Yo, I went to traffic court yesterday in the city of Fullerton for my traffic class. All was going well until I went inside through the metal detectors and had my backpack X-rayed. No, I was not packing any weapons, but they X-rayed my back pack twice only to find, I had a lunch. Since I don’t have a car and I’m at school all day Monday, I bring my lunch. A sandwich, a bag of cookies, a Crunch bar, and a bottle of water. Seeing this food, they said it was contraband and took it away from me and then followed to search my entire back pack to find that I didn’t have any weapons, drugs, or other food, even though they missed a bag of cookies that fell under my boxing wraps and tiny umbrella. So I lost my food, while the guy behind me with a pocket knife was given much less of a hard time.
So how messed up is this?
By the way I did manage to get my food back. Although they did do the cop thing and joke about it a lot and my whole class knows about it since my teacher had to point it out since he didn’t know you couldn’t bring food into the courtroom. I can’t believe all this bull shit over a sandwich, a bag of cookies, and a crunch bar.

For all they know, you could have laced your lunch with anthrax or something. Or, the sandwich might have balogna, in which case superheating it could cause a catastrophic explosion the likes of which the world has never seen. Bologna bubbles...
Anywho, I never knew that, either. It's really odd. Messed up, I believe. I guess...I don't know about courtroom stuffs, so I don't know exactly how messed up it really is.

That's odd. They didn't take my sandwich or cookies when I had to go to jury duty this last December.

Well if you went to the fullerton court house they just got the metal detectors... in the traffic and minor offenses side of the courthouse from what I was told. That is odd... the fact you got jury duty already. I haven't, but then again I'm not registered to vote, let alone have a drivers liecense... crap... in my plan to do the right thing to take out the enemy of the video gaming community, I'll have to put myself at risk for jury dutty... shit! WAIT! NO! I'm studying to be a police officers, no deffense atterny in their right mind would make me appart of a jury. Anyway, I don't know about that one. I do have a few theories.

The got me because I'm a registered voter. I'm one of the 3 democrats in Yorba Linda, the other 2 being my parents. Actually, I went to the county courthouse in Santa Ana. I was almost picked to be in a particularly serious case. Had one more person asked to be recused, I would have been on that jury.

It seems to me that you did learn something. The most feared weapon doesn't have a blade and it isn't rated by calibur. It isn't made of steel and it isn't dropped from a plane. It doesn't have an RPM rating and it doesn't poison the land with radiation. The most feared weapon in the world is made of flour, sugar, and perhaps a somewhat-addictive substance desired greatly by females.
