Name: Vash Tankson, “The Tank Man”
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Race: Human Mutant
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Power Level: 5
Timeline: Modern
Appearance: Vash wears a dark brown trench coat with a pair of tan pants and a white shirt with a brown vest. He has his dirty blond hair combed back like Arnold Schwarzenegger It is gelled so it stays like that even when he is introduced to a fight. He is pretty buff, spending much of his time in the gym, riding his motorcycle on patrol, or finding bars to get into fights at; more recently, his muscle-bound appearance comes from his powers. He is constantly in trouble with the police force for his work ethics. He wears a pair of dark shades almost all the time.
Personality: ‘The Tank Man’ is arrogant, swaggers all the time, is boastful, and violent. He is a workaholic, alcoholic, chain smoking bastard. He is two clicks shy of being a criminal, and is a few hundred bullets shy of a full clip, if you catch my drift. He listens to the Noir tapes of detective stories when he works, and is a stereotype. He even makes tapes himself and listens to them. He is also a womanizer.
History: Vash grew up in the Chicago suburbs. He was raised off of comic books like The Question and Mr. A, El Gato Negro, The Shadow and The Phantom. He wanted to be like them, then he got into the Noir tapes as he matured. He eventually got top marks in athletics, and spent his time in the Gym. He joined the police force, and eventually got to where he is today. Simple really, his history is really his personality and appearance stereotyped. He was drafted into the L.A. S.W.A.T. as a way to try and reign him in, failing miserably.
Vash was in a large scale gang war where his powers were brought out, rather than puberty like some mutants. During the battle, though he had bullet holes in his clothes, Vash was unharmed, and when he punched a gang member after his ran out of ammo he discovered his exploding punches. Through training he was able to focus his blasts and increase his speed to a max of thirty miles an hour, much like a tank's max speed. He refuses to answer to his old name, instead using only his nickname of The Tank Man.Credit to Ninmast for turning him into a Mutant
Powers: Vash is in top physical form. He is an excellent motorcyclist and caries guns big enough, with enough ammo, that he is sure to at least hit something when he fires. He is still working on his aim though, and he has started to hit the gym less and the shooting range more.
Explosive Punch: Vash has the ability to create explosions equal to a Leopard 2 A5 blast with each and every punch. Occasionally he will yell “Explosive Punch!” Insert Captain Falcon Here This will usually signifying the next blast will be highly concentrated for double the force, or he is doing a finishing blow to the face, heart, or in very rare cases, the groin.
Weapon Resistance: Vash has the ability to ignore and render most weapons useless they are a weapon capable of damaging an M1 Abrams. As a downside to this awe inspiring defense, the Tank Man is only capable of matching the M1's speed, making him rely even more upon his motorcycle.
Equipment: Vash carries a lot of ammo for the Beretta 92, his districts standard pistol, and plenty of ammo for his personal set of Jericho’s, AKA Baby Eagles. He has recently added in heavier and heavier weapons, a pair of Taurus Raging Bull .50 cal pistols, a 12 gauge S.W.A.T. shotgun, the Remington 1100, and a black market only weapon, the AT 4, a recoil less rocket propelled grenade launcher.
The shotgun is strapped to his back or left on the bike with the RPG, which is only used when able to, and that includes making sure no cops are able to witness it. The police pistols are holstered on his shoulders. The Baby Eagles are strapped to the back of his waist, and the Raging Bulls are strapped further down to his legs. They are all covered by his coat, usually.
He also rides a Sokol-CWS M111 refurbished motorcycle. It is modified to hold another Jericho set and ammo in abundance for ALL his weapons, in conjunction with his uniform and his own weight. The grand total for all this means that instead of the usual top speed he only goes a whopping fifty five tops, going downhill. Generally his max is fifty even.
Weakness: Vash is arrogant, easily angered, and easily manipulated. He carries a lot of ammo and has some heavy guns on him so he is even slower than his already tank like speed. He is also a womanizer.
