Dynasty Warriors...one certainly knows how to catch my attention. For those of you in the dark: ps3.ign.com/objects/873/873402.htmlwww.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/gundammusou/images.htmlgametrailers.com/player/21008.htmlgametrailers.com/player/22279.htmlgametrailers.com/player/20291.html <- looks like the difficulty is set a little low, eh? www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/gundammusou/index.html?tag=tabs;summaryKoei and Bandai are getting desperate. -_- I'm going to be blunt. I'm a Gundam fanboy. I'm a Dynasty Warriors fanboy. I love them both until death do I part. I do not believe you will find many who express such fanboy-ush squeals of delight when they announce new games for them both. As soon as I saw "Dynasty Warriors: Gundam", I had to do a double take and check to make sure my worst nightmares weren't coming true. Dynasty Warriors and Gundam are like cookies and orange juice: they taste great on their own, but try dunking that cookie in orange juice, and you've just forced millions of taste-buds to commit suicide. The same can be said of this game, really. The Dynasty warriors engine, while great for ancient Chinese epic battles and fighting styles, is not conducive to the futuristic warfare of Gundam. As a Gundam game, it fails miserably to deliver, especially when compared to more fluid games like Encounters in Space, or even Journey to Jaburo. On the flip-side, the Dynasty Warriors aspect of the game is very rudimentary, and reminisient (sp) more of DW3 than anything Koei has done recently, and doesn't resemble the classical Three Kingdoms setting of the franchise (remember, it's called Samurai Warriors and not Dynasty Warriors: Japan for a good reason). All in all, it'll probably leave most people in both fan bases really, really disappointed. I'm sorry, but no, I'm not really looking forward to it all too much. Quite the opposite actually; I'm shaking my head in shame on Koei's behalf; the only thing good to come from them lately has been Dynasty Warriors Online and that's not leaving Japanese shores it seems.

For a second there, I seriously thought Lu Bu+a Gundam from the tournament series vs Heero Yuy and his gundam. *Drools* But that fisrt video disappointed me in two ways: PS3 and no Lu Bu. I might have gotten it if it where on the Wii.

Wow, Donut returned for a bit.
Well, from what I've seen the game is missing something very important. GUNS! Look at those videos, why are they fighting up close? If you have guns, you use them. You never run up close for a fight if you have guns. Not to mention, the guns they have are long range. Really, in my opinon they should have atleast made a World War II game that ran on the same basisics of Dynasty Warriors.
(Please note, A World War II Dynasty Warriors was a refferance you should all get and I know it would most likley be a bad idea for reasons that shouldn't have to be listed seeing how you should know the history by know.)
