" I am sorry. You come from the future, eh? I could figure that the world was coming close to its final hour. If there is any way I can help, please let me know. But for now, I must find Queen Glinda."

Olron and Zionix
"I wouldn't doubt it with the possible amount of mages in this place." Olron replied to the eavsedropping magic comment. " and Yes, we do have a message to deliver. Though only to the grat mages, weren't you listening back there?"

*Temple Square*
The children waved at Star then went into the temple, and the cloaked man led her into a small corridor beside the temple, barely visible. When they were out of sight of the street, the man turned to face her. "Visitors of other faiths never meet the Holy Priest. That's what everybody's saying anyway."
*Toriji*
"I know of your mission, and you should see it to the end." said the dark figure. "I recommend you hide behind the crates, and transform to your inhuman form after the first attack happens." he looked at a few crates piled clumsily at a corner. "The effects of the attack won't hit you there. Now, I have other business to deal with." he said, then phased out.
*Battleship*
"That's thoughtful, but this is a creature which can only be destroyed by specific means, which we have found in our ship's laboratories. Now, start the mess you came here to do, so we can start cleaning up."
*Tigerwolf*
"You're in the wrong place, ese." said one of the guards. "They're not even in this continent. What're you really doin' here?"
*Magic Capital City*
"I was listening, and I am who you seek." said the mage calmly as he continued walking.
*Battleship*
The dark figure appeared on the other side of the door and faced the prisoner. "Hello, dog." he whispered. The figure growled and lashed at him, hitting nothing but air. The dark figure stood behind him. "You're still as slow as ever, do you know that?" he released a stream of dark energy which made the prisoner feel like he's burning, then left. The prisoner ran at the door with enough momentum to rip it off. The door was ripped off its hinges and flew to the opposite wall, destroying it. The most dangerous Corrupted was loose in the Battleship.
*Elsewhere in the Battleship*
"Is it done?" asked Maya.
"It's done, Maya." said the dark figure as he changed into a more powerful version of the Strategist, then looked at his current day counterpart, who was unconscious on a lab table. "He'll wake up in a few minutes. He shouldn't know about me until I think he should." he touched a computer and absorbed all files regarding the destruction of Cecil, then deleted them after he went through them. "As usual, they're extremely off."
He phased out. Maya took the Strategist's hand and they phased off too, leaving the battleship to be destroyed.
*The Coast*
The five mages finished their incantations, and released powerful streams of magic energy toward the battleship. It hit the ship violently, pushing it slightly on its side. Everyone inside should feel the impact.

[toriji is already transformed.]
Toriji scanned his environment for the crates the figure spoke of. He located them and hid behind them, bracing himself for the "attack."

(Strategist, the mages were waiting for the battle to start. Now, they're suddenly attacking? What's wrong with this picture?)
*Temple Square - Alley*
"You do not know of my faith," Star reasoned. "I serve the One True God. Who do you serve?"
*Battleship*
Master Zero had given the Captain a threatening gaze, communicating that the Carbon was dangerously beginning to push his luck, but had begun walking again. He stopped once more, however, when the dark figure inside appeared. "Someone else is in there."
A moment later, the door burst off its hinges, but the Purifier jumped back toward the captain far faster than the door could fly, scooping him up and out of the way, keeping him from being hit by the door or the Corrupted within.
With that done, he set the captain back on his feet and turned to face Cecil. "Well, Captain, now, we get to see if you're correct. Go order your men to evacuate. I'll terminate this parameter breach, but I can't guarantee the stability of your vessel in the process."

Tigerwolf: "AH bloody hell! Well I don't sopose you know where the Global Forces artificial intelligence military base and research center is? You see there was this guy with this thing that he sent me and now I've lost the direction to his office so I can give him back this thing that he sent me or someone's ass is going to be in a sling."

My apologies for not replying to this sooner, but my creative juices seem to have been drained away for some reason. I thank you for your patience, and I will be updating this thread once I sort a few things out.

"The message is for all of you. " Zionix said calmly.

*Temple Square*
The man raised his hands to his hood and moved it off his head. "I serve the one true God, by delivering His teachings to the faithful."
*Above the Battleship*
The dark figure hovered, invisible, and watched as the Mages at the coast responded to his "attack" by retaliating at the battleship. He sheathed his blade and watched in silence.
*Battleship*
The ship's crew didn't have to be told twice. Either way, they would have one less threat to deal with if the two super humans confronted one another. They left immediately and prepared for evacuation when another wave of magical energy shook the ship, and the water surrounding it started to freeze.
Cecil turned to face Master Zero, his eyes revealing the rage he felt. He let out a primal roar and approached his foe. When he was close enough, he shot an arm at Master Zero's throat, intending to pin him against a wall long enough for him to feel his life ending.
*Toriji*
A missile fired from the battleship landed close to Toriji's location - only twenty feet away. It landed into a small house, which blew up. All around Toriji's location, Mages emerged and rushed at the coast, ready to fight.
*Tigerwolf*
"You're on the right way, sir. We're going to need some verification, though. It's standard protocol."
Next to Tigerwolf, in the cup holder, was some fake ID that was placed there during his transition through the portal to the surface.
*Stranded Space Command Unit*
A sniper had set his weapon's crosshairs on the head of the guard closest to Tigerwolf's position, ready to assist if anything started going wrong.
*Magic Capital City*
The Mage arrived in a large circular chamber. "We're here." he said, and twelve ragged men appeared on twelve thrones which faced the center of the room. The old mage shimmered and seemed to turn into a form of dust which then moved silently to the one vacant seat. He materialized and faced his guests. "Brothers, meet Olron and Zionix. They are messengers from above with a message from someone we all know."
"Brother Jared, can they be trusted?" asked the oldest Mage. "If they come from the Betrayer in the Sky, are they any better than he is?"
"We can judge their trustworthiness once we hear what news they bring." replied Jared. "Now, please. Share your message."
*Space Command*
The portal room had been sealed off from the rest of the ship, since it was now a vacuum. A dark shield appeared between them and the planet, preventing anyone from planetside to detect their survival or activity.
*The Strategist*
The Strategist sat up and winced at the pain in his head. "What happened?"
Maya told him everything, except about his future counterpart.
"Where are we?" he asked.
"We are at the inn behind the Grand Temple of the Chosen, Sir. I thought they wouldn't ask many questions if we kept a low profile, which is more than I would expect from the other factions."
He got up and looked out the window, taking in the scale of the Grand Temple. Behind him, Maya was revising her plan to introduce the Strategist to the ally that his future self suggested they seek.

Toriji immediately lurched up from his crouching position, his large sword in hand. He kept his telepathy Ninpo active and scanned them all for spells that they might be planning to use. He had a feeling they weren't after him, but remained on his guard until the feeling was confirmed.

(What attack was it that the dark figure launched?)
*Temple Square*
"If you are His messenger, I am His soldier," Star answered. "And if you are not, I am still."
*Battleship*
But the Edenite was faster than the Corrupted, and Master Zero turned to the side as Cecil's hand crushed into the wall behind him, his feet unaffected by the momentary shifting in the vessel from the attack from the mainland. Instead, the Purifier spun about and sent his foot in at the creature's middle. Regardless of the dark knight's own resilience, the force would still be great enough to lift his hulking form from the ground and send it flying backwards.

"Pffft, Fine. The "Betrayer in the Sky" has deemed your work unsatisfactory, therefore he has placed me and my lovely wife in charge of this facility. He says that umm, someone is gonna attack and that everyone else is being contacted and we are to unite against a great many foes. I believe that's it. Samico" He pointed to his wife when he said the strange world. She tecognized the spell instantly and knew its effect.
She smiled and approached Olron as if he had called her. She stood beside him smiling genuinely, or so it appearaed.
'You purposefuly added that didn't you?'
' I've memorized over a a thousand spells and you honestly believe I would forget a simple message?
She chuckeled soflty and shook her head slightly.

*Temple Square*
"My, you are disrespectful for a soldier of God. You come peacefully into our home, and you start questioning our beliefs. Are you sure you've come in peace, Star Peacefire?"
*Above the Battleship*
A magic attack zoomed past the Strategist, barely missing him. He saw the Mages rushing in, and disappeared.
*Battleship*
Cecil was pushed back through a wall, into the storage room where his brutal sword, almost as large as Master Zero himself, was stored. He picked it up easily and brutally thrust it through the wall, directly at Master Zero's last known location. He then swung it horizontally toward the hole he made entering the room.
*Toriji*
Everybody seemed to rush to the battle location, ignoring Toriji. A young girl approached him from behind, curious about his strange appearance.
*Magic Capital City*
The Mages looked at one another, and started speaking in an old tongue. After a brief discussion, then spoke to him again. "Your attitude aside, why would we believe you?"
Jared stepped in. "Brothers! Did you forget about our past battles, and who shifted the tides then?"
"Alas, he has since severed his loyalties with everybody, secluding himself far from every friend and foe he had."
*The Strategist*
The Strategist and Maya put on Chosen cloaks so as not to be easily recognized, and made their way to the street. The child known as Leon, who had met Star not to long ago, approached them. "Teacher sent me to bring you to him."
The Strategist looked at Maya, who wore her regularly calm expression. "And who is this teacher of yours?" he asked Leon.
"Father Kain." said Leon. "He told me to come here and guide the two strangers disguised as Chosen to him."
*Future Strategist*
The dark figure appeared in the middle of the desert, where night had fallen and nobody was present for two hundred miles in any direction. He whispered an incantation and put his hand on the sand, drawing a rune. Once he was done, the rune expanded and started giving a dark glow. He stepped back as a portal was created. He stuck his sword on the ground, and lit a small fire. He then sat down and waited for the first arrival.

*Temple Square*
"I've not questioned your beliefs yet," Star corrected him, "only your practices, for those are the only things I've seen. You, on the other hand, have openly questioned my beliefs twice since we met. No, I won't be questioning your beliefs until I know more about you are teaching your followers."
*Battleship*
But because of the distance the kick had sent Cecil, Master Zero was nowhere in range of either attack, still a bit back and easily walking forward. "How pathetic. No wonder a bunch of Carbons could capture a joke like you."

*Future Strategist*
No sooner had The Strategist sat than a black stallion made its way out of the newly-created portal, its steps nearly soundless and the air about it solemn. Atop it rode a woman, a multitude of velvet cloaks pulled about her and a hood over her head, the only notable feature he could see a large silver cross strung about her neck. She said and did nothing while she came clear of the portal, but when the stallion halted, much of its own accord rather than by an order or motion from her, she reached up to pull back the hood, revealing a pair of eyes the green of emeralds and a fair, gently smiling face framed by shining raven curls. At first glance she looked normal enough, perhaps an aristocrat by the caliber of the horse and the velvet cloaks, perhaps a religious woman by the cross necklace and earrings. However, The Strategist would probably notice within moments that there was something wrong with her, first by her eyes, which lacked any sort of fire or life, then by her smile, which seemed to be a permanent part of her features rather than an expression of happiness or friendliness.
For a long moment, she only looked at him, the fire flickering and the night around it dark. Then, offering him a small bow from the back of her horse, she said in a musical, passively cheerful voice, "I believe I was sent to aid you, yes?"
