"I'm fine." Both Colin and Cassandra answered simultaneously, never taking their eyes off of eachother.
"You know." Colin said. "With those wide eyes, you look so unbelieveably kissable right now."
"Thanks..." Cassandra said quietly. "I was almost expecting you to do more than say that."
"That'd be sorta inappropriate, wouldn't it?" Colin asked. "I don't know what sort of affect that'd have on you."
"I'd probably go with it." Cassandra said. "But then I'd slap you for not realising that you don't know what sort of affect that kiss would have on me."
Colin grinned. "So, what tipped me off?"
"Adrahms was what Amelia suggested for our Clan name." Cassandra said. "And it would've been it, too, if I hadn't have blurted out Masfem at the last second."

"Or maybe it is." Cassandra said. "Maybe we're being manipulated by multiple third parties, a different third party for each person. Heck, for all we know, all of our actions are being manipulated by people our age over the internet...."

"Actually..." Colin said. "That would make sense. I mean, do you ever notice that sometimes when you're traveling a long distance, it's almost as if part of the trip gets cut out?" The boy frowned in thought and then shrugged. "Maybe it's just me."
