OOC: (Just post where you’re opening (Character doing normal stuff and find a way for them to get to the dimension through a random wormhole or portal, etc.) and what the environment is like before you enter. Stop when you get to the point of going falling into whatever means transports you to this dimension. I will take it from there. I will refer to towns by their Roman numeral (I, II, III, IV, V, or VI), cities by their Letter (A, B, C, D, or E) and for other points give rough descriptions on using the map provided. For Future notice, C is the MAIN city. Entering here will allow you to start a storyline. If you do not want to start my story line then do w/e else you want to do in this place. Just remember to have fun.) MAP: i136.photobucket.com/albums/q195/PsiArtist/4f4ae30f.jpg----------------------- IC: A child with a tangle of green hair and eyes that showed clearly his curiosity, Kopa, tinkered with a strange apparatus (Shoka, his twin brother, watched over him to make sure nothing catastrophic happened) as Aina, accompanied by Sam, inputted coordinates into a large mechanical device. They were preparing to cross dimensions once again. This had quickly become routine for them as they chased their creator (in one way or another) across dimensions some time ago. However, after finding her they had set back to their home world, where they were now hoping they would end up. Dimension hopping was tricky business though. Time and relative space were different for each dimension and it has been theorized that almost an infinite amount of dimensions existed in their current reality. To prevent from being lost they used a tracker but lately it had seemed to be off. Kopa smacked the apparatus with an open palm which made it light up. “That’s not how you operate it correctly Kopa.” His purple hair, too short to fall into his purple eyes (eyes that showed someone who had patience beyond his apparent age) bounced around atop his head as he shook it at the display. “Yeah, but it worked, see.” Kopa laughed happily, showing his twin the results from his manhandling of the apparatus. “That’s probably why it’s been off lately. Are you sure you can operate it correctly?” Shoka asked. “Yeah, I got it. You can go help Sam and Ain…oh, never mind.” Kopa stopped as he saw the two approaching from across the lab that the group was occupying. It was a small square building that sat on rolling plains, far enough from the outside world that any stray experiment would not affect the rest of the population on the planet. The stone walls were lined with various vials of liquids and jars of strange materials. Light from the midday sun filtered through holes in the building and open windows. It showed clearly the dust and vegetation that told how long it had been abandoned. “All finished. You two set it up?” Sam asked Kopa. Sam was a little shorter than Kopa but the two could almost be brothers that their personalities were so close. Aina on the other hand was more like an aunt to the rest of the group. Only of nineteen years of age she had taken up traveling with the other three out of a hunger for adventure. She had gotten more than she had bargained for up until now but she wasn’t complaining. Shoka nodded while Kopa mashed a few buttons. His finger hovered over a large one as he looked around, silently asking if they were ready. As they responded with a nod he pressed the button and ripped a whole in the dimensional wall that separated the current one from the others. There was no sound at all just the appearance of a large square that showed into the next world. Without hesitation the group filed through onto plush grassland that resembled that of the outside of the lab they were just in. The warm sunlight beamed down on them from above and looking up they saw that they were indeed on another world as five stars and moons were scattered about the wide sky. (Posiiton: A few miles outside of City C)

The robed figure of a man currently was idly standing about beside the identical figure of another robed man who was then standing before a bookcase amidst many inside a rather large library. The room was entirely filled with darkness, being that it was the middle of the night, however that certainly wasn't stopping the man from reading a book he currently had open in his hands. It certainly was an interesting book, a fairy tale actually. What was so interesting about it was that it just so happened to be in this library, in this specific section of the library, on that exact shelf before him(before he pulled it down of course). This was a library situated inside a palace whose king was a wizard, the library stocked with nothing but books on magic, this section being labeled restricted, this specific bookcase being labeled doubly restricted and only containing books to be read(much less touched) after attaining the kings direct permission. Oh, but it was definately a rather entertaining fairy tale, so much so that those previous details elluded him entirely until a sword was suddenly pressed up against his back. The other of the two robed figures dissapeared as a second sword made contact with it.
"You do know where you are right now, don't you?" Spoke the supposed owner of the first sword in a soft voice.
"Oh, I must apoligize. I actually got completely enthralled by this amazing fairy tale sort of book that I forgot where I was for awhile." Returned the robed man in a cheerful sort of tone.
"Yes, yes, of course. Let me remind you. You are currently inside a room made of sugarbread and candies, infact you were actually just about to take a bite out of a doorknob, just to see how it tasted. By the way, it is my house you were thinking of eating so now I'm thinking of cooking you up for dinner." The sword's owner replied in a voice dripping with grim sarcasm.
Alberio chuckled a bit, cutting it short when the sword pressed harder against his back. "Oh please don't eat me. I know I must taste quite delicious, but I must say I don't sit well with the stomach."
"Oh enough of this game. I probally don't need to tell you but the penalty for infiltrating this section is a public death before the king." The person removed the sword from his back and sheathed it. "Men, arrest him." Two guards moved forward and grabbed each of Alberio's arms, turning him around to face their captain. "What's your name? It won't do for a good public execution if you're nameless."
Alberio looked at the captain from beneath the shadow of his hood, hiding his face entirely except for his mouth which now turned up in a sly grin. "My name is Alberio the Unedible Master Candy House Infiltrator and Get-awayer. Pleasure to meet you captain. However I must cut this meeting short now. I have to return from whence I came before all the little birdies eat up the breadcrumbs I left behind to help me find my way back out. If you'll excu--." He suddenly dissapeared from the guards grasp, leaving them rather confused. The captain suddenly snapped around as she picked up on the sound of receeding footsteps. "After him! Don't let him escape!"
Now this was getting exciting, a chase was one of Alberio's favorite games, even moreso when the playground was a castle in which he had no idea where he was going. Looking back, apparently those guards were rather quick on their feet, especially that captian as she was currently leading the pack. Now looking ahead he was met with the current hallway coming to an intersection and chose to begin with taking the left hallway. Ah, bad move. He immediately found himself face to face with a small group of guards idling chatting while on patrol. Turning around, he instead darted down the right hallway as the idle guards quickly figured it out and joined the chase. Several random intersections later things were beginning to get tricky as the guards were now abusing the fact that Alberio had no idea where he was going and were starting to cut him off at more and more places. The chase had also slowly begun working its way higher and higher into the castle which was giving nothing but trouble for poor Al, made worse by the fact that he also had drawn the attention of the more elite guards capable of casting magic. Clearly these people did not understand the rules involved in a game of chase whilst Alberio was playing. (Rule number one: Only Al gets to play with magic. Rule number two: Spontaneous combustion is not Al's fault. Rule number three: Stay away from cliffs. They make for bad game overs.)
Atlast this game too appeared to be coming to an end as Alberio now, unfortunately, found himself turning down a hallway lined with numerous doors on either side and which ended in a wall. Ah, dead ends. The number three most popular cause of premature game overs for Alberio. He turned back to see the guards having caught up to him and slowed down to a stop upon noticing the dead end as well. The captain stepped forward, not looking the least bit out of breath, and giving Alberio a very annoyed look.
"I'd have to say it looks like this long detour has come to an end. However I have to give you points for being able to drag us across the entirety of the palace before catching up to you. Of course, you're apparently due to die now rather than allow you a possible second chance at escape."
Alberio sighed, shrugging off the comment. "Perhaps I should aim for a more open course next time. I always lose early because of these silly d--" A bolt of magic lanced through the air at Al, interrupting him. He however dissapeared and immediately reappeared right beside where he'd been standing, the bolt hitting the wall at the end of the hallway. "--dead ends." He finished as if nothing had happened.
"I suppose I should have guessed that escaping harm is your specialty. You won't be able to dodge however if the entire hall is filled with magic. Any last words?"
He stood silent for a moment thinking before speaking. "Door #1?" He lifted up a hand and held up a single finger. "Or Door #2?" Lifting his other hand, he held up two fingers. The captain simply raised an eyebrow with a questioning look before raising her own hand to signal for the guards to kill him. "Oh, Door #5? Alright then." Alberio looked about and counted off the doors until he got to five then moved over to it. "Now then ladies and gentlemen! I give you door number five!" He promptly opened the door and stepped through just as the entire hallway was suddenly filled with an explosion of magic.
"That should do it. Gather his body, or what remains, and dispose..." The captain's words trailed off as the smoke cleared. The door Alberio has opened was in pieces, however Al himself was nowhere to be found. And then it dawned on her. She ran forward to the open doorway to find herself before a magic portal which just began to flicker out and then die. "Dammit! How could I have forgotten what this part of the palace was! That man, he must've known exactly what he was doing to be able to plan for him to end up cornered in this exact place. This isn't going to go over well when I report this..."

Slowly, the girl returned to consciousness, feeling the cold, ungiving floor, smooth despite its age - her sensors reported back a figure outnumbered by zeros that she wasn't really conscious enough to register yet - beneath her side. With a groan, she rolled off of her arm, which had gone numb, but didn't yet open her eyes. Where was she, what had happened? Oh, right, the mission. They were on Terra, down in the ruins trying to keep the old System from coming back online. She had gotten separated from the group, split apart from them by a surprise hole in the floor. They had shouted instructions for her to start mapping that area and try to find a way back up to them.
That map came up in her mind's eye, a blip giving her current condition before it shrunk down to a smaller image in the upper left corner. Her internal records claimed that she mapped the greater portion of the registered corridors in a rather small window of time: She had been running. She pulled herself into a sitting position as she rubbed her forehead, feeling her bare fingers sift through the bangs there. But what had she been running from, she wondered.
As she propped herself up with her other hand, it came to rest on something metal. "Huh?" she asked herself as she finally opened her eyes and glanced around. She was at the corner of an L-turn in a hallway, and littered all the way up both directions was a whole mess of sentry bot remains. That was right ... Soon after dropping into the lower level, sentry units had come upon her and given chase. They had cornered her in this hallway, from both directions, and ... and ... and that was all she could remember. She must have been knocked unconscious. Maybe they had been using stun pulses ...
Beta ran a finger down a now-cold gash through one of the bodies that looked like it had been rapidly melted through. Suddenly, she drew her finger back with a gasp as an image flashed through her mind of a plasma sword cutting through the body. So an Edenite saber had done this. Looking around, she saw nearly identical markings on all of the rest of them, meeting in her mind with corresponding residual images of brief shots of contact. Not just this, then, but the same saber had destroyed all of these reaver-bots. Had her squad caught back up with her? She glanced back and forth, trying to see if anyone else was around. If they had reached her, where were they now? Maybe only one had fallen through at another pit and had left her to recover while he went looking for something. That made sense.
The girl nodded at that as if coming to a decision and got to her feet. That must be the case, it was the only logical explanation. Well, she'd just look around for him then. She only got one step under her, however, before she heard the telltale whirrings of more sentries approaching. Looking to her left, she could see their red lights that served for eyes shining out of the darkness. Without having to be told twice, so to speak, the Purifier took off in the other direction.
Hallways blurred by as her metal boots clanked out a steady rhythm beneath her, her internal map constantly updating as she took turn after turn. Up ahead - she knew the area up ahead! It was a door that led into a control room! She could lock herself in there from the sentries and maybe even find something to help the others! ... But how did she know all that? Her map for this area was blank, which meant she hadn't been here before. So how did she know it was a control room?
Blasts from the units that had just rounded the last corner zoomed past her head and with a cry of panic, she shoved such a situationally low-priority concern from her mind and put on an extra burst of speed to make for the door. She slapped it open, spun through and slapped the button to close it behind her. A few key presses locked it securely and she turned to lean against the wall with a sigh of relief.
"Safe ..." she breathed before opening her eyes, intending to turn her attention to the consoles ... only to see a vast chasm in the floor before her opening up. "WAAAAAAAAAAH!" the girl panicked. "THAT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!!" Her sensors were going crazy around the thing. Energy spikes, energy dips, and solidarity simply cascade failing in the presence of this portal, and it was widening. She squeezed herself against the wall as she was running out of foot room, but it was only delaying the inevitable. A few scrabbling moments later and she was plummeting down again with a cry of, "NOT AGAIN!!!"

Classic set-up. 'Haunted' castle, used as cover for a lame scientist or wannabe-pope king person and the Hellgate they're hiding in their massive secret underground complex, while they try to bend demonic powers they couldn't possibly hope to understand to their will so they can take over the world.
"And only one smokin' sick badass to stop them!" said Caelus Aelius, as he stylishly vanquished the abomination that the scientist pope king had become in his last ditch effort to ensure his conquering of the world. Naturally, he made sure to brush the dust off his jacket, though, much to his chagrin, he realized that he left his sunglasses back at the office.
"Now on to the boring work. Nobody to see me take this place apart, but at least I know I'm doing the right thing and stuff. Kicking ass for the greater good and what not. And then going all one-man wrecking crew, because otherwise, some douchebag comes and opens the gate back up." Predictably, the demon hunter proceeded to, with power and grace close and disassemble the Hellgate; the ancient castle was saved from his wrath only when Caelus noticed an odd glowing behind a wall.
One Full Contact Magic-fueled flying kick later, Aelius found that the glowing was caused by what looked to be a digital clock attached to some odd device. The clock was ticking down. Apparently there were only about five seconds left. 4 seconds. 3. 2. 1.
"Oh shi-" The rest of what the young man was saying was lost in the portal-vortex, and he shortly passed right out.

The girl could smell the savory scents that wafted up from the massive banquet table that was spread out before her. Aloraster had no idea how it had gotten to this strange hall but it felt a great hunger now. The girl's head turned to survey the dazzling array of foods. Oddly enough though when it she examined them she found that she could recognize what any of the items of food before her actually were. This caused a moment or two of confusion before Aloraster decided that in all likelihood it would be best to simply ask one of the other people in the crowd what the foods actually were.
Aloraster had not been stuck in the human body for all that long and had by no means really learned anything like proper etiquette. The girl reached out and tugged on a man standing next to hers arm. "Tell me what these things are now." She waited a moment and when the person didn't reply Aloraster started to bristle before remembering what had happened the last time. "Please?" She finished.
However when the man turned to her and replied the reply was unintelligible and sounded more like grunting than someone actually speaking. Aloraster turned away in what it thought was an expression of disgust but really didn't look like one. She walked over to the table again and picked up a plate. It looked at each of the dishes it passed by and occasionally selected something from one that it deemed good enough and safe enough to sample. This process took quite some time as the table never really seemed to end and almost seemed to grow as the girl attempted to reach the end of it.
Eventually though it did end and Aloraster turned away from it and moved over to eat from the plate it had piled high with food. Suddenly there was a commotion that began at the far side of banquet hall. For a moment Aloraster simply ignored it but then the commotion drew nearer. Aloraster had seen many things in its millions of years of existing but this was something it hadn't seen.
The girl suddenly found herself under assault by what would appear to be flying monkeys. Aloraster lashed out as much as it could in the limited body it was stuck in. The void blades appeared in its hands for a moment and she cut at the monkeys as they tried to steal the plate of food. Unfortunately there were far too many of them and the girl was buried beneath them.
Aloraster awoke suddenly and an expression of some alarm flickered onto its vessels face for a moment. Then it realized where it was. This was the bedroom of the house that it had taken when it had taken over the body in which it now dwelt. "Dreams" the girl spat the word out as if it was poisonous. Aloraster had never dreamed before being stuck here and it did not much like the sensation of doing so.
It considered attempting to return to sleep but then the other reason for having woken up was realized. The body aloraster possessed once again had to utilize the facilities. Aloraster maintained a disgust for the whole process and was internally cursing the body it was stuck in even as she got up out of the bed. However rather than having feet hit the floor there was simply blackness and the girl's feet passed right through it. Then she fell and there was darkness.

[OOC: Look at positions and if there is someone with the same position as you or near you, read theirs as well! It could provide you with some information about your surroundings I forgot to place in yours or help you build a better idea of the area so I don’t have to point out everything.]
*Alberto*
Being emptied out of a portal in the middle of night doesn’t usually bode well for the occupants of said portal. Case in point, the portal Alberto was deposited out of was quite a few feet in the air. However, sometimes people get lucky like, narrowly escaping the explosion that follows a person through a portal and landing on soft ground rather than the jagged rocks…like the ones that lay just two feet away.
Looking around Alberto would find that the terrain was bumpy and mostly rock and dirt. Ruins of a large stone structure lie before him and on his left, off a ways, lay a small city. Nothing else notable lay near him along with the dirt and rocks.
[Position: To the right of City D. About 1 miles away.]
*Beta*
Beta’s trip was a short one though. The trip barely lasted long enough for her to finish her sentence. The portal emptied her out into the ruins that lay before Alberto however she arrived at a space where she wouldn’t be able to see his entrance. Once again she would feel smooth ground beneath her and the dark sky above gave little light to show her surroundings. She would end up in a circular area that had once been the second story of a tower. Spiral steps lined the walls that had once led up and down the length of tower. Now they were but barely ten that would support even her weight. The rest were long gone. The walls themselves were barely even there half of the wall around her had been destroyed and the half behind her (the one that blocked visibility to Alberto’s position) had various holes in it.
If she were to look out, down, and around she would see various pieces of stone buildings lying in front of her. On one of the stone slabs that lay about she would just be able to spot the body of one demon hunter, Caelus Aelius, which was recently transported to the location near her, as he was coming to. The ruins looked, from up there, like a small castle that had once been there. She must have been in a watchtower of sorts. A few moments after she would have landed, Alberto’s portal opened and the explosion that followed her would have been audible from where she was. If she was to look to her left side and down a little she would also see a small city. Looking past the ruins and the hill that lie beyond them there were mountains in the distance.
[Position: To the right of City D. About 1 miles away.]
*Caelus Aelius*
Upon waking Caelus might have thought the castle he was just in exploded or something to a similar effect but upon looking around he would be able to note the ruins were indeed ruins. In front of him there was a watch tower of sorts that seemed to barely be standing and a large hole was in the second story area. There was a passageway that led inside but it was destroyed and rubble blocked the way inside and out.
Around him lay the remains of the castle. Pieces of walls lay in the dirt. If he was able to see past the large hill that lay behind him he would see mountains in the distance. To the right of the tower and off a little was a small city.
[Position: To the right of City D. About 1 miles away.]
*Aloraster*
Aloraster fell right through her own floor and onto another. She had landed in the bedroom of a young couple that was just settling into their sleep. As she landed she awoke them.
“By the sky, what is this?!” The young man exclaimed. The words came across in Aloraster’s native language with the true language of his words sounding lowly in the background. This world automatically translated foreign words into native languages for ease of the people coming in.
The couple looked obviously human but there was something that would make a newcomer think this was not their true form.
The male held a large stick in his hand, ready to strike if the need be.
“Be gone! “ He waved the stick threateningly.
The house lay on the outskirts of the City. Outside the ruins loomed half a mile away while the city was half a mile the other way.
[Position: To the right of City D. Half a mile away.]

*Beta*
The sudden shortness of what had looked to be an indefinite fall into oblivion caught the girl off-guard, but servos responded automatically as her feet connected with the parapet of the ancient ruins, knees bending to absorb the shock as ankles clamped down to keep the feet flat and avoid toppling the unit, bending at the waist to accommodate the change in posture for balance. It was the response of a well-trained, well-oiled body, experience - or rather programming - that her confused face didn't portray.
Beta's gaze swept back and forth and she caught a glimpse off to the side where there was no wall. Quickly, she hurried over and spotted Caelus on one of the slabs. She almost thought he was dead, but her sensors confirmed his life just shortly before he came around.
"Hey!" the child called down to the man, waving her hand above her head to try to get his attention. "Hey, Mr. Carbon! Do you know where we are?"

*Caelus Aelius*
Groaning, the demon hunter pulled his prone body off of the stone slab, still halfway out of sorts. He heard the voice of a girl in front of him, which brought him more or less back to reality, and brought the embarrassing memories of being humiliating caught in the final trap of his last enemy; apparently, the crazy megalomaniac was into bombs too -- wait, Carbon? After getting up properly, he ran one careful hand through his hair, picking out stray bits of debris, while another waved back to the girl as he started walking over to the tower she was located in.
"My name's Caelus Aelius, not Carbon! And, if I remember correctly, we're in the ruins of a castle that was full of demons not too long ago, though everything around here looks a lot older than it should. And, while we're asking questions, I'd like to know how you got into this castle. The guy who was squatting in it wasn't the type to kidnap people, especially not girls like yourself."

((Haha, Alberto...))
*Alberio*
Caught rather by suprise, suddenly finding himself not on solid ground, he fell and rolled a few times before coming to a stop face down on the ground. Rolling over to face up at the sky, Alberio gave a small chuckle, simply lying there for a few moments to revel in this moment of luck. Thats another win under his belt.
Sitting himself upright and crossing his legs, he took a survey of his new surroundings, noticing this'd probally be easier if he could see in the dark. A snap of his fingers and a blink later, there, that problem was solved. Looking about once more he could now tell he had ended up in some sort of ruins, not much else apparently besides what appeared to be a city quite a ways off. "Aaaaah," he let out a sigh, and leaned back to lie back down. "Well, all that hide and seek and magical teleporting to somewhere random wore me out. I wish that city was closer though."
A few more silent moments of lying in the dirt, of which were interrupted by a few sounds nearby which he couldn't quite make out as he wasn't paying much attention anyways, he finally picked himself up and stretched before dusting himself off. "Alright then," slipping his hands into his sleeves infront of him, "I suppose, afterall, I could use a nice meal. Oh, I hope I wasn't transported so far away that my money's no good." He lifted himself off the ground now, slowly floating upwards a few feet, incase those sounds he didn't bother decifering happened to be a wild animal or two, before lazily beginning to float towards the city at walking speed.

The girl looked back and forth in reply. "I'm not really entirely sure how I got here. I was in some ruins before, but they were very different. This is a Carbon ruin, nowhere near as old. And there wasn't anybody like you described at the last ruin I was in. Also, I can't seem to make contact with Eden. We're either out of range - which would place us on the other side of the galaxy from Sol - or somewhere else. I think I fell into some kind of anomaly. It could be that we're in some sort of pocket space created by the distortions of the anomaly. That would explain why I can't re-establish contact." Then, as if all her gibberish had been perfectly normal, she hopped off the parapet down to his level - despite the height and without any difficulties - and beamed up at him, offering her hand. "I'm Beta! It's a pleasure to meet you, Carbon Designate Caelus-Aelius!"

Blinking at the leap Beta had just made, Caelus started doing a bit of quick, eyes-into-the-distance rationalizing.
She keeps using those words. Eden? Carbon? Well, she's probably a half-demon. Give or take the stylish ones, like Dante, I've heard they can get pretty loopy. Wait, but what kind of name is Beta? Maybe another mad-scientist guy built her? But no, she's too human, and none of those guys were ever that smart anyway, and--ah, screw it. Style as sick as mine can't be spoiled by idle contemplation.
A quick shake of Beta's offered hand, which was human-feeling proved enough to convince the demon hunter that, at the very least, this girl was not a robot.
"Well, I think I can see a city that way. Let's go there, maybe somebody can tell us how we got here," Caelus said, pointing to what looked like a small city, a ways behind and to the right of the tower Beta had been occupying, though an oddly shaped bird appeared to be flying toward that city. Figuring it probably wasn't a demon, the blonde young man started walking towards the city, and by extension, it.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," Beta agreed, following along with the man. After a while of walking, she noted, "It's pretty dark. Do you need a light?" She didn't, of course. Her eyes had adjusted quickly into nightvision upon arrival, but as they went, she seemed to recall that Carbons required technical assistance to achieve such vision modes and this man didn't seem to have the goggles they used for such.

Realizing just how dark it was getting, Caelus nodded slowly, looking to the small, dark shadow that the demon hunter was pretty sure ought to be Beta, walking along next to him.
"Yeah; I think a flashlight or something would be good."
EDIT: Dialogue are be fixernated now, mhm.

(She's wearing a half-vest top and shorts over the jumpsuit.)
"Yup, I've got one!" she confirmed. She tapped her wrist as the gauntlet expanded and the top slid up, revealing one there that immediately lit up, spreading a bright beam ahead of them much like an LED flashlight. The light was also ambient enough to light up the two of them, as well, though not to such intensity. "There, is that better?"
