Name: Miyoko
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alignment: Neutral Good
Power Level: Low-tier Low (1)
Timeline: Feudal Japan
Appearance: Somewhat short in stature, Miyoko looks younger than she really is, and she bears a constant energetic spring in her step that her Onesan is always reminding her to control. She has been a Maiko for four years, and thus does not constantly wear the makeup. She does wear it for all jobs, in which case her face, neck and shoulders are painted a gentle white with a two-pronged dip at the nape of the neck. Her eyebrows and the corners of her eyes are outlined with black charcoal and the whole of her eyes are outlined in red. As is traditional for a Maiko, only her bottom lip is painted when applying her mask. The top is left bare. Her kimonos are primarily pink designs, like cherry blossom petals, and her obi is a rose red.
Personality: Miyoko is very easy-going and open-minded when it comes to other people and always puts her best face forward. Her value in life is in entertaining others and hosting for them. It was why she dreamed of seeking the path of the geisha when she was little, and still it drives her now. She always behaves as properly as possible and her feathers are only truly ruffled when too many things seem to go wrong at once.
History: It was always her dream to become a Geisha, high-line entertainers that they were. She used to watch them when she was a child, dancing and twirling, playing and singing, or just entertaining people. That was the draw. Entertaining people. Making people happy. That was what she wanted.
When she was old enough, she entered under a geiko named Kasumi and underwent the rigorous training that all shikomi go through at the beginning of their paths. Once she passed her final examination, she became a minarai and continued her training at a local tea house. Finally, she became a maiko under Kasumi, herself. As is tradition, when choosing her new name and leaving her old behind, as do all maiko as a sign of their acceptance into their new lifestyle, she took a letter from her Onesan, the letter M. Onesan Kasumi helped her select it, and it means beautiful child of the third generation, as Miyoko was the first of the third generation of children she had taught the ways of the Geisha.
As Onesan Kasumi is a relatively self-employed Geisha, she and her students do well enough to get by comfortably, but they lack the funding of a fully-sponsored house. It is Miyoko's dream, when she becomes a Geisha, to find a Danna of her own that would sponsor her house.
Powers: None, her only talents being those she utilizes and has developed in her training. In other words, hostess and homemaker skills, as well as musical and other entertainment talents.
Equipment: None, other than any equipment she may have for events.
Weakness: Completely normal with no combat-related capabilities or training.
