Name: Steven- by this point he has begun to call and think of himself as the Evermind.
Age: 37
Gender: Male
Race: Mechanically advanced Human
Alignment: Chaotic Good/ edging towards chaotic neutral
Power Level: 3
Timeline: Modern/post modern
Appearance: Steven is not particularly impressive in height standing at about 6 feet. His face is slightly boyishly rounded and despite him being a thin person his face remains stubbornly round. His eyes are a bluish green mix and his hair is reddish brown and slightly wavy. He likes the color green and green is the primary color of his clothing. His skin is abnormally pale and sunburns easily as well as being easily torn and cut. His eyes are often glazed over as if looking at something only he can see. He wears glasses and without them can see only a few feet in front of himself. His other fairly common appearance is a green trench-coat or lab coat. Now though his neck is encircled by a storage unit that includes the first of his prototype mechanical brains. This storage unit is made to fit with his clothing and is an actual part of his physical appearance as it has been wired into his body. It is the same color as his skin and seems to be a bulge under his clothing. His hands he know keeps in gloves all the time as he has been slowly replacing them with pieces of robotic technology augmenting their stability and inadvertently their strength.
Personality: He is by his own admission a rather selfish person caring about himself first and foremost and only then about others. His mind works slightly differently from most and so he has a slightly distorted view of reality. To him it really does seem like the world is out to get him even if he is the one who did something wrong. His moods can swing rather quickly from happy to sad to seriously pissed off, however the amalgamation of his mind with his mechanized brain has reduced his emotional outbursts a bit. He has a dislike of narrow passages and caves as he had a bad experience with one once as a child. Despite his selfishness sometimes compassion comes through as well and he works to fix his own annoying mindset of selfish behavior. He is even more highly intelligent than he was before but if anything is more set in his ways of doing things. He hates being told that his way is not the best way and often will continue to use a more inefficient way simply because it pleases him. Recently he has begun to become a little disillusioned with people as he seems to be becoming even more intelligent than they are.
History:
Steven successfully completed construction of the robotic brain unit RBU and though keeping the best of his several models hidden for himself, began to market them using the company he was a partner of. As one would expect the robotic brains sold quite well and were soon beginning to be used as an alternative to computer hard drives as they were more efficient.
His invention was the most profitable thing to come from the company he worked for in a long time and he managed a trick to get control of the company, he managed to figure out the lottery and to predict the number of that would win, he used the resulting money to finance the buy out the rest of the company. He renamed the company SRI Steven's Robotics Industries. He still had his rather selfish mindset. Despite his new ownership of the SRI he continued to not actually take much interest in the company affairs and aside from occasionally showing up at the office did not have much to do with his new purchase.
He as before spent most of his time at home in the basement of his house which was by now quite technical and strewn with a chaotic mix of inventions of various sorts. He began to apply his technology to himself reasoning that if he was better the world was better off, his slightly warped perceptions allowed for his rather odd logic to function.
With his own enhancement he has continued to work to produce things for the good of mankind though he now keeps the best for himself as prototypes and when he can incorporates them into his body. On the rare occasion he show up at the office for reasons other than to drop off the newest thing that the fabricators are too mass produce, people have begun to notice that he seems rather machinelike himself in his mannerisms.
Powers:
Far seeing- Steven still retains his original eyes despite their failings for he believes the process of far seeing to be related to them. It isn't but his belief is what is important. He has been able to refine his far seeing slightly and can now have it function like a video camera of sorts on autopilot with the addition of his second brain.
Robotic enhancement- Steven has begun to replace parts of his body with robotics. His hands and neck have been nearly completely replaced with minor changes in other places. He is no longer quite so flimsy.
lasers- Steven still carries his old laser pistol and now has embedded a laser into one of his fingers. He can activate it at will as like all his robotic parts they are wired into his nervous system.
Enhanced joints- Steven has modified his joints to be able to bend in ways more like a contortionist and considering that his joints are now metal he could take a bit more of an impact than a normal human.
Blades- The tips of his robotic fingers. Other than the laser one, are capable of sprouting 4 inch long blades. These are made from a rather durable metal and are stronger than steel.
Gravity manipulation- He has build a gravity manipulator into one of his hands and he is capable of using it to lift and propel things.
Strength- Steven is stronger than the average person. Not so much as to give a great advantage but enough that he should beat an average joe in a fight with fists.
Martial arts- Now a little less of a joke as even his terribly executed moves are things to watch out for when he can shatter your skull when he hits you.
Equipment: Despite him having made it nearly 20 years ago and the fact that he has made more reliable ones since he still carries his original laser pistol. Though now he also has a laser in one of his fingers. Designed for cutting metal so that he can build things more easily it can also cut flesh at close range.
Weakness: He is still rather absentminded and though brilliant he tends to act rather cluelessly at times. As before he has no social skills and if anything what little skills he may once have had have fallen by the wayside. His body though now enhanced is still mostly human and shooting him would still kill him efficiently. An EMP could in theory knock out his second brain and make his super intelligence fall back down to just peak human intelligence. Though his augmentation has made him smarter it also has made him more logical and he does not expect irrational things from others though he still does them himself.
