Aloraster's attacks ceased and then he turned his tendrils rearing back and his hand bearing the sword coming up to a proper position. The light that fell on him vanished and the room was fuzzy around him as if the very matter of the multiverse was being consumed around him. "And if I disagree planet bound? This is not enough you will all die, all of you" Alorasters now sinister whispery voice changed and a dark glow rose from his unoccupied hands.

"No, we shall not." The odd change in language and tone became more obvious in the wake of more than the single word she had spoken before, and as she moved forward, she rose up into the air, but without using her energy to do so. As she raised up, she changed, transformed into something more. Her eyes opened, bright, glowing blue, and ethereal wings of light spread out from her back like an angel. Her whole garb glowed bright, like the sheer amount of energy emanating from her permeated even the fabrics of her clothes. They seemed more like a robe now than the outfit she had come in wearing, and now, there was an unmistakable sensation of power, of life energy coming from her, emanating in waves and quantities that Aloraster had never before experienced. "The beings of this planet are the children of the Lord. They are not yours to do with what you wish. He commands that I give you one last opportunity to surrender and leave. If you do not, you shall be destroyed."

"You shall die, I will destroy you girl."
The Darkness of the void, anathema to the multiverse surged up around Aloraster. His hands came up and the Darkness surged forward in a flooding attempt to consume her.

But the two wings folded in around her and the darkness crashed against her in full force. She made no effort to move. And when the tidal wave exhausted itself, she was still there, that immense energy not remotely weakened. "Your decision has been noted," she answered as she held out one hand and a sword of pure angelic energy formed in her grip. She raised it to point it at him as if gesturing. "Fall, Servant of Evil. Your path has reached its end."
For a split moment, it would seem as if she would wait for him to respond, but that was quickly proven wrong as the blade lanced out and at Aloraster's chest in an instant. This pure, holy, extraplanar energy ... it was like nothing he had ever come into contact with. Even as it approached, the darkness that was the energy of the Void scattered like clouds of cowardly rats before it.

Aloraster shrieked in pain and rage as the light cut into him slicing deep into his darkened form. His tendrils wrapped around his body to shield him and they were sliced through as well. The darkness reformed as the light that cut through it faded. "How can this happen, you cannot have done the impossible, defeated the mighty Aloraster"
The darkness of the void roared up around him again and his tendrils darted forward again in a last desperate attack.

"Not I," the Chosen One answered, unfazed by the incoming attack, "but by the will of God are you defeated." She brought her hand around, and in its wake came a wave of that accursed holy energy, washing out to flood over the room, the incoming Void attack and Aloraster, himself.

Aloraster shrieked in pain and his body began to fall apart as the light washed over him. The Dreadlord's face contorted in agony and the darkness that had filled his eyes and his form writhed in almost terror as it hit him. "It cannot be" he gasped. Then the darkness vanished beneath the torrent of light and burst of silver erupted as the long hoarded life energy was released at long last.
In the fleet itself the founders were in nearly full rout. With aloraster's destruction the inquisitors' powers were weakened and their already weakened morale broke. Those surviving founder ships who could still flee vanished in silver portals of energy that opened around them. Those founders who could not flee activated the self destruct protocols and event horizons swallowed them whole.

Back on-board what remained of the command ship, in the wake of the great light, Star floated back down to the ground as the glow faded and she seemed to return to her normal self.
Master Zero's own transformation was released, as well, and he walked over toward her and Quicksilver. "So that's the power of the Chosen One. Still got enough juice to get us home before this place goes up?"
Star smirked tiredly as she raised her head to face him. "Different battery," she answered.
And down on the planet below, a fragment of consciousness was sent spinning on a collision course with the dead body of a human ...
The End?
