[OOC] This is for highpowered characters. Preferable 7's and 8's but I may accept 9's on a case by case basis. The timeline is modern but if you can find a way to get an older character in go for it. I hope to see some of the signature characters of this site make an appearance. You would be posting your response either to seeing the world blow up around you or receiving the Founders message of conquest. You do not need to contact me before joining unless you plan to enter a 9. Just post so we can start having fun. [/OOC]
For uncounted millennia they had searched, searched for a new world, a rich world. One that they could feed upon again. It had been so long that even they had begun to become desperate. In fact speculation had begun that they had consumed all non Founder life forms in the galaxy and preparations had begun to create the multiverse gate once again. The last scouting missions seemed to have failed to turn up a single inhabitable planet and with stores depleting day to day it was decided that they would have to pass through the gate.
The massive construct was given power and massive ships began to appear and pass through. The greatest of the ships were the size of moons themselves. Most of them had passed through when a energy fluctuation signaled the return of the last scouting vessel. Signals were exchanged and the scout vanished again. The remaining ships turned from the portal and it was shut down. It would take several days for the Glorious Ascension and the rest of the Founders to prepare for the jump, but they would come for something had been found. A world with life signals so rich that even as they prepared to leave the wreckage of the universe what remained of the Founders could not pass it up. Globes of silver energy began to surround the fleet as it too prepared to travel.
A world orbited a sun, a bright yellow star. A world that was blissfully unaware of what was about to descend upon it. Over 3/4s of the surface was covered with water but the massive amount of life made it worth the effort it would take to harvest it. A brief blip appeared on many of the nations of the worlds scanning systems. Then more blips appeared. Insignificant in size the anomalies were taken as meteors.
Fire erupted over the great cities of the world. Millions died as the shock and awe tactics began. Onboard the small ship which had apparently been the cause of the destruction a faint voice queried an onboard computer and a response was given. "This world is called earth." The faint voice sounded again, "Then let them see this as a warning. Should they resist we will slag the entire planet, they need not know that is bluff. Lord Aloraster brings the rest of us we must simply hold them down and prepare the world for the harvesters."
A message was broadcast openly with such power that every channel and station erupted into a burst of static and from that static came a voice, harsh and designed to invoke fear in those who heard it. "Denizens of earth your world is forfeit, if you resist you will all be slaughtered, remain calm and some of you may survive. That is all"

As the captain of the vessel floating beyond the atmospheric bubble held in place by the combined might of the blue planet's gravity and centrifugal force peered out of the scout's bridge visor, the exterior wall temporarily rendered translucent just for this purpose, a very odd sight greeted his or her optical sensors.
A pale biped creature with growth sprouting from the top the same color as the glow emanating from its body floated up before the bridge, reaching up with one paw, which apparently sported a triple-joint assembly of the phalanges and an opposable thumb, and rapped against the wall. The meaning of this action was no doubt lost on the bridge's occupants, but one thing was certain - the creature was not wearing any sort of protection against the vacuum of space, and since no Terran vessel was within range, apparently rose up from the planet below.
They were left with little time to wonder at this unusual situation, as it promptly vanished, only to reappear on the bridge, itself. Then, with perfect accentuation and a dialect identical to that of the Captain's society, the creature spoke to them in their own language. Any gender-dependant pronouns or such would reference it as a female, and her tone was one that, in their perceptions, would seem genial and conversational.
(OOC: Anything within [ ] are words spoken in the alien language.)
"[Hi, my name is] Star Peacefire. "

The Founder captain had indeed been looking out through the window as parts of earth burned below it. A mechanical voice spoke from the computer, "fleet to arrive in 3 planetary rotations." The Founder nodded its head slightly and then it had turned back to look down at Earth below.
It was then that he saw the strange earth denizen seemingly hovering out in the space outside the ship. The Captain's fully white eyes widened in some degree of shock at the site. He opened his mouth to give the order to turn the wall opaque again and then the girl appeared in the center of the command center. The captain spun and his hand moved to a weapon of some sort holster imbedded in the chair in which he sat.
When Star appeared she would see six figures each taller than a man. Each of them had all their bodies hidden behind layered clothes. The Captain's was colored differently than the others as his was pale red and white. The others were a pale almost sickly yellow in color. Their faces were almost featureless and were completely smooth with large white eyes nearly the size of tennis balls set deep in their almost featureless faces.
The captain felt a presence in his mind and in his surprise he didn't catch it before the girl had had the opportunity to view the language information. After that though he clamped down on his mind with his own power. He listened to what the being apparently known as Star Peacefire said and then he spoke himself. [This planet is subject for consumption, you however have troubled us] a faint hormonal message was issued by him to the others in the control room as he finished speaking, [therefore you will be terminated]. As he finished speaking a weapon was fired at Star from behind. A high strength stunner. The Captain also reached very quickly down and pushed the alarm button on the side of his chair. He moved very fast and it was unlikely Star would have time to interrupt him.

But the stun blast dissipated over some sort of barrier surrounding her, apparently the energy field they could see radiating off of her being. "[Yeah, sorry,]" she apologized with no small degree of sarcasm. ""
She casually walked closer to him, as if the blazing alarm didn't bother her at all. "[And I don't know if you guys work for] Galactus [or what, but I'm afraid our planet isn't on the menu.]" She reached his chair and casually leaned against it. "[Let me give you a tip, though. If you and your lackies leave now, you might be able to get out of the system before the stuff really hits the fan. Me?]" She pointed to herself. "[I'm a nobody in these parts, got something of a name for myself, but I encounter people that dwarf me in power on, like, a daily basis, and if I've picked up on your little shenanigans, then they aren't far behind. Ever hear of the] Edenites?" Star held her hands as wide as she could to indicate the size. "[They've got this huuuuuuuge ship that they call the] Elysium. [Enough cannons to make swiss cheese out of your tiny tugboat. And they don't like aliens.]"

The captain was moderately surprised by the stopping of the stun blast but considering the female had survived space and teleported into the control room without any form of technology it was not too much of a surprise. [energy manipulation is an interesting trick girl, but if all this planets natives were of your stripe or higher then you would not be here alone. You would have back up.] His hand raised a significantly more dangerous looking weapon than the stunner. His massive white eyes opened wider and a small nexus of white energy appeared before him.
A flick of the wrist and the spiraling energy flew towards Star as more of the Founders entered the chamber behind her. Several of them lifted the more menacing weapons and a series of significantly higher blasts flew at star from behind. [You fear those who are nothing to us planetbound]
The first of the landers began to descend to earth, each lander carrying 50 of the Founders down to earth, 50 of them in total landing in the craters and ruined cities that the initial bombardment had left. The Founder soldiers began to emerge, each armored with personal defensive shields that bullets simply bounced off of and they began to unleash blasts from their weapons that leveled the smaller buildings as they worked to clear harvester landing zones.

But Star simply stepped to the side with disturbing ease as the blasts moved past her. "Hon, [you are nothing to me,]" she told him bluntly as she ducked under two more blasts and rolled to the side of another. Meanwhile, the blasts of the soldiers was crashing against all of the equipment on the bridge in charge of controlling the vessel. "[I'm just tap dancing around while you destroy your own ship. That's how little you are worth my time. And yet you seem to think that what I fear is insignificant to you? Somebody needs to get their ego out of the way of their face.]"
*Ground*
One very tall building was still standing even as the soldiers began their assault. Before the building stood a man of apparently oriental and latino descent. He smiled viciously at the arriving warriors as behind him stood numerous large figures of features identical to one another, their stone gazes hidden behind black shades.
"Welcome to Earth, alien travelers," the man, his oil-slicked hair not waving in the wind, greeted them. "In honor of your arrival, I make this one-time offer: Turn over all of your technology to me and I shall offer each of you a position of employment within my expanding company. Refuse, and I shall have to regretably have you pounded into dust."

[We build our weapons with a thought to our own safety wretch, to an extent our weapons will not destroy our own ships but we can take this to a different style if you wish.] As he finished the statement his eyes widened even more and suddenly he seemed to vanish in a blur, molecular blades emerging from the full body wrappings. A flurry of strikes at supernatural speed all aimed at disemboweling or otherwise crippling star. As he launched his attack another soldier ran in, this one with a green uniform. The other soldiers immediately despite the situation saluted the arrival. [Hail] Sephrin [as you can see we have a slight situation here] The Green wrapped Founder simply stood there apparently keeping track of the speedy fight without effort.
*Ground*
The common soldiers in yellow wrappings looked up at the man and one of them shrugged. They didn't speak the earthling language and so they simply proceeded to open fire. Blasts of white energy flew from several of the guns, flying straight at the man and his hulking cronies. Several of the other guns fired high explosive projectiles designed to level the entire building. As the smoke settled half the founder soldiers began to advance slowly while they fired up their personal shields. Several black wrapped Founders stood back behind the area where the fighting was taking place and it would seem they were giving the orders though they never moved.

The captain's first swing with his falchion-like blades was horizontal, but the nimble human ducked underneath, then skirted to the side to avoid the vertical follow-up. Quickly stepping back, she avoided several more in the quick but inaccurate flurry of attacks, then when it seemed like she was backed up as far as she could go, his next strike, a stab that should have been at her middle section, was thwarted with a display of extreme flexibility as she leaned all the way back and the blade lanced over the top of her, just barely brushing the front of her shirt. The true edge of the blade, the width of a single molecule, neatly cut through the shirt, tracing a red line up the length of her smooth abdomen, though strangely, she ignored this seemingly serious wound, and in truth, it healed up nearly as quickly as it was dealt.
In the same motion she used leaning back, however, she brought up her right foot and sent it with incredible force up at his completely unprotected chin. With the strength behind the blow, the captain would be sent flying back across the bridge and very likely through multiple walls, if his skull survived the force of impact without turning to jell-o.
*Ground*
But the man merely smirked as he saw the blasts rushing toward them. "So be it," he stated. "Dust it is."
As the clouds of debris enveloped the battlefield, it was, perhaps, the very upper portions of the tumultous cloud that suggested something was wrong, for as they cleared away, the top of the building was still precisely where it was before the bombardment. The tower still stood.
As the soldiers reached the edges of the smoke and dust, large hands shot out of the concealing blossom, closing about the soldiers like a vice and crushing their skulls and the barriers that they had expected to protect them. As the bodies of the first were still falling to the ground, the rest of the powerful H.A.C.S. units charged forward, thrashing aside any alien in their path.
And as a strong wind came through to push the dust away, so, too, was the man who commanded them completely unharmed, just smiling that vicious, greedy smile of his as he watched the bloody massacre his creations caused.

Star made a disgusted face as the Captain's face expanded even further. "Dude, [if you keep this up, your eyeballs are gonna pop like giant water balloons, and I really don't wanna be in the way when that happens ...]"
As he came running at her, spinning one blade in what was an attempt at a shield, she groaned. Somebody had been watching too much Turtles, she thought. As he came up on her, her left hand shot out and closed around his fingers, grasping the hilt with them as the blade came to an immediate stop. Then, while his gaze was momentarily shocked, she let him see her grin, drew her fist back, and as energy flared around it, she shot it in toward his over-inflated face for a ki-charged Power Punch.
The blow was too much for the shield to take. It shattered under the force, and then as her fist impacted with his face, his eyes followed suit, popping in a mess of smelly goo as per her prediction as he went flying away from her, slamming against the far wall and collapsing on the ground, unconscious.
"Ewww ..." she complained as she shook her fist off, trying to rid it of the nauseous gunk. "[Can't say I didn't warn him ... All this fuss just because I wanted to ask a question ...]"
(OOC: I know you've gotta turn around and auto her, but it'd be nice if I could at least get a response out of them for that.)
*City*
But there was no exposed exoskeleton, as the polymers forming their flesh was far too durable to be torn by simple concussive blasts. The H.A.C.S. units overran the common soldiers with disturbing ease and made a crashing stampede for the black-suited commanders, the blasts from their plasma weaponry hammering against their massive chests and doing little more than buying them precious moments.
Meanwhile, the blasts aimed for the man were avoided with surprising dexterity as he ducked down and to the side, then took off at a run toward them, quickly gaining on the slower-to-accelerate H.A.C.S. units and coming into the front of the fray just in time to get to the commanders.
As for the charging commander, he never actually made it around behind the H.A.C.S. unit. The mechanical golem's extreme reaction speed resulted in its arm shooting up to the side as the commander tried to pass it, clotheslining the alien with the force of all of its superspeed in a single blow to the abdomen before the machine thrust its arm back to the ground to slam the commander into the concrete, where it would be in danger of being trampled by both the unit it tried to attack and those behind it.

The Captain did indeed fly backwards into the wall when he was struck, he also in collapsing left a dent in the wall. Sparks flew from a damaged control panel and landed on the floor around him. That seemed to be the only damaged the control room had suffered though the captain was definitely worse for wear after the impacts. He remained motionless though his body began to very slowly repair itself. He would not be up for doing anything for quite a while. At least not until his eyes grew back.
The Inquisitor stepped forward and began to speak himself. He had while the combat had been proceeding picked up the earth language from Star's mind. "You beat the captain, impressive but you must know that you will ne--" The Inquisitor's voice cut off suddenly and his white eyes suddenly constricted to slits before flaring open wildly. His hands jerked up and his entire body made similar jerking motions, as if he was being driven by a puppeteer of some kind, and not a particularly skilled one.
The eyes that now opened glowed with a bright somehow wrong seeming silvery light. A light that seemed not quite of this world, a voice issued forth in place of the Inquisitor's normal voice, a dreadful voice. "I SEE YOU" The words seemed charged with a malevolent hungry energy, a sort of heavy weight that was far more than normal words could bear. What was once the Inquisitor spoke again. "I SEE YOU, CHOSEN OF THIS UNIVERSE, YOU ARE NOTHING BUT DUST UPON THE WIND TO ME, NOTHING!!"
The words seemed to hang in the air as if they were more than simple words and then Star would feel an ancient and cold presence in her mind, millions if not billions of years old, a presence that seemed to resound with an alien otherness more so than any alien she had ever felt before. Then a flash of red in her mind and she collapsed her mind simply overloaded by the sheer power of the mental assault.
The Inquisitor jerked again as Aloraster withdrew all but the ever-present seed of his power from the founder. He came out of the trance like state with a final sudden jerk. Then he proceeded to give orders quickly and efficiently. "[Inject the girl, then carry her to the stasis chamber. I expect given what has occurred that our Lord Aloraster has taken a direct interest in her]" then he looked towards the captain, he sighed "[and take him to the sickbay, he will need time to recover, though he will not be punished for he fought well]" The Inquisitor then walked over to the seat and sat where the captain had previously sat. He payed almost no heed as his instructions were carried out. It was going to be a long invasion.
*Ground*
The Commanders seeing the futility of the battle activated the kill switches they possessed and the last few living and all the dead regular soldiers from the 50 who had landed suddenly sucked in everything for a few feat around them and then violently exploded. A few unfortunate H.A.C.S units were caught in the miniature vortexes of high power suction and in a few cases some extremities were removed by the vortex and resulting explosions. The Black suited officers then in turn activated their own kill switches.
The Officer pinned to the ground below the massive H.A.C.S unit struggled to reach his own kill switch for a moment before remembering in a sudden brief moment of calm that it was triggered mentally. He too suddenly first sucked in the matter within a few feet of him and then exploded violently.
The landing craft also proceeded to detonate with the activation of the switches, the explosion leveled more of the already devastated city.
*Ground Elsewhere*
At the other landing sites, all quite a long way from Karasawa, the set up was proceeding according to plan. The city buildings had in many places been leveled and materials used to construct bunkers of sorts for the Founders who had landed, several more shuttle craft descended to each outpost and deposited heavier weaponry as the news of the wiped out lander spread through the troops. Some of them began to get jumpy even as the officers assured them that such a thing was a fluke.

*Ground Elsewhere*
A short man of European descent walked out of the destruction and leveling of the city around him by the aliens, his clothing torn and dirty from the buildings collapsing on top of him - though having to get out of it severely slowed him down since he hadn't expected the sudden attack.
As he walked the path into the sight of the bunker being constructed, he felt the muscles in his back twitch with that distinctive twitch as his shirt ripped in the back as his white feathered wings burst out of his back setting his slim frame.
Destroying a city, killing countless people. These people were destructive beyond compare in his mind as his light purple eyes skimmed the outer parts of the bunker - his eyes taking in vast amounts of details - from everything within sight, even though his light brown hair.

*Ground Elsewhere*
The Founder soldiers on guard around the bunker and on the expanding perimeter of charred asphalt where the city buildings had once stood noticed the man. One of the Founders turned to another and a light chuckle sounded. "[ Seems these planet bound have some variations.]"
The other Founder looked at the first and laughed himself, "[It should be entertaining to watch them all be consumed, they seem to be a peaceful bunch at the moment regarding us, perhaps terror worked this time.]"
The first of the yellow robed Founder soldiers shrugged his shoulders and turned back to look at the man who stood watching the bunker. His own massive white eyes took in the man out there and he raised something that was not a weapon to his mouth.
"You out there," an amplified voice boomed. "Identify yourself and then proceed to leave this area at once or you will be killed and your remains used as fuel for the glory of the Founders."

Karasawa walked about the remains calmly, unperturbed as his H.A.C.S. units salvaged what technology there was. The great majority of them were dismantling the transport vessel, and all of them were bringing anything intact back to the labs deep beneath his tower.
The man knelt beside one of the holes that had been the location of one of the aliens when they self-destructed. "A nice little last-ditch you had there," he told the hole. "I didn't expect you to give up and use an event horizon. It's a good thing it'll take more than that, hmm?" He patted the side of the hole and stood. "H.A.C.S."
Immediately, those units in his vicinity turned to face him.
"Keep salvaging the remains. I'm going on to another landing zone." With the orders received, the units resumed their work and he simply walked off, as if he had all the time in the world.

Inside her capsule, Star let out a groan as she came to, probably much sooner than they had expected, but not sooner than they had been prepared for, as the capsule was already quite sealed. The last thing she remembered was blinding white pain. The resulting headache was still fading, but it was fading fast.
She opened her eyes and looked out through the capsule at the aliens beyond. "Hey, bug-eyed freaks!" she shouted. "Let me out of here, or you'll wish you had!" The capsule was too small for her to move her arm enough for a punch, or even lift it very far. Incredibly uncomfortable, she mused.

The capsule's software upon discovering that Star's vital signs had proceeded to activate the capsule's internal containment system. Some stasis tubes were made for containing prisoners and other captives deemed valuable. Gas designed to keep the inhabitant of the tube conscious but immobile. The Black wrapped Founders stood in a loose shape around the capsule. Several of them laughed at her as they watched her discover the bounds of her new prison. "Foolish planetbound, one would think that at least one civilization would be smart enough to simply submit."
Another Officer with larger eyes than the others and silver also included on his wrappings raised a long pale hand in a mocking salute. He spoke in his own language scorning the language of earth "[You have seen but a taste of the power and glory of our Lord Aloraster.]"
Most of the officers turned and began to walk away as it was clear to them that the prisoner was secure. The Officer with silver stayed and watched Star for another moment before he too began to walk away.
