OOC ~ Sorry for the late start, I got distracted by surgery and medication, that I forgot I needed to start this. Lol. So here it is.
Snow slowly drifted to the ground in the northern regions of Russia as a few young men drank around a large bonfire on November the 1st.
In the middle of their merriment, what looked like a corpse of a young man stumbled into the light of the fire - and the men were startled by the sight let up profanities before thee of them managed to point hand guns at the corpse despite all the alcohol in their systems.
"Who are you?!" The impromptu leader of the group yelled at the corpse, more than a bit freaked by the walking corpse.
The corpse turned to the man that yelled at him, the man easily 6 feet tall and the built and if the corpse were a human the man would have no problems handling the slender boy about 5'3 in height. Before the man could react to the corpse moving, all the other men were gone, and numerous loud slams and cracks rang out - all of them thrown through the trees far beyond sight.
And the corpse was just inches from the man and whispered, "Flesh of yours, to be a sigil that marks my return to the world. And let Christian handle my mess again. This time I won't die, again."
The guy was frozen for a moment before he started to run, what ever this thing was he wanted to get away from it. But he couldn't - the undead creature had him. And he placed his fingertips on the man's flesh and dug into the back of his torso with just his finger tips, making the man scream in pain as he did before he got to the heart and ripped a vein on it exposing the blood of the heart directly to his flesh.
The wound quickly killed the man before his head lifted up again, most of his intelligence gone, but the curse made him stronger and faster. With two desires, infect others and to kill Christian.
The new undead vanished heading quickly to a city in Italy where Veros was at the time.
And the original laughed as he went to infect others sending them all against Veros.
At the first sign of the creatures after waking in the morning to countless dead in the town, Veros swore aloud, cursing the air as he realized Damel was back and released and energy pulse that delivered a mental message to the more powerful beings on the planet requesting their aid.
Damel on the other hand, left a different message, calling out to the evil beings of great power to assist him in killing every super powered human on earth, including Christian.
~ Start your characters where ever they'd be when the messages are sent; which would be during the early day in Italy.

The message had hardly left before Star was in the room, leaning against the wall as if she had been standing there all along. "Catchy trick, Veros," she greeted. "When did you start ripping off Kali?"

Veros turned around to face the pink haired girl, his clothes looked worn, but fairly decent - a small rip on one of the legs of his jeans, and some washed out look to his dark colored t-shirt. Though today he had something Star had never seen before on him - the starting of a goatee. Also, his energy felt a little off - as if a faint trace of energy more foreign than his normal energy was in him.
He also looked distinctly older than before, while before he looked like a late teen or young adult - he looked late in his twenties.
"Star - it's been a while. Should of guessed you'd be the first to respond. Though the method of delivery; it was the first method to cross my mind."
He shifted his weight momentarily, "And considering who is back. And this time; the creations of his were much more powerful. So, I decided to get help. Since last time, I was barely eighteen - and he nearly killed me in the fight. Though his creations now... Are stronger than when I... Ended his second life." As he spoke he gestured to a human body, with it's head and chest crushed; by the looks of it pummeled by Veros.

Star, of course, was untouched by the ravages of time, still not looking a day over sixteen, and one might have thought she had a closet full of mundane white shirts and blue jeans, what with the rate she went through them. The only indicator that time had passed at all for her since the last encounter was the length of her hair, which went on down to her posterior. Other than this, she was an uncanny carbon copy of exactly what she was when Veros last saw her.
She turned to the window and pushed a drape aside with her hand to peer outside at the world beyond. "Meh, zombies," she intoned boredly as she watched them file through the city. "Not exactly the most exciting thing we've ever fought. At least they're not the stiff, shuffling kind. That'd just be boring. Decent speed ..." She frowned as one swatted aside a truck in his way like it were a kid's tricycle - and onto several other blithely ignorant kin. "... Decent power, but no brains. Also, no ranged capabilities or advanced techniques."
The girl turned away from the window with that classic grin and wink of hers and a thumbs-up. "Piece of cake, we can clear this city out by lunch time!"

Veros laughed lightly at Star's joke, "The city probably, but it won't stop Damel. If his creations are this strong; I'm reluctant to see where he stands now. Since his weak creations, are stronger than he used to be. Though we should wait a moment to see if anyone else should happen to arrive - not as fast as your response time."
"But first," Veros started talking as he threw an energy blast at one of the 'zombies', the blast knocking the zombie back as few feet, with its neck clearly broken by how its head was hanging back. "Should probably mention that just a simple decap doesn't work too well."
The zombie began flailing blindly on the ground where it landed, unable to see or hear, but still alive and trying to cause death and destruction. "Though it does make them just about worthless at fighting and only a terrain hazard until you can crush or destroy it's chest."

"Hmph," was the girl's only response as she stepped into the doorway and held out her hand. Instead of just a blast, a wave of energy overtook the zombie, who faded away in the flare of pink light - and did not reappear when it faded.
"Problem solved," she stated logically as she crossed her arms under her chest.

Veros laughed, "Yes, but with no fun to it. If you are going to kill an army of zombies, the least you can do is batter and bruise them till you cause enough damage that they fall over. Or stab them with a spoon till the same thing happens."
Veros pauses for a moment, "I can see that happening actually. And I want to do it. What about you? Up to playing a zombie with a spoon till them die from kitchen-utensil related trauma?"

Star let out a bark of a laugh. "Ha! No thanks, I'll pass. That'll take WAY past lunch, and I want Chinese."
The pink-haired girl moved toward the doorway. "In fact, I think I may as well get started. Cut back on the work load when everyone else arrives. Care to join me? I'm sure they'll be able to find us just fine."

Veros pauses for a moment, "True, just in case I'll leave a fragment here so they can find us."
Veros body flickered a little as his energy splint into two unequal parts. The one with the most power was the original Veros, while the fragment was just a small child with short blond hair on the verge of being considered white due to the lightness of the hair. The child's clothes were a spitting image of the older Veros' clothes but the little one quickly teleported a bright orange shirt onto himself, and a large metal spoon into his hand.
The child started talking, "Since you two are going to be out killing, I'd handle the ones that enter with a spoon so one of us gets to."
The older Veros turned back to Star, "Ready when you are to start killing." He wrapped his hand around the air as a sword appeared in his hand, his energy filling the normal blade hardening to withstand the rigors of combat.

Star nodded. "You take the west side of the city, I'll start on the east and we'll work our way to the middle." With that, she shot off into the air, heading toward her claimed side of the city. Moments afterward, explosions began to light the morning horizon, revealingly pink.

High in the mountains north of Italy a man traveled the rocky trails with ease, until a sudden 'nudge' sent him sliding for a brief moment. Upon righting himself, the staff wielding monk looked towards the direction the message originated from. He slid out across the loose ground, crouching into a horse stance before launching up into the air, flying to help.
He flew slowly over the clouds, taking about an hour to reach the city, setting down softly as explosions started to light the sky. He shifted his staff back into his hands and watched as a walking corpse was blasted away. Unsure he stood back, and busied himself with getting normal people out and away from the zombies.

Veros teleported to the far side of the city, his blade lashing at each zombie that got near him as he purposely allowed them to start flocking towards him and surround him. Once he had a small horde surrounding him, he threw up his skin tight force field as he let out a small explosion of fire - igniting all of them with a light blue fire that quickly jumped from one zombie to everything around it.
If Veros was actually worried about the destruction the raging zombies could cause in their basic inferno state would cause, he'd likely of used a less fiery method of killing the zombies.
*East Side* As Star flew around throwing energy waves at the zombies, it took only about four or so before the basic instinct of the zombies kicked in and they ran into buildings, to gain protection from Star's over head attack; when they had no chance of reaching her. Though their success was limited - only one survived the blasts that hit it - the expression on it's face was one of irritation, as it ran behind the cover of a building, much faster than the zombies she killed earlier.
*Oathkeeper* As he busied himself aiding the escapes of normal humans, and single zombie jumps from the roof of a nearby building landing in the middle of the people, quickly lashing out at the crowd, having landed on two.

*East Side*
Star spotted the survivor and scowled as he suddenly dashed around the corner. "Well, that's not normal ..." she observed the obvious before descending near the corner he had ran around. Her senses spread out over the area as she went in, as well.

*East Side* As her sense fanned out, her ability would be showing absolutely nothing was living in area except things with energy pools the size of gnats and house flies - leaving her to use her own senses instead of energy sensing to find and fight the zombie.
Though right as she made the corner, she noticed the building had a revolving door entrance that was still spinning from what ever just went through it.
Inside the main room, there was a lot of scattered broken items and blood along the walls - by the looks of it the five story building was attacked while a large number of people were inside. Judging from the item debris this place was a mall with no overhangs, but solid distinct floors with little real structural damage save the damage to a far wall from the explosions.
The far wall from her had stairs, while the side wall had elevators and escalators up. Though the damage Star had done with her bombing destroyed the power to the place.

Star strolled on inside and looked around, letting out a low whistle. "Wonder who did more damage ..." she mused. She formed a ball of energy in her hand and threw it up into the air, where it hovered and illuminated the area in its pink glow.
"Come out, come out, little brain-dead freak," she called in a singsong manner. "Come out, come out, wherever you are!" Red lightning flashed down her right arm and coalesced into the King's Blade in her grip. "I promise I'll make it quick ..."
