Chris' turned his head to face the demon, this clergy man in appearance, "It's just a little teleportation sickness - hardly enough to make me fragile."
Chris shifted his weight a bit, regaining more of his mental composure from the fog left by the teleporting, and to all there the balance wouldn't pan out - he had his weight clearly on a leg that was just above the ground and leaning to the side with weight on his arm. Though, nothing was supporting it - he was just partly showing off and partly not wanting to stand up.

*Castle*
"Please Dantalion. Don't be so quick to judge the other guests. I assure you that they are more than capable of defending themselves." Toriji looked down at his wrist as if he was wearing a watch before casting a glare upward to the ceiling. "If our final guest doesn't make up his mind soon, we'll be continuing without him."

"My apologies," he did a quick bow, "The Order instills ill habits."

*Obadiah*
Rolling his eyes, Brilshaden made sure to grab his oh-so-trusty zweihander before gripping the visitor's hand, careful to take a deep breath before doing so. Teleportation hadn't always agreed with the man's stomach.

Brilshaden would be shocked upon grabbing the clone's hand, literally. The jolt moved slow at first, but he couldn't move. As it shot up his arm he could feel his consciousness fading. Once it reached his head, and popping could be heard and when his was capable of oppenning his eyes, he would find himself in the castle.
[My appologies, but I need to apply a little thought to my next post. I'll be back soon though.]

Stumbling some out of disorientation, the mercenary had to spend a few moments ensuring that his lunch stayed firmly in his stomach before looking around.
Castle, and of the decidedly imposing variety. Looks like this one's loaded. This ought to be profitable, though I'll probably end up doing a lot of fighting. Hate dealing with armies. (Understood.)
Barely enough time had passed for Obadiah to finish thinking than he turned around, and, having not prepared another thought, loudly blurted out.
"The princeling never mentioned anything about others. I better not have to split the reward he offered me."

Gunter eyed this newest, and hopefully last arrival as he was tired of waiting, with minor interest. At the least, this person looked saner than that other one who he'd rather not think about. "Hopefully the last of this random party? As for the reward, you've already decided on something without even knowing what there is to take?"

"I have no need for any reward," Camille informed the bounty hunter calmly and politely. "I am helping because it is asked of me. Your reasons are clearly more material, but you have expenses that I do not, and even if I did, I fear the currency, even the precious metals backing it, have little meaning where I go."

The demon scoffed, but it was of course of the barely telling variety, "Being here is a high enough honor for me. A reward such as this rarely presents itself so readily..."
Such a long wait for a human weak to his own money-lust... I suppose fodder is necessary...

Toriji took a quick glance about and the clones all disappeared in a distorted cloud of black smoke. "Good we all have finally arrived." He took his place in front of all of them. "The clones should have given all of you a rough overview of the situation, but they were separate of my consciousness for this project so I'll be telling you the whole story." Above the Prince a glassy surface floated in the air. It showed imagery to supplement his story.
"We are all here to fight a war, my honored guests. This war will be in the interest of defending my father and keeping the kingdom under a sane leader. He will not be participating because of a celestial phenomenon that will render him weakened in about one Earth month. The details of this phenomenon are unimportant to anyone not a bone demon, so I'll continue. Our enemy is a deranged elemental by the name of Varaj, and beware for he is composed completely of electrical energy. He has attacked before, but we have information that his armies are much stronger this time and he has fortified himself by consuming other elementals of his ilk. This is why I've enlisted you all, as a precaution. At any point if you feel you don't want to or aren't capable of handling this, let me know. I'll be happy to send you from harm without any ill thoughts. I wouldn't want my guests to come to harm under my watch." He whipped his arms out in front of him and clapped his hands together with a smile that could be seen under his mask. "So with the serious part out of the way; Any questions?"

"Hah, well thats very interesting a way to put it. You just recruited us for a war, but do not wish for us to get hurt wilst fighting this war. Alright, either we're being overestimated, or you're underestimating this army of theirs." He crossed his arms and put on an annoyed look, although his tone was humorous, not matching his expression. "Though I suppose it's possible that you are perfectly estimating the enemies strength exactly and thus figure very little in the way of casualties. All of these assumptions would really be more useful now if you would follow to supply your own information on this...Varaj's army." He waited a moment for Toriji to respond, but spoke up once more before so. "Also, this Varaj. Completely made up of electricity? So is it possible to assume immunity to pshyical occurances as it lacks a solid form?"

Walter turned his head towards the man/demon that had given the long speech. His mirrored fishbowl helmet kept his face invisible but behind it he was smiling. This might not have been the justice league he had hoped to see upon coming through the teleportation but it seemed there was a villain here who needed fighting and The Comic was not one to turn away from a fight against a villain.
He cracked his fingers through the vaguely batman-esque gloves he wore on his hands and then spoke himself. "Why are we waiting a month before taking down this fiendish villain you describe?" Walter was a firm believer in not wasting time. "A fast commando type raid by several of us heros should settle him fairly quickly."

After the presentation finished, Obadiah gave the other peoples gathered a good and proper examination, his eyes settling on the last speaker, a gaunt, pale sort with the sort of gaudy clothes the warrior expected to see on court jesters and gypsies. When the jester-man spoke up, Brilshaden frowned and narrowed his eyes slightly before speaking.
"While I have no idea precisely what a 'commando' is, I feel I have been in enough of these situations to tell you that the stronghold is never to be charged or raided, especially if demons are involved. They just kill or eat most of the people involved, and then taunt you for a while."

He chuckled at the response, perhaps he was too hasty with impressions, "The newcomer presents a valid point you all would do well to observe."
He shifted his book from one arm to the other, "Your Highness, what scouts or informants do you have at your disposal? Are they active or has extraction been hindered? And are you absolutely sure about the energy of this threatening force? Simple electricity seems far too trivial to be a threat, what is his trick? And is there any possibility I can review the records of the last battle?"

Toriji cracked his knuckles and his smile widened. "Good, very good. I like to answer questions, as I am not very good at answering them preemptively. I'll start with you, Dantalion. We have scouts about and searching for information as we speak. They are scheduled to return near the beginning of the month. Hah. you underestimate him already. The electricity around him is completely his to control, in other words he is a master of his art and his art is deadly. For any information on the past fights you would do well to talk to my father. That way I can fill in the others while you collect your own information, as was part of our agreement." He then turned to the others. "Now... Ah the reason we won't be raiding Varaj's castle is because he is a known rover. So he has no fortress to raid. Also you with nervous systems wouldn't do well with that since you are the most vulnerable to his powers. But I've accounted for that in my rough battle plan. Also, you will need time to aclimate yourselves to this environment and to build a closely knit team. Otherwise you would all be in undue danger. Any more?" He cast a look about with his eyebrows raised.
