*Karen*
At the mention of other humanoids, Melody turned to look, recognizing them. As if she were a captive, she took advantage of the moment of "distraction" to jump up, kick a rock at Karen, and jumped over the bench to run off through the park toward some of the heavier foliage.

Karen yelped as the rock hit her in the side of the head, looking over to just see Melody disappearing. "Wait! I'm not through with you, Morphaeus!"

*Further off*
"Wow, that woman must be batty ... I know Morphaeus is a shapeshifter, but Melody? Please ..."
"Yeah, they're too much alike!"
"We'd better stop yacking and get going. She's going after her!"
"Right!"
*Karen*
Before she could get very far, six teenagers ran between her and her quarry. "Hold it right there," one in a red jacket ordered. "I don't know what you're up to, but you guys aren't gonna pull it off!"

Karen frowned at the six teens. "Get outta my way." She said coldly. "This is between me, and that person that just ran off. Move, or be moved. Trust me, you want the first option. More benefits for you."

"I don't think so," the boy answered as they each brought their right wrists up, displaying strange bracelets. "You mess with our town, and you'd better be taking your own advice."

Both Epsilon and the cloaked man slowly walked up in front of Karen, gaurding her. The man pulled out an odd metal rod from his long sleeve, while Epsilon merely banged his fists together and gestured the six to attack. Karen shook her head. "No, I will handle them myself." She said, stepping in front of the pair. "Last chance. Back away now, or there will be consequences."

"We don't care if there's all three of ya," a big one looking to be of Native American descent answered. "This is your last chance. Back off!"
The one in blue, tall and lanky, looked over to notice that Crocigator was just standing there right beside him. He raised his head up to look at the water demon. "Uh ... hi, Crocigator ... Is there, uhm, something you should be doing?"

Karen sighed. "We're going to be at this all night..." She said, before deciding to strike, she held out her palm, focusing her energies to telekenetically choke the one that just spoke to her.

The big man clenched at his throat, but brought his wrist back up. "Black Dragon Earth Power!"
"Red Dragon Fire Power!"
"Blue Dragon Water Power!"
"Yellow Dragon Thunder Power!"
"Pink Dragon Wind Power!"
"I call on the Powers of Light! White Dragon Ice Power!"
In a moment, colors flashed up around them, surrounding them to solidify into suits, and some other force pushed Karen's psychic grip away.
"You want trouble," the white ranger said, "you're about to get it six times over!"

The Crocigator looked from one group to the other, confused. Morphy had run off, and both opposing teams had been rude to him multiple times.
He threw up heavily clawed hands, walking a short distance from the conflict. "Alls I care about is the cookies."

Both Epsilon and the man turned to Crocigator. "They aren't cookies!" They yelled in unison.
Karen chuckled at the rangers. "Aww, those are sooo cute! Did you make sure to bring little goody bags to collect your treats in?"

Without waiting to give a response, they each drew blasters that were holstered at their sides, and the Psychic found successive blasts from six Dragon Blasters shooting in at her as the group began to spread out.

All of the sucessive shots met a blast of lightning, fading away from existance upon contact. Karen looked back at the man. "I thought I told you not to intervene?" She yelled.
The man smiled. "That's the fun part of being your elder, I don't have to take orders from you."
Karen frowned, telekenetically attempting to lift the ranger farthest to the tright and send him flying into the next, hoping to utilize a domino effect. "Well, don't do it again!" She yelled.

The yellow ranger cried out as he found his feet leaving the ground, but the red one jumped across and caught him before he could crash into anyone. "Gotcha, bro!"
"Tornado Strike!" the pink ranger called out as an arm-mounted crossbow appeared on her wrist and a flurry of high-yield energy bolts fired out at Karen.

Karen dismissively waved a hand, the bolts halting and joining together. Eventually there was just one intensified sphere of energy at Karen's side. "Let me guess, you're the pathetically weak member intended for comic relief, right?"
