good luck Kainus, I hope for the best for the both of us.

Thank you all for your concern.
The fires have moved on on, and we were able to return to our homes Sunday evening, however much damage was left. Numerous houses were torched, some in completely random areas of the neighborhood. A nearby park was also completely destroyed. A nearby river bed looks more like the moon now, and the hills are now dotted with black scorch marks. And despite all this, this is not the worst. Another fire going on at the same time, destroyed 500 mobile homes. We are lucky we did not suffer the same fate.

Dammit, why does California have to have all these fires all the time? Well I'm glad you're safe Kainus, but this fire thing is getting really ridiculous.
