"Not where he is," Lucas answered. "He's pretty out of the way. As for noticing him missing, in the middle of a battle, it's unlikely, but if anyone does, it could only serve to disorient the enemy."

Jake nodded as time went back into operation. The bow strings went off harmlessly with a twang as the viera stared at their weapons in bewilderment. Farrah almost fell over laughing, holding her sides in desperation as she wheezed out "you forgot the arrows, you forgot the arrows!"
Cassandra let out a dark smirk. "My gosh, you girls are so stupi- OH MY GOD!" Cassandra interrupted herself with a yell as she pointed to where Rensik used to sit. She immediately clung to Shark, who happened to be the most readily available person to jump on. "My kiss didn't just debilitate Rensik, it vaporised him!"

But Lucas just smirked. "Nah, he jumped clear. He's probably making his way around behind you slavers now." His grin widened. "I've seen that guy cut through thirty plated men before they knew he had struck," he bluffed, "and now, he's somewhere behind all of you, and you're unarmed and dressed in something out of a playboy catalog. You're history."
