*As the 4 Shinobi moved down the road, they would notice a trail of blood. Ryu's scanning for traps would reveal none. The blood trail continued until the village gate was insight, at which point the blood just formed a big puddle. Lots of foot print were around the puddle of dried blood. Whoever the blood belonged to, could be still alive in the village or atleast someone saw them in the village. The village gate was not at all impressive, just a 8ft tall wall with a wide wooden gate with two lightly armored guards with spears on the outside of it. On the sides of the gate were tall hills that had the trees removed in hopes that people wouldn't just jump the gate. One of the guards suddenly noticed the 4 shinobi and pointed his spear towards them.*
Guard#1: "You there! What is your purpose for being here?"

"We come from the Leaf Village," Mei answered in greeting. "We come in peace to see His Lordship Huang Po."

Guard#1: "Huang Po?" Guard#2: "He doesn't live here." Guard#1: "...Oh wait. They must mean the lord Huang Pu." Guard#2: "Well we are expecting visitors from the Leaf Village. OPEN THE GATE!"
*It wasn't clear if the guards knew about the dead bodies or not. However it may seem a bit odd that the guards appeared to be rather relaxed and not at all on edge. The gates opened to reveal that the road past the gates was at a higher elevation than the village. As the 4 shinobi walked past the gate they could see most of the village. Hao Lo was a village that was big on trading goods, but wasn't at all pretty. Just about every building had white walls and blue-ish green like roof tiles. Each building was between 1 to 3 stories high, with most buildings being 1 or 2. Surrounding the village were large hills with lots of trees that seemed to hide some of the hills and would be the perfect place to get a view of the village. In the dead center of the village was the most impressive building, the palace, which had a Chinese look to it and was the tallest building in the village at 5 stories tall. The palace was rectangular and with a cross between a pagoda and a pyramid. After the first two stories, each story had its own roof and strange unique shape that got smaller with each story above. Unlike all the other building in the village, the palace had red roof tiles with black, red, white, and yellow colored walls. Aside from a grand entrance to the palace, the palace looked to have only a small garden ("Yard" for you uncivilized foke) on the inside of its grounds. Unlike what some of the Shinobi thought early, the village was very alive and looked as though the dead bodies on the way into the village didn't affect the village. Right away, the shinobi would start to feel as though they were being watched.*
*Hidden somewhere in or around the village, Goanna "The Rain" of the village hidden in the rocks looked on at the 3 Shinobi of the Leaf and one Shinobi of the Star village. She switched her radio on to broadcast.*
Goanna: "Hey Leon, the leaves have fallen with a star."
*There was a slight pause on the radio and then voice of Leon "Stone Lion" of the village hidden in the rocks spoke.*
Leon: "What?" Goanna: "Three leaves and a star have fallen into the village." Leon: "Goanna, I thought we agreed to no coded message." Goanna: "Oh bugger it all, 3 leaf ninja and one star ninja have entered the village." Leon: "Oh so the fun has begun. Wait, star?"

Ryu was obviously on edge regardless of how he tried to hide it. Nothing was going like he expected it to. Either the townspeople were oblivious or in on the murder of the previous ninja. "I don't like it. Not one bit."

Neither Nasu nor Shuiro had been particularly shocked by the dead bodies at the outskirts of the village; shinobi were used to that sort of thing. They were disturbed, however, by the fact that none of the villagers seemed bothered by the massacre so close to their homes.
"Something's definitely not right here," Shuiro mumbled, not raising her voice for fear that she would be punished for saying such things. "It's not like they couldn't know about the bodies."

"We should just keep our eyes open for now," Mei advised. "Speaking out right now would only make our jobs more difficult. For now, we should just play around and stay alert."

*A guard heard Shuiro mention bodies. The guard turned and faceds the 4 shinobi.*
Guard: "Bodies ey? Well we do know about the two corpes in the forest. His lordship has ordered us not to remove them until tonight and that no one work in the farms till the sun rises on the following day. Anyway, you didn't even see the other the corpse or the unlucky bastard who lived."

Mei turned toward the guard who spoke. "I don't mean to pry, but could you elaborate? And would it be possible to speak to the one that lived?"

Guard: "Well at the gate a little over a day ago we found this guy dragging a corpse. He collasped right before the guards. Right away would could tell the corpse he had was dead. The damn thing was white as a ghost and had so many cuts and holes in it that it had to had to have been bled dry. The unlucky bastard on the other hand, had two machetes sticking out of him. Amazingly, the hospital managed to save the poor bastard. However the machetes dissappeared, the guard who was in charge of putting them into evidence decided to get drunk on the way to delliver them. Anyway, the unlucky bastard now he has alot of explaining to do and the last I heard they started to question him today. If you want to visit him good luck, he was given 6 guards to protect him and no one from outside the government can see him."

(What's the name of the jutsu where a ninja takes the form of a weapon?)

(That would either be a substitution or a transformation, Nin. I don't believe there's a specific name for it.)

"I'm sure we could work with the governing peoples and get a visit with him, but for the time being we need to be somewhere." Ryu walked forward a ways scanning for a path to Huang Pu's house.

(Ninmast I think it was just a transformation jutsu but I'm not sure. If you really need to call it something just call it a shape shifting jutsu or transformation jutsu. That way I'll know what you mean at the least.)
*As Ryu walked forward he had a brain fart and remembered that Huang Pu was the current Feudal Lord of this village and would most likely be in the palace. Although the instruction given to the 4 ninja never said where Huang Pu was, it could have been impiled that it would be very clear once you got to the village, consider it was the biggest building in the village.*

But Mia's mind wasn't fully on Huang Pu. Indeed, the soldier's answer only seemed to worry the girl further. She turned to her allies as she lowered her voice. "What if they weren't real swords? What if it was a transformation jutsu to get themselves inside?"

Ryu loosed a ring-shiriken from his finger and let it drop to the ground. It pierced the dirt with ease and traveled to the feet of his teamates who were behind him. It popped up from time to time, making a message. "No! No discussion for the time being. If they have infiltrated, they could very well be the guards. We must talk about it in private." The shuriken bobbed over the message, effectively erasing it, and returned to his hand. It would be hard to read the message because of the speed it had been conveyed in, but the ninja would have no problem with it. "Well. I see the palace must be his house. Let's go." He made sure to mask any concern in his voice to trick the guards.
