The catgirl tilted her head in confusion. "What place was I looking for?"

"Well, you never said it, but I guessed you might have been looking for some humans to interact with. It's not the area I'm going to so it's safe. I just figured it may help your sadness to speak with them." He shrugged. "Then again, I may be wrong."

Abby shook her head. "I'm not really interested in talking with complete strangers. There's not much comfort to be gained from that."

"You seem innocent enough. I cannot let you follow." He hopped down ad slid down the rock face, his claws serving to keep him from accelerating out of control. "I have a tendency to corrupt youth." He shouted to her.

She jumped down and free-fell parallel to him, likely using the same method she used for flight to keep from going any faster. "I think you'll find I've already endured anything you could throw at me," she answered back.

"You've not seen what I'm capable of when riled." He scfed at the thought. "You have no idea of all the things I could throw at you." He punched the rock with his free hand, launching him over the ice safely to the shore. He gave a flicking gesture with his claws as if to say 'Well, I'm off.'He bolted off to the south, this time moving much faster than before since the chance of slipping was zero.

(Is it possible for her to follow?)

[follow if you want, he'll just keep trying to shake her off. While he may escape this time, I'd like Abby to find him again later. I have a use for them getting along.]

"Hmph, leave me behind?" the catgirl huffed. "I don't think so ..." She shot off after him, unimpeded by the bulk of her clothing due to her still airborne method of travel.

"Persistant aren't we?" He darted south into an old forrest full of gnarled up pine trees. The trees twisted areound, not leaving a clear path, but flight was an easy enough method to over come this, so he hopped into a lake. He swam to the bottom and buried himself in the muck to hide his smell and minute motions.

Abby followed by air as he anticipated and saw the splash when the man jumped in. Not too inclined to go swimming in freezing, massively sub-zero temperatures, she simply sat down on the bank, wrapped toastily warm in her coats, and waited patiently for him to come back up.

[he's not gonna come back up so long as she is there. He's still dead an doesn't need to breathe.]

(Then he's not gonna make a lot of progress, is he? ^_^ She doesn't need to eat or sleep unless she uses up a lot of energy and needs to replace it, so she can sit there indefinitely, as well.)

[fine]
Havvok, having noticed that she was still there, caused a stir under the water. Mud and murky water kicked up and concealed his movements as he dug through the sediment at the lake's bottom. He dug down, then south to get out from under the water and eventually he popped back up out of the forrest. He sprinted toward the nearby village in hopes of finding suitable over.

Still, the girl remained sitting there, plenty of time for their stalkers to catch up.
