(^_^ Yeah, sorry. But it works!)
*Command Center*
"The answer is the same to both questions," the Shadow Ranger told the general. "I am here to fight, not to sit around and wait. I told the information desk that it didn't matter if the mission was just scouting, I had to be doing something, and they told me to come speak with Carrie about receiving a mission."

Ashal eyes narrowed on him. “I doubt you were told to report here to obtain a mission directly from Carrie. All commanders know better than to give that order and all other personal cannot give you orders. All soldiers know this. “
She began to pace back to the middle of the floor thinking. When she turned back, there was a smile on her face.
“Since no order was given for you to come here,” She continued, “you’ve officially denied orders from a senior officer, trespassed on official property, tried to assault your commanding officers, and as a result committed the heinous crime of treason by attacking Mala and the other commanders.” She gestured to Mala who only nodded his head in agreement, a smile now present on his face as well. “With such crimes against this governing body, it seems you now stand before me to be trialed as a spy of Remer’s.”
She crossed her arms over her chest and her smile had become a grin somewhere in recital of his crimes. Her voice turned cold as ice, her eyes glared with satisfaction. “For your crimes against Carrie, the goddess, how do you plead?”
(I love Ashal’s logic xD.)

*Training Area*
(It’s okay, I understand.)
“You and me both. As I said though, some of these other punks wouldn’t be a match. If it is true we might just have an easy ticket to the special division and then straight up to being a knight of the goddess. Then there would be nothing we couldn’t do. I even hear they get some kind of special sword or another accessory. I’ve never seen one though, have you?”

*Kevin and Sarem’s Table*
Sarem shook her head slightly, but Kevin answered, “Sorry, can’t say we have. There should be a scholar of rumors, legends, and folklore around somewhere. I think they call them theorists but I couldn’t tell you who he or she was. Sarem and I do not usually deal with them or that type of information. “

"That be all then, thanks for the assistance." John turned on his heel and began walking away, his hand flicking up in a half wave, as his next word slipped out of his mouth in Italian, "Ciao."
(I assume you guys can understand Ciao, if not - it is an informal greeting/salutation meaning hello or goodbye.)
As he walked away, he stared towards his next destination - the Training Area, to see if he can catch some usage of magic to pick up a little more about what the Qualons can do with magic.

A frown was now the only expression on her face. "Listen, boy. I don’t know who you think you’re trying to intimidate but I’ve seen worse than you. You’re lucky this is a good day and I’m a good mood, so, I’ll put this in simple terms. Go see Carrie, also known as the commander, and goddess. On that map is the commander's area, printed in big, bold letters usually reserved for the sight impaired. If you still need help looking for where she is, I got a two year old that can hold your hand and lead you there." She put her fists on her hips and planted her feet, her frown now a scowl. (Fun fact: two years in Qualon time is four on Earth. |:B ) (Just thought I'd quote the post where he was told to see Carrie.) "Your first mistake was mistaking me for a soldier," the morphed ranger answered, crossing his arms as well. "I'm not a soldier. I'm a warrior. There's a difference. Warriors live to fight, soldiers live to take orders. If I'm not fighting, then I'm not doing my job. Your second mistake was thinking my allegience with your army was anything but a matter of convenience. I agreed to fight on your side because that's where I thought I would see the most blood on my blades. Your third was assuming I did not come here on orders. I was, indeed, instructed to see Carrie for a mission. Whether you believe that or not does not change that fact. And finally, in answer to your question, I am guilty of a lot of things, none of which I would apologize for, but spying is not one of them. You'll find I don't have the patience for that."

"Once again, I'm not from here. I've probably never seen some of the stuff you find normal, much less something you've never seen. But that is of no consequence." He kicked down the dummy and turned to the man. "When's this thing supposed to be? If you've heard so many rumors one of them has to have a date and time attached to it."

*Kevin and Sarem’s Table*
“Goodbye” Kevin said as he left. Sarem only tended to the child, Abel. The child let out a giggle.
---
Sarah saw John leaving. “Did you find what you need?” She called out to him.
*Training Area*
“Ah, yeah, nighttime.” He said looking to the sky. It was quickly dimming and there seemed to be only one to three hours left. The first moo was already rising. When it finished its trail across the sky night would set in and the second moon would rise soon after.
“Shouldn’t be that long now. Hey ya wanna go get something to eat? I’ll introduce you to Carl and the other Alex. It’ll be good for you to know the only other good members of the section. Plus they have pretty much everything you could want to eat.” He asked cheerfully.
*Command Center*
(Oh I know he was told to go there, xD. Ashal just thought you would be useful in some way.)
Ashal snorted. “Your first mistake, soldier, was breaking our laws. We do not take too kindly to that. Your second was assuming that my beliefs would not dictate what matters to you. Here I am the judge, second only to Carrie herself.” She gestured backwards to her sister who stood silently watching. “And in light of the word of a commander against you, I find you guilty of all claims against you. You shall be imprisoned until we see fit to let you go or do away with you.”
She stopped and thought for a second, tapping a finger against her upturned chin. "Unless ... you want to fight to obtain back your freedom..."

Cylox cracked his neck and knuckles. "Normally I'd say no, but seeing as how I'm not from here a little conversation could be enlightening." He straightened his clothes about him and dusted what was left of the dummies off of his pants. "Lead the way."

John turned around as Sarah called out when he was on his way out, "I believe I have found what I can from here, and now I am headed to the Training Area to squeeze in a little, practice." While he said practice, he really meant observation - not that they'd know. To give the impression he actually did intend to practice, a faint haze surrounded his hand very similar to what you see surrounding very cold objects in a warm room, and a ball of ice crystallized into existence above his hand.
It was a simple spell in his opinion, since the cold aura was being radiated from the ball of ice he conjured. Not the most efficient substance for him to make, but far easier than fire in his own opinion.

"You are a moron," he stated bluntly. "You neither have the authority nor the power to hold me, and of course I would choose to fight. I came here wanting to be given a fight. And then you actually have to question whether or not I would be willing to fight? Why is someone with as little brains as you a general?"

“Ah, glad we could help you.” Sarah said with a smile, and after a moment returned to scribbling down something. Another soldier approached and she began to assist him.
*Training area*
“Well all right then.” He turned to look over to Bob who was busy in conversation with a group of visably younger mages, seemingly teaching them something. “Bob!” Alex shouted. Bob looked up and Alex conveyed they were going to meet with the others, to which Bob nodded and continued about his business.
“I tell you” Alex said, leading the way to the food. “Bob knows how to blow things up. When I first met him a year back, he was just an apprentice. He could barely make a timed explosive fireball without almost killing himself. He wants to be Carrie’s Archmage. Big dreams, eh?”
*Command Center*
“Oh,” Ashal started smoothly, walking up to Jeff. “I have more than enough power to hold you here and more than enough authority to have you killed. You seem to forget that I have control over this whole base of operations plus two more stationed in other locations. As for asking if you wanted to fight, I needed your consent. Now I can do whatever I want with you, mister prisoner.” She emphasized this with a poke of one finger to his chest. The amount of force would only be that of Jeff’s body weight. (idk how much he weighs but maybe, 150-160 lbs?)

"Still forgetting the whole NOT FROM HERE thing, huh?" He basically screamed at him out of frustration. Growling as he looked Bob over. "Where I'm from, our mages are much more veratile, and seemingly more powerful. Hell I bet I'm just as good of a spellcaster as just about anyone here." He grumbled loudly as he memory cast him back to pissing Toriji off, which was what had landed him in this other dimension.

Armored as he was, the sudden force harmed him not at all. Behind his black visor, he narrowed his eyes in annoyance as he reached up and grabbed her wrist. "Do not make the mistake of annoying me. There are no walls between you and me as there were protecting the commander from my anger."

John turned and took the last few steps out of the information area and continued on his way, the ball of frost dissipating instantly - teleported away to be exact. The location was inconsquencal for the most since it was just over ten miles straight up in the air - where it would be melt and evaporate as it fell.
And he quickly began his path towards the Training Area to watch for any magic usage, along with working a touch on elemental magic, and combinations of elemental attacks. Since he had a feeling he was going to have to work with just elemental magic for the most part. Or make it seem that way.

There was a rasp of a swords being drawn further away. Then Carrie suddenly appeared, there was no sound at all, she was just there. She held a sword positioned at Jeff’s throat, and the other inches from his hand. The blades radiated heat and sparks appeared now and then.
“You are not permitted to touch my General, soldier.” She said in an even tone. “You have three seconds to release her.”
And not missing a beat she began to count aloud. “1…”
Ashal’s grin never left her face.
*Proceeding to the Food Court*
“Really? I thought even the Southerners knew about the knights. Anyhow, Bob’s just fooling around with the others. You haven’t seen anything yet. Oh-ho. I bet he can explode a volcano now and not even break a sweat. “Alex exaggerated.
*Training Area*
“And that kiddies is how you blow things up with ice. Pretty nifty huh?” Another dummy lay in iced block pieces. The other mages nodded their heads and started to ask Bob a billion and two questions to which he smiled and began answering. An orb of soft light floated in mid air above the training area. No one paid it any attention and if you happened to look up, you only saw the sky. . .

*Training Area* By the time John got to the training area, he saw magi asking a single mage countless questions, and the fragments of a dummy covered in ice. Shattering ice covered dummies? John grinned as he walked towards one of the dummies, and held out a hand and snapped his fingers together sending his magic into his fresh dummy covering it in ice.
Then he pulled his hand back and it was like a string was attached to the dummy almost, the ice shattered and the fragments rushed in John's direction - chunks of the dummy coming with the ice, but none of them would make it as far as he himself was.
