Masked Tragedy and myself have decided to leave the EAB indefinitely, so this is our collective farewell post. It's been a fun ride, amigos, but it's lost its luster.


I can't tell you when or if I'll be back. MT either. Please pardon this abrupt departure. Contact me either through this post or by MSN for questions.

My cat running on its front legs bids you adieu, as well. He'll be going back to the legendary nation of Preußen to run through fields of the finest carpet fuzzies, soft and billowy as clouds of cotton candy raining goose down. Or somethin' like that.

You guys take care of L337 for me. I built up my post count to over 7000 mainly through it. It's like a second home for me, so if I see any spam in it that's not pink and squishy and sold in blue rectangular cans... Well. Let's just say if a pressurized can of surströmming happens to blow up on your doorstep, it totally wasn't me. *ahem*

For any RP that MT was in or ran, it's safe to say she's out.

There has been some discussion, and this applies only to This One, a'ight? As far as MT goes, it's safe to assume she's still gone indefinitely.

It goes like this- if you're trying to start up an RP and you absolutely need just ONE more person to get it going, and it's been a week or two since you got your other members and you're pretty sure no one else is going to join, talk to me and I'll see what I can do.

Really, I joined this site to RP and every one I've been in so far has either died or failed to start altogether, so I figure there's no point in spamming L337 if that's all I'm going to contribute.

So, it seems I'm still going to be hanging around, after all. Just expect a decrease in activity from me.

I understand your reason This One. I myself have been taking a break from the EAB to get my head back together. Every since I had my wisdom teeth removed my brain has been a bit funky... not to mention I completely forgot everything I was planning for that Super Hero RP I started. But after my computer died, I just need to get my mind working again, find my muse, and get back to writing something that isn't for college.... which is what I keep burning my brain out on. Or maybe its the paint fumes from my new job... or that I finally started to play an online free MMORPG.... *Senses KT somewhere at sometimes pointing her finger and yelling "HA Ha, now who is addicted!".*

On that note, anyone who plays Fantasy Earth Zero can easily find me on there. Mainly because I go by the same name I use here just... it's Ejp not EJP.... bloody name programing crap. Oh and I'm in the Western Red Axe nation Netzavare (FOR ERIS!) and a member of the Mythical Corp. Also I have a female character in Hordaine by the name Tiggels who I rarely play as but mainly made her to get a free dragon soul and try out the scout class.

I’m reviving this thread. I know it’s almost a year old, but I don’t fear reprimand as I’ve decided to renounce my membership to the Elite Authors’ Board.

As you can see in my previous post, I decided this time last year to decrease my activity. I made a deal with some of the admins that if there was an RP that needed just one more member to take off then I would be that person. The RPs that I joined under this condition have died.

There are multiple reasons for my leaving. First off, I am, quite frankly, bored with the EAB. It’s not that the members here aren’t stimulating, because there are some very talented and fascinating individuals on this board, as I’ve come to realize. However, with the dwindling level of activity we’ve been experiencing, especially in this past year or so, I feel that we don’t have a broad enough variety of ideas and perspectives. If all of our members were active, the board would be much more interesting, and I feel RPs could progress much more organically. Unfortunately, this is not the case right now and I don’t see a sudden increase in activity in the near future being a likelihood. Secondly, I’m busy with life in general. Between juggling school, extracurricular activities, finding internships, and participating on multiple RP forums, I’m being stretched thin. Something has to give, and the EAB is it.

I know I’m in some RPs right now. I apologize for any inconveniences this will cause. You're free to take over for my characters.

So This One and Teh Donut have being having an online love affair. I KNEW IT! Ok I didn't know it and I am trying to make a joke here but... meh.

I'm sad to see you go This One but I am even sadder to see you drop out of my humor RP. How will I be able to continue it without you. I know it may seem insane but I don't like the idea of an RP with just 3 people. However I'm too busy to think about that now. I have papers to write. Anyway, good bye even though I know I'll see you around.
