Baldur's Gate II

So, who still plays or has played Baldur's Gate II?

In my opinion the game is rather fun but has alot of reading which gets boring not to mention one has to multie task with all the characters.

However, the game is alot better with more people playing. With more people, you can have each person take control on a certain tactic of playing, such as one person magic, one person brute force, and the other support. Not to mention the game is easy to play (little to no lag) with not the greatist of connections, such as mine. Although it is a bit difficult to connect to one's computer, unless you have Hamachi which is makes it really easy to connect.

Times EJP is currently available for a game. (All California Time):
Monday and Wedsday: 4:30-6:30PM (I might be able to come back some time after 9:00 or 10:00PM)
Tuesday and Thursday: Just about anytime unless other wise stated... but only until 6:30PM or 8:00PM
Fridays: 1:30PM-2:00AM
Weekends: Just about anytime unless otherwise stated.

The thing you might wanna bring up is information on what patches and/or mods to have or not have. I probably won't be able to play with you because my copy has more mods than I dare count and removing them will anger people at my house. *Hack*Bro*Hack**Cough*

Well get ahold of me sometime EJP, all i gotta do is figure out hamachi, but then again ive never had a reason to learn so yea, you play the expansion too?

I don't have any mods and as for updates it would be easy to just get the latest one once. Shouldn't take me more than an hour to do so and I would try to do it sooner if I was told someone wanted to play the game at such and such time and date.

Everytime I've asked Ninmast, he said he wants to wait for his internet upgrade that has take a long time, hence this topic. As for me, just pick some time within what I posted and PM me. I'll update my game as soon as I can. Oh and just to warn you, I play as a paladin and I'm mostly a brute force kind of player.

Yes, you have to make sure that everyone has the same patch, or it won't work. Even if the version's just slightly off, it'll refuse to connect.

I have to reinstall the program, since I'm on a new computer, but I'll get the patch link for everyone as soon as I'm done. I'll also try to find Hamachi.

You can download Hamachi, a virtual private network that makes it easier to connect for such games, here. I'd like to see how XFire works with it, too, if any of you have it and want to see if it'll work.
