Name: Lietan
Place of Origin: Ayna-Sade, the First Ring, the Acs
Distinguishing Characteristics: A cerebral race much smaller and more finely built than the Veidrodis of the Seventh Ring, Lietans are the human-like creatures of Ayna-Sade. Their limbs are long and dainty, and indeed they seem very fragile at first glance; this assumption, however, is incorrect—most Lietans are quite capable of handling themselves. With an affinity for such things as music and free thought, these petit creatures (Petit in comparison to Veidrodis) may be called “New Age”-like. Their voices are very musical, and tend to carry elaborate accents filled with trills and rolls; this for some reason seems to make them very charismatic and easy to get along with. Nevertheless, many people find Lietans strange or unsettling to be around…Perhaps it’s the sense that they know more than they tell, or more than they should…
Unique Abilities: If Veidrodis are the physical, technological race, the Lietan are the somewhat clichéd magical one. Of the seven races of the Rings of Ayna-Sade they are the only ones with the magic to cross between worlds, and as such they have high authority with races like the Veidrodis, who need Lietans for the business of slave-trading. Thus, while Lietans fully support the idea of democracy, outside of their own Ring they have an influence that makes them seem like monarchs; even races who hate and openly scorn them will bow to Lietan authority in order to gain passage to other worlds or keep essential businesses alive. They are not without abilities outside of politics, though; the Lietan race, while physically weak, has a profound talent for magic and other arts.
History: How the races of Ayna-Sade came about is a mystery. The world itself has not been extensively studied, and only minimal knowledge has been gained by researchers: the individual races of the rings are not eager to give out much of their past. Lietans, while far friendlier than races like the Veidrodis, only smile and laugh when questioned. Information has surfaced, but it’s rather general, applying not only to Lietans but to all of the races of Ayna-Sade—which, although it answers no specific questions, is interesting information nonetheless.
None of the races of Ayna-Sade are human. None of them have ever been human. Their origin was neither infernal nor divine. Their bodies do not evolve. They worship no gods. The different races of the Rings were not created all at once.
Further attempts to discover something of Lietan history, or even more on the races of Ayna-Sade in general, generates only amused laughter in the ones being asked. It’s best not to question past this point.

Name: Xellotath
Place of Origin: They come from a world they call Xello, but it's long since been destroyed before the onset of human history.
Distinguishing Characteristics: Naturally, their elders are spiritual entities represented by flecks or orbs of light. Their warriors are crystaline in structure and seem to be alternatingly bipedal and quadrupedal. After gathering data on local life, other units can be generated with local bioforms in mind.
Unique Abilities: Their attributes are as varied as their forms. Their warriors' claws are razor-sharp and their hide is rock-hard. The ancients are wise and intelligent, and while they hold no physical form, they are potent psionists. They also have a very advanced culture, and on the long journey away from their dead planet, they stored all their people, as we would understand it, "digitally." You can destroy their bodies, but you cannot truly destroy them unless you erase them from the data reservoir they are stored on.
History: The Xellotath are a race of scientists and explorers, or they were. They went extinct roughly 75 million years ago when their planet became uninhabitable due to natural, and unfortunately unavoidable circumstances. They made an attempt to flee to the stars, but they lacked the resources to find a new home, and gradually died out.
Supposedly, anyway. One vessel ended up way off course when its navigation system finally went offline, and it crashed in a distant system on the edge of the galaxy, on a world rife with volcanic activity and tectonic movement. Its living crew long since dead, there was nothing to tend to it, and it was eventually buried under tons and tons of lava, sediment and soil. The location of its crash landing remained its grave for millions of years until it was unearthed in an archaeological dig into the prehistoric levels of the Earth.
To judge from the damage, one could only assume it was a wrecked vessel, but despite the years, the interior remained surprisingly intact. Many seals remained fastened and the time period it crashed in prevented ravaging by animal life or decrepification by plant life. Many circuits remained intact, and soon, it was only a matter of supplying power. The moment it was supplied and the scientists managed access to the ship's data banks, they discovered the storage of the aliens. But a malfunction had occurred during all those years, and the first ones out were crazed and homicidal.
The ravages this first wave brought on the survivors made them think the entire race was hostile, but one of the aliens who manifested still maintained their sanity and was able to convince them otherwise. As time went on, the outbreak was able to be controlled, and it was found that the large majority of the aliens were unaffected. They took positions and helped the humans on the ship, assimilating their biology so they would be able to function in the same manner as the primary sentient race. Soon, these co-workers, though they outnumbered the humans on the project dramatically, were treated no differently, accepted at least by the humans they worked with as equals. Together, they work to try to mend the damage the ravages of time and space have wrought on the biological data banks in the hopes of curing their still-insane brethren.

Name: Qualonians - Before " The Fall "
Place of Origin: The Qualonians are born on the Planet of Qualon that exists in an alternate Dimension.
Distinguishing Characteristics: The Qualonians have an increased Intelligence, as opposed to other races, or what we now consider the human norm, though psionic abilities were never able to be obtained without altering their natural brain state. Other than this they are quite normal, and most happen to like organizing.
Unique Abilities: Other than an extreme knowledge of technology, they really are normal.
History: ( VERY Basic overview/summary of the First 1/3rd or so of the history of Qualon.)
There existed a void in the beginning of all thing, where creatures of vast power resided. For eons and centuries at times they would go about their business and just be there, until two brothers (twins) decided to play a game of creation, and set off to create time and the laws of which the game would be set in. They created a universe set apart from the void, so that others wouldn't steal their fun.
They then created a planet (later know as Qualon after its creators), and made beings to play with. They gave the beings free will and let them play out a short time, they called life. The first beings were too perfect and were called a failure, as they were not entertaining. the next were called humans, an impossibly imperfect species. They gave the human increased knowledge to speed up what would happen. They decided to stay out of the lives of humans, and let the world they created play out.
Humans, in their almost infinite knowledge created cities and continents in the sky, and ruled the world outside the boundaries of the land. Then war broke out and sensing impending doom on their toys, the Qualon twins wiped the world of technology and the increased intelligence of humans and gave them power to wield a world they couldn't see, a world of magic. (This total destruction of the world of technology and intelligence was later call "The Fall") They then decided to take a step into their lives, to insure that this would not happen again.

Distinguishing Characteristics: The Qualonians have a normal intellect and are a natural High-tier Low (3) in power as they have small magic abilities. (ability to create things such as breezes of air to cool them, and ice and water from nothing. They do not naturally have the ability to create vast amounts of each though.)
Unique Abilities: Other than their power of magic, they are pretty normal.
History: ( VERY Basic overview/summary of the Second 1/3rd or so of the history of Qualon.)
During "The Fall" the great cities and continents fell from the sky and crashed to the ground, significantly decreasing the human population to about 1/8 th of its previous number. During the harsh years to follow, the people somehow managed and with the help of the now present Qualon twin gods to help the population soon revolved itself. The times to follow that were good, though an impending threat soon appeared when the doorway to the universe was breached and another void being, planning to take over the world for his own pleasure tried to come into the midst of the twin's game. The first Qualon twin, fought him back before he fully entered the universe and then exited the universe himself to seal it, leaving his brother alone to govern their world that they now began to take a liking to, but promising to return.
Over time the second twin became worried and decided to go check on his brother, leaving word to the people that they both would return someday, and gave five extraordinary strong humans the power of gods, to govern the world until him and his brother's return. The first four years were quiet and peaceful but soon the relationship between the new gods became rocky and the "Turbulent Times" began.

During this time of war known as the "Turbulent Times" (or TT) the gods began fighting for power, all wanting the others. There was a rule in place that if a god was killed his/her power would be transfered into his/her killer, so that the balance would remain. It all began when the goddess of night and darkness wanted her sister's power, goddess of day and light, to challenge the god of neutrality (highest of power). She tricked the god of the mystic arts into helping her and in the end she was cast into oblivion (pretty much an abyss where she later ruled) and the god of mystic arts was given her spot (he later married her sister of light and day), leaving the god of skill and strength alone at the bottom, for he never took part of the war.
Becoming angry that he wasn't rewarded with more power for staying out of the war, he schemed with the goddess of darkness and night in Oblivion and they bother rebelled against the higher gods, causing the period know as the "Second coming" During their first strike they killed the goddess of day and light and her sister gained her power, then she in turn killed the god of skill and strength and gained his power, more than enough needed to over take the god of the mystic arts, which she did. Holding all of the power she approached the god of neutrality and in a massive fight destroyed him. Though weakened and in the midst of battle she forgot about the humans, and in her moment of victory was struck dead by two (twins) of the heroes who wanted to end the war of gods, that was devastating their lands. These twins were said to be the reincarnation of the Qualon gods. Her power was given to the two twins who later ruled as the new gods until the return of the real Qualon twins.
(So, ends the first book of Qualon. There is another story of Qualon: AR, but that would be later on and deals with the first part of the history.)

Name: Nobs (pronounced knobs)
Place of Origin: This species origionated during the first Human expansion to planets beyond this solar system. Particularlly a small moon of an orbiting celestial body now deemed "Zero planet."
Distinguishing Characteristics: Nobs are human sized creatures that are very independant from one another. Most of them tend to lead out their life preferring to not be around another of their species, almost like a ntural distyaste for one another, perhapse a self racism if you will. They are slow to organize, which explains why they have never had a united war in their history (they can't agree on anything to fight about.) They tend o be heavily attracted to other specias rather than their own, now able to leave their planet they find other places to live in the universe alongside humans and other species.
Males of the species and females of the species are different in how they operate, females can change their skin color and texture (which is usually un usually smoothe and in colorful diamond patterns) to suit their wishes. Females are usually unable to hold as many fcts as the males but their common sense is spot on. Females also have a long "tail" extending from the back of their head and down the length if this outcropping is determined by the enviornment in which they live but this is only is't stationary length, the tail itself can extend for roughly three miles. Many times females will grow their hair as long at their tail in order to hide it from plain view. Females typically have enhanced strength also, some even outfitted with high level telekinesis. Males of the species are one solid color and their skin has a scaly feel to it. They are more fact oriented in their thinking and will not heitate to follow the law to the letter. Males cannot change their skin color and do not have enhanced strength, but males can make pacts with certain monsters and the like they find in their travles by letting the creature taste it's blood, at any time he can then summon these creatures and control them easily. A male Nob's endurance is rediculously hightened, they can take a direct hit from a nuclear warhead going full speed and only end up with several scratches, maybe a gash or two.
Unique Abilities: I accidently covered it already.
History: In truth the creation of this species happened completely by accident.
Humans were exploring reaches of space of which they had never seen before when they decided to land on an intresting looking moon, this moon was orbiting a planet that had large amounts of salt water so they wanted to check and see if the moon's had a very signifiicant effect on the water. After landing the astronaughts discovered that there was in fact breathable air on the moon, it seemed it had creatyed a mineature atmosphere full of oxygen. After completing their tests the astronaughts decided that it was time to leave, little did they know that their dead skin cells had provided the mold for a new species to take shape. The special bacteria in the moon (some think this is an enhanced form of bacteria that was believed to have started life on Earth) had taken the DNA of the humans and begun to make a new species, within Weeks Nobs were popping up all over the place, all wishing they could get off that rock and on to a better place.

Name: Bone Demon
Place of Origin: The Burning Plains of the Demon Realm/Hell
Distinguishing Characteristics: They are of a humanoid form and covered in an armor of hyper- densified bone. The bone is so rigid that is is sectioned into plates to allow movement; however, that also creates small weak points on their bodies. Each one has a unique bony crest adorned on its forehead. the more intricate the design, the older and more powerful the demon is.
Unique Abilities: They have greatly enhanced physical attributes. They also have an increased understanding in most arcane arts. they can take on a human form in which their abilities are somewhat dulled. They also possess a certain charm about them that makes them excellent talkers and monarchs. History: They were one of ther first races of demon to be born from the Eternal Flame of the Burning Plains. Due to their superior wit and charm, they soon took charge of the others and created a monarchy. They built the Chrystaline Throne upon which the Demon King sits, and have likewise ruled over the demons since they created it.

Name: Hetaric
Place of Origin: A forest world which is given no name by either the Hetaric of any other beings that come to cut down the trees that are said to be full of wealth.
Distinguishing Characteristics: They are all human like, but the only way to tell the difference between any human like being and a Hetaric, is the Hetaric has thin vines that grow in their hair at birth to help measure the moisture in the atmosphere.
Unique Abilities: their forms shift based on how much moisture is in the air.
If they go into an area too high in moisture, like a forest, or a area that just got rained on, they turn into a being called an aluroe, a being that top half is human like, but bottom half is a huge plant with black and red petals, with a coiled up vine underneath to help them move by bouncing around.
If there is too little moisture in the air, like a desert or a heatwave, their hair turns brown, and for the females vines wrap around their chest, acting like a tube top, males go shirtless. the females grow flower petals out of their waist that would go down to act as an ankle long skirt, the males keep their pants. for both, vines would wrap around their arms from the elbow up, making them look like clubs, and five thorns on each one would substitute as fingers
History: the race has been very secretive that they have their homes hidden in the trees on their world. They all only plant eaters, and they all are ruled by a mother tree spirit. the way they are born are by the thousands apon thousands of flower buds on the inside of the tree get pollinated by bees that live on the world, and out of the flower buds come a baby of their kind

Name: Meso Charian [Mezo-Carian]
Place of Origin: Carinth - Parallel Dimention
Distinguishing Characteristics: All Meso usually possess inverted eyes, in which the retina is black while the iris is white. All possess dark hair, commonly Black or Dark Blue. Most are glum, and their world reflects it, with usually dark colors cosisting of gray, black, and blood red.
Unique Abilities: Meso's are commonly skilled in close quarters combat, and have possesion[sp?] of either light or darkness. Most Meso's follow the path of Darkness, but royalty has manipulation of both. Since only Royalty may have these powers, anyone else who have possessed both have been slaughtered or somehow disappeared without a trace. Meso are infamous for their sword smithery. They also seem to have a superior aging system, where Meso's are believed to live for hundreds upon hundreds of years.
History: Meso history starts with the civilization of our own when man discovered knowledge, and how to use it. Philosophers had predicted a parallel dimention to their own, but could not be proven. Sophocles, Plato, and Aristotle had wondered about the end of the earth, and possible beginning of a new world nobody could imagine. It seemed they were close, but couldn't grasp the magnitude of their estimations.
The Meso world of Carinth was at peace with itself. No war, no tyranny, no Evil. Their political system was dependent of Monarchy, with a Queen, but no King. Her name was Queen Gammak, and she ruled the land with a kind heart, and pompous additude.
She led the Meso race for a hundred years before a man finally found her heart, and fell in love with her. She eventually fell in love with him, but he was but a low-class citizen. A forbidden love had become, and two years had passed before anyone found out about them. The Queen was put on trial by the counsil and found guilty of some law she had not heard about, and the man was found guitly and executed. The Queen then returned to power, and led her civilization into great technology, some of which gave them access to space and even beyond. She utilized Energy to power her inventions. After another hundred years, she gave birth to a son, which she kept to herself. Even though it was from a forbidden love, she hid this son and let a lower-class family adopt him.
Anyway, this massive race kept on pushing the limit of their station, and had finally created a device for passing into alternate realms, but this technology quickly became forbidden, and was not to thought of again.
It seemed that the Meso were really never heard from again, the legend goes as if they were destroyed by their own devices, or the realm simply could sustain them anymore.
( It sucks, but I don't care. xD )

Gaiaian – (Gai-anns)
Advanced in the means of technology and due to the rule of their emperor, they are highly orderly and disciplined. Order is upheld to the simplest rule. Only few radicals had appeared in Gaia’s history, but they were quickly squashed, yet a new surge has started and this one will not be quelled so quickly.
Gaiaians have a great understanding of how things work and tend to manipulate their surrounding with what some might call magic but the gaiaians know it as science.
Gaiaians are generally just like humans.
Edenians – (Eh-dee-anns)
Working with the perfect planet, they have learned to co-exist with nature and usually are kind hearted. They all live together and have a single ruler name the seer. He is their decider and makes sure harmony is upheld. A new generation is rising and the closeness to Gaia is affecting the new generation, soon there will also be an uprising here too.
Edenians are usually skinny and tall.
The Elict – (E-Lick)
These people were born on the moon that the two planets Gaia and Eden revolve around. Little is known of their race, mostly due to the fact that it is hidden well underground and guarded by a great power they have.
Their skin is darker from living underground yet still lighter than what most people would think of someone in their placement.
Edennians (E-dee-nee-anns) – The formation of this planet at the end of the great war brought about peace to the warring planets. With EL at the core of the new world, the power of focus is given to all who are born here as well as a greater understanding of nature and how it works and how to live in harmony with it. A select few know how to use the lost technology scattered throughout the old lands. Most have knowledge of how to use the new technology.
Their appearance is a mixture of all of the above.

Special Abilities:
Gaiaians – Have great knowledge of everything there is, yet sometimes lacks common sense. They also have produced superiorly advanced technology.
Edenians – Can command the obedience of their surroundings and use it however they like.
Elict – Posses a power known as Focus and it varies with it user, all people of El (the moon) posses this power (something to do with the moon itself and the area they usually reside in). There are three stages to the power:
(You must go progress through stage one to reach stage two and so on to stage three)
1. Generally known as primal stage. This amplifies their natural focus ability as well as their physical abilities, but reverts their brains to a primal stage. One with strong willpower will be able to control their minds in this form but it is highly unlikely. Usually used by the strong willed and others as a last resort. It is hard to perform this stage due to the need to lock the brain and unlock muscles and enhancement of their powers. 2. Known as the wisdom stage because the brain becomes completely unlocked and the body becomes alert, an extra sense is gained, and the focus ability is progressed into the next stage. The body looses mass but become swifter and more agile seeming to defy gravity. Only few in the short history of El have been able to obtain this stage. 3. Soul form – A last stage rumored to exist. There is a great cost of using this for and obtaining it. It is said to shatter the body binding the soul to the universe, allowing it to alter reality at the seams, yet seeing as the soul is bound in symbiosis with the universe; it will slowly fade into nothingness. The more the soul alters reality, the quicker it fades. There is an old prophecy of woman who will reach this level and bring two broken worlds together, to converge on one.
Edennians – While all are born with Focus it depends on their location and their ancestors if they will either have the ability to control nature (to an extent) or not; or if they will have a increased brain capacity and reflexes. Eddennians are more likely to be able to reach the second stage, making the first stage easier to obtain. ----------
Bonus Info –
Gaia – Wasteland of earth. Toxic fumes permeate the atmosphere and this was caused by weapons testing.
Eden – Planet that is filled with clear, clean water and lush green; a paradise from a modern world.
Elict – Like most moons it is rocky and resembles a asteroid. Underneath the surface is a vast system of tunnels and cities.
Edennia – 3/5 of the planet belongs to Eden while the other 2/5 is of Gaia. The terrain is bumpy and only a few places are flat, these being the main cities

Eden is rather already taken. Also, your race bears some disturbing similarities to IAns, in that they all have such total power or knowledge. In addition, the whole mess sounds suspiciously like the groundwork for a messianic character of godlike proportions.
I'll be blunt. I don't like it.

Name: Arkannoids
Place of Origin: Arcanaris [Dead planet with scattered debis around the universe.]
Distinguishing Characteristics: They are humanoid with their first noticed feature being their pale blue skin. They have varioulys colored feline eyes. They have excellent physical builds from generations of laboring to clear-cut their planet.
Unique Abilities: They are all telepathic/ telekinetic. They have enhanced speed and strength double that of humans because of their physical prowess.
History: Arcanaris was originally a highly forrested planet. The Arkannoids had to cut trees downto make room for their ever-expanding population. The built spherical buldings held in the air by long stems and wide bases. They soon developed a heaven-like planet which was thenevy of a near-by war planet.
The other species tried to take over but were met with force. they were farther advanced in weapons and broke Arcanaris to pieces in a missle barrage. The planet would hav survived if it weren't for the absence of the trees.

Place of Origin:This is a race I believe could exist in any world with vampires present.
Distinguishing Characteristics:This race would look much like a human but would in fact be kind of like a Venus fly-trap in reverse for a vampire. Like a vampire this race has a special enzyme in their blood but instead of it not letting them produce blood, it causes them to mass produce blood at an alarming rate. This race much like a vampire lives forever and does not need anything but blood to keep it alive. The only problem is this race produces to much blood and need a vampire to suck out the excess blood. (Sort of a win, win deal.) To lure the vampires into biting them this race an unnaturally tasty blood for vampires and they also produce a scent that makes them incredibly temping for a vampire to bite. Since this race doesn't really need anything but it's heart and lungs the live (Heart to move blood and lungs to get oxygen to the blood) The rest of thier organs have adapt into sort of blood holding devices. Each organ has special arteries and vein running from them that can close and open at the persons will so that the race can go longer without having to have a vampire bite them. If this race gets to getting to full of blood and there are no vampires around they can inject blood into humans through their fang in their mouth, but since this is much less effective and takes a long time they usually look for vampires to do it for them.
Unique Abilities:This race would be slightly stronger and faster than a vampire just in case the vampire tries to kill them. They also have the ability to send a electric current through themselves to stimulate the enzymes to produce blood faster (In case a vampire is about to drain them dry.) and to stimulate the enzymes in a unwilling vampire to send them into a blood craze.
History:This is a race that I think would have evolved to survive in a world with vampires in it.

Name: Bebilair(s)
Place of Origin: Earth/ The Abyss
Distinguishing Characteristics: With dark blue, violet or black scaled skin, bebilairs are between six to eight feet tall. They have four spider-like legs and four arms, the upper set each ending in a pair of scorpion-like claws, the bottom arms ending in human-like hands. They have beedy, bug-like red eyes with sharp pincers on the sides of their mouth, with two small holes on either side of their head in place of ears.
Unique Abilities: Bebilairs are can spit short lines(15ft) of acid that can burn through most any natural substance. Also, due to their lack of vocal cords, Bebilairs have telepathy, which they can use to talk to any other creature (including animals or insects).
History: A race of half-breed demon-hunters, bebilairs were created from an attempt to clash human DNA with that of Demon-Eater (Bebilith*). These demon-like creatures are hunters that will attack any living creature that would make a promising meal. Often looked at as outcasts by their human kin and eaten by their demon-hunting kin, bebilairs show little simpathy to other races and take care to avoid others of their race until they need to mate and carry on their species, in which case they part ways shortly after the mating. Bebilairs are generally heartless by nature.
*Bebiliths are copy right of Dungeons and Dragons.

Distinguishing Characteristics: The average Drestians adorns blueish skin and glowing crimson eyes. Casual black hair on hair, but also have trenches or gaps on their forehead and along their jaw line. Many similarities between Drestian's and Human occure, such as bi-pedal bodies, and fragile skeletons. Much is also different as well; Larger brain cavity's, and slightly denser calcium structures. An average Drestians stands about Five feet, eleven inches, while others tend to be around six foot.
Stage 1 - 'Dystio' The first stage of life for a Drestian begins as a 'Dystio'. Miniture figures of their adult appearance, but highly estatic and optimistic. All Dystio must graduate school and military camp with high honors to pass into their adult state.
Stage 2 - 'Alore' Adult life as a Drestian is not easy. Being of a mature age allows them more rights, but their goal ultimately is serve the species, and do as much as you can before the third state. They tend to serve the foundation of the government as much as possible, and have little time to themselves.
Stage 3 - 'Invinca' The final stage that Drestians have explored. After thousands of years, they have finally mastered Death, and can convert their bodily energy into pure energy. After the body has died, an 'Alore' will bring it to the Sanctum of Rebirth, a reasonably sized complex in which sole goal is to rebirth the life into a plasmatic form. Later experiments revealed that these forms cannot manipulate physical matter, but once engaged into a specialized suit, can resume life once again. It is believed that once Invinca is attained, immortality is reached. These plasma like fields can be neutralized through technological means.
Unique Abilities:
Through countless experimentation, and prototype recalibration, the Dread have finally constructed the 'Hive Mind' in which can hook up every Drestian's mind to a single network, and feed information across the universe if needed. Every individual that is a supporter of Drestia is connected to this device, and it acts as a hub for communication, transported for input and output. The Master Mind, who controls the Hive Mind is usually the current leader of parliment, and is accordingly worshipped as a God.
Planet sized Warships, Assault Carriers, and Battleships have been researched and are being built to accomidate the Military Might needed for thier goal of universal knowledge and alliances.
Robotics and construction is well under the belt of Drestia, and are currently outstretching their rule to other systems for recalibration and alliances.
History:
When man was still in it's primitive state, the Drestians were well into their road of construction and masterful intentions. However long roads ahead were for these scholors. By the time the Drestians were united under one flag, the domination of the giant reptiles on earth were becoming extinct, and dying out quickly.
A single researcher by the name of Ferrious Gerrious drew out the plans for the first Mega-Structure for Drestia to build, but it took over two hundred years to complete. The Invention Matrix. This facility, the size of an entire Industrial Sector would expand the mind of the user, and bring in foreign thoughts to inspire new and more efficient ways to calculate logic.
It didn't take long for the entire species to fall in under the rules of the new government set up and practiced by the Matrix itself. The people yurned for new hope, one of the New Empire, but freedoms of the Democrats. This sparked a new light, and larger, more complex structures would be accomidated for the rapid acceleration of the species. It seemed that this new light would continue, and construction would not stop.
Surrounding the planet in the form of a belt, asteriods orbitted. However, to supliment their resources, they began to mine these rocks. Full of frozen fuel, minerals needed for construction, and even metals; they were found valuable to the war machine known as the Dread Lords.
Recent turn has speculated that the Dread Lord Industrial Machine has been spotted on other worlds, gathering information, technology and even making alliances with some of the more worthy species. Observing earth from the paralell galaxy, and moving in to make first contact with their goal.
Military has been ranked, and tiered for special operations.
Class X Acoylt; Lowest rank of the military, used for mere cannon fodder. All of them are lightly armed battle droids, and recon vessels.
Class Y Tyrue; Field Officers that give orders to Acoylt divisions and make sure that every enemy is killed or taken into prisonment. All are medium armed Wardroids or 'Alore' staged Drestians.
Class Z Ratler: The most powerful of warriors that Drestia has to offer. Most of these units are heavily armed and armored, but are barely seen other than on the surface of the Drestia Palace itself. These warriors are ruthless, and are programmed to kill. One is said to wipe an entire city out with little effort.
Class W Ullison; Elite Soliders that have seen War, and have the experiance to take special orders directly from the 'Hive Mind'. Can be outfitted with numerous weapons. All are heavily armed War-droids or 'Invinca' stage Drestians.
Class T Piote; Speciallty trained Drestian or Acoylt that pilot most of the ships that Drestia has manifactured. They see little battle outside their ships, and thus respect the other classes effeciently.

Name: Overns
Place of Origin: Overn
Distinguishing Characteristics: Overns are humanoid appearing beings that are fairly larger than humans. They stand on average several feet taller than humans and can weigh between one and two tons. They're appearance seems to very from all different kinds of skin tones, hair colors, and other characteristics. They're outside appearance is also subject to change through their lives on a very large timescale.`
Unique Abilities: Overns are immortal, and invincible to all but the most powerful of forces. They contain a massive amount of power that in a single power-packed blow can crack the crust of planets down to their mantle. They are also capable of a faster than light interstellar travel.
History: Overns are extremely powerful immortal beings. Because of their lifespans, the Overn had a very different take on the way of the universe. Mortal life was not respected nor disrespected - no tears were shed over the loss of a mortal life, as most mortal lifespans were inconsequential seconds to Overns. Whether or not they died at 30 or at 130 made as much difference to them as whether a fly was swatted down or merely died naturally hours later. Mortal being, due to their constant struggle for survival, were deemed poorly suited for their life of philosophy and cosmological thinking as they were constantly preoccupied.
The Overns differed in many key ways. They lacked the basic instincts most life evolved with, such as the need to reproduce, the need to survive, the need to acquire wealth. Since they did not evolve at all, they had none of these qualities, but rather only wished to find meaning in existence. Reproduction was a rare event, granted as a reward to those who had reached a high degree of prodigious accomplishment. The need to accumulate wealth was absent since the Overns had no needs at all to survive. The experiences of the Overns were not of hardship and war, but of thought development and elevation, and scientific advancement.

Name: Korag
Place of Origin: The planet Belustia of the Corlinian System, the fourth planet from their sun.
Distinguishing Characteristics: While particular attributes, such as build, height, weight and such, may change based on individual preferences, they are lizardlike in appearance, possessing scales and a cold-blooded biological system. Facial features are typically humanoid, though this is suspected by outsiders to be by choice rather than by their original genetics, given their trade. They possess opposable thumbs, but only three fingers and they possess a bipedal body structure.
Unique Abilities: The Korag are masters of genetic manipulation and frequently alter such of themselves and their servants like we change hair styles or redecorate.
History: The Korag are something of an old race in the universe and are well-traveled, though they rarely trade with other races. Instead, they have a massive internal slave trade. It is highly illegal to make a slave out of another Korag. The only slight exception to this is with the case of criminals, in which they serve a temporary sentence much like community service if their crime wasn't severe enough to warrant death. The Korag have no actual prisons. Punishment is either servitude or execution.
Slaves are taken from races outside the Korag Empire, varying in all sorts and even including some humans, though these are often considered the least of value because of their lack of strength or intelligence in comparison to some other races. Still, they see their uses, and in some cases, are even highly sought after for their rarity on the market.
The Empire, itself, is ruled by a single emperor, who has complete executive authority in all matters. Under him is an efficient judicial network that deals with enforcing his laws. To bring criminals to justice, they employ a force of military police that are well-equipped and well-trained for the job. The culture, while not forbidding females from filling any position save Emperor, is strongly patriarchal.
The society, itself, has multiple levels existing in a flexible caste system. None but slaves are limited to a single one, but while in one, their authority is set.
Emperor: The Emperor, always male, has complete and total authority in all things. It is a proverb in Korag society that even one's destiny is altered by his whim. This position is generational, moving from father to son, but this often takes generations in and of itself, as the Emperor has extensive genetic alteration to prolong his life and often steps down out of a desire to retire from the position rather than handing the throne over through death. The present Emperor has ruled for 213 Earth years. There is no empress, as the Korag are not a marital society.
Judge: The judges that make up the Korag judicial system are second in authority only to the Emperor, himself, and one can only be overruled by two or more judges or by the word of the Emperor. Any judge abusing his or her power must answer directly to the Emperor, who to date has never been forgiving for such an act.
Military Police: The mighty arm of Korag law, they serve both as the military and as the law enforcement, well-equipped and numerous. Rarely is it that they do not get their man, and this only because the wanted one fled the empire, entirely. To them, this is just as good as getting them and less of a burden on the system, so they are rarely pursued beyond the Empire's borders.
Hunters: These are the slave traders of the Empire. They are the ones that go and gather beings of other races to enter the slave circulation. They rarely make themselves openly known to the other races, typically just going in and picking up some before taking off again. This also means that they rarely take many from a single place at a single time to avoid drawing attention to the abduction.
Foreman Select: Always male, he presides over the laboring slaves, those who do labor as their service. This includes everything from heavy manufacturing to mining and construction. It is his job to organize them for jobs, to set their objectives, quotas and times and to make sure their housing and care is adequate.
Madame Select: Always female, she presides over the performing slaves, those who do their service by providing entertainment for the Korag. These are commonly dancing girls, skit actors and court jesters. It is her job to make sure they are prepared for their performances and that their needs are tended to.
Civilians: Civilians really have no particular authority of note socially over other Korag, and these usually just run their own little shops or something of the like.
Slaves: The very bottom of the social ladder and comprised entirely of alien species, slaves do almost all of the actual work. Anything a Korag does is either as punishment for a crime or simply because they want to do so. It's estimated that slaves outnumber the actual Korag population by three to one. There are three subcategories of slaves.
Workers: Worker slaves provide the manual labor, such as mining, construction, maintenance and factory work. Because of the strength of body required, these are almost entirely male, though on a rare occasion, a particularly hardy female will be placed there. All worker slaves serve under the Foreman Select, who chooses managers and the like from their ranks.
Performers: Performer slaves provide the entertainment for Korag society, such as dancing, music, acting and even some massage work. Because of the dexterity and grace often required, and that most males are placed as Worker slaves, the Performer slaves are almost exclusively females. They serve under the Madame Select, who oversees who performs what and where.
Converts: Converts are the lowest of the low, even among slaves. Deemed for whatever reason to be fit for neither workers nor performers, they are instead destined to spend the rest of their lives as personal servants, often cooks, maids, waiters, or an occasional lucky personal assistant.
Upon being deemed unfit for the two major slave classes, a Convert is sent for alteration, the first step of which is the immediate removal of their reproductive organs. They are then genetically altered to be as androgynous as absolutely possible, so that it is impossible to distinguish male from female, and in reference, a convert is actually referred to as an it. The basic Convert appears as natural in feminine clothing as in masculine clothing and can be customized by the owner to lean toward one or the other as they desire. Generally speaking, however, whether it be by appearance or even by voice, it is impossible to discern if a Convert might have once been male or female. The removal of gender and sexual tension as distractions actually permits a Convert better focus and logic, but this rarely sees great use due to their position.
Additional alterations, both cybernetic and genetic, give additional changes, including removing the ability to sweat or excrete, as these are considered by Korag to be vile and disgusting. Sweating in the presence of a Korag is as disgusting to them as urinating in a public fountain, and since Converts are expected to work in close proximity to them, this has long since been considered a must-have feature. Instead, all waste is broken down inside the body and recycled in its entirety. Finally, they are purchased by Korag or kept in the general depository where they serve the Emperor and his officials.
Convert en Passant: Literally, Convert in Passing. On an extremely rare occasion, a Convert shows impressive qualities after already being sorted. These are given special roles depending on the qualities, including technicians, scientists and even a rare advisor. In such cases, their social status as slaves is overruled while applying to their specific duty. Also, and somewhat more frequent, one will become a Convert in the process of moving from one role to another. This is also called by the same name, but is a temporary status and does not result in a raising of social status. While a convert, this second sort still serves among other converts, even though it is only temporarily so.
