"Somebody must have trust issues..." A familiar voice murmured to Star. Without explanation or previous indication to her presence, Cassandra stood behind Carlos, calmly drinking a cup of tea before setting it on a saucer. She was wearing a soft blue dress that was very easy on the eyes, but a full set of green, crystaline-like armour was jutting out of a sack over her shoulder. The woman smiled kindly. "Star, we missed you for our scheduled double date. Did that vampire fiance of yours have to attend to other matters? I was looking forawrd to meeting him..."

*Star's Briefing Room*
Carlos turned around to face Cassandra and Carlos, "How did you get in here? You should be in other rooms, learning your missions."
*Portal Room*
A second after Master Zero had drawn his blade, all armed personnel had their weapons equipped and aimed at him. While Master Zero got distracted, the Strategist raised his arms in a gesture for everyone to lower their weapons. He turned to look at Master Zero. "If they had no faith in me at all, they would have brushed me aside and carried on with their initial plans. The fact remains that I had a long talk with your superiors, and that they agreed to let me carry out my plan. Now, put away your sword. What would the Mother Units say when they learn you failed to keep an eye out and decided to attack just because I aggravated you with a few words?" he frowned, as if he had tasted something unsavory, "Use your head, Eden. We are on a mission and we are stuck together until we can finish and go home, or until you decide to kill everybody in this ship and end up having to answer to the Mother Units on why you failed to allow me to carry on my plans."

*Star's Briefing Room*
Star just chuckled at Carlos' confusion. "Carlos, was it? Get used to it. Frois have a knack for showing up everywhere but where you'd like them to be." She motioned to the woman. "Meet Cassandra Degren-Frois. And sorry about that date," she apologized, turning back to Cassandra. "That was actually my bad. We were nearly ready to go out the door when some uppity necromancer decided a 300-year-old war memorial cemetary would be a good nighttime outing."
*Portal Room*
Master Zero didn't seem bothered at all by all of the armed personnel, and indeed, he paid them no mind. He whipped back around to the Strategist and something seemed to flash around him for just a moment. Anyone with energy sense that was in range would have felt a tremendous dark power for only a fraction of a fraction of a second and then it was gone and the Purifier had the human hauled up off the ground. "Let me tell you something about my orders, Carbon. The first part of my orders are to terminate you when you fail. When you fail. Remember that when you start getting too big a head."
Apparently having recovered his temper after that, he let the Carbon drop and the Zeta Saber deactivated as he returned it to its sheath as he turned away from him.
(OOC: I'm sorry if it may seem that I'm getting upset a lot, Strategist, but I'm really not. While you may be ticking my characters off right and left, I haven't had this much fun in ages. It's good to have somebody new around.)

Toriji stretched yet again. It was a habbit that he had picked up in his human travels and did nothing to ease the discomfort of his transformation. "Well, what do I need to do?" His voice boomed through the air like a vicious assault on the human in front of him. "I am sorry." He quieted down for the man's sake. "I can only assume "The Strategist" would have a specific plan for me."

*Star's Briefing Room*
Carlos was not amused. "They need to be elsewhere, for their mission briefing."
*Toriji's Briefing Room*
The Carlos clone showed little reaction to Toriji's booming voice, "You need not worry. And yes, the Strategist does have a plan for you. You are to claim to be a traveler caught in a crossfire of technology and magic, which caused your form to twist into that which you show now. Once in the ranks of the Corrupted, you need to earn their trust and move closer to the Queen."
*Portal Room*
"If I fail, then you may have the pleasure. My plan cannot fail unless you fail to contribute." the Strategist said with a smile. "Remember that, before you start thinking you are the one in charge of this operation."

"The deal was that you try to settle it on your own, Carbon," Master Zero reminded him. "My aid is at my discretion, not at your command."
(I'm trying to buy time for GB to enter with Karen. We had an idea for her entrance.)

Toriji's beak creacked into a smile. "A Queen you say? Maybe this won't be so bad after all." He brought beautiful images to mind. "Well, what're we waiting for?"

*Cassandra*
The battlemage gave a low whistle and a whince. "Sounds awfully cutthroat... That's really too bad. Next time, I guess." The woman then smiled and took a sip of tea. "And I go where I please. You'll have to forgive me, it's a rather nasty habit I picked up from my husband. If you really want me to leave, I suppose I could take my services as an experienced and exemplary templar and mage elsewhere, but it's so hard to find employment with my abilities. After all, who can't summon a giant meteor shower to crush an enemy?"
*And...*
Whatever the Strategist's response might have been, it was interrupted by a fangirlish squeal as a woman came flying out of the portal in an attempt to glomp the black-armored swordsman. Karen grinned with glee as she rubbed her cheek against his metallic hull. "Yes! Another chance to cross-examine and reverse-engineer combat robotics excellence! And no teary-eyed Epsy to distract me!"

The Purifier scowled in disapproval as he reached down to pull the scientist up by the scruff of her lab coat and bring her up to eye level, only to be met with nothing but googly heart eyes, no doubt sugarplum equations of potential force dancing in her head.

*Star's Briefing Room*
Carlos remained silent for a moment, then sighed, "Very well. I am done with briefing Star on her mission. I think I can pull up your missions and brief you right now. Cassandra Degren-Frois, is it? Excuse me for a moment." he turned and started working on the panel.
*Toriji's Briefing Room*
The Carlos clone showed no sign of amusement, "Yes. Queen Glinda. She was once a member of... another faction, and her transformation saw her being better off in all aspects. A rare phenomenon among those who are transformed."
*Portal Room*
The Strategist turned to Maya, who stepped forward and seized Karen's hand, her grip surprisingly firm, "Come, now. Let us not disturb those two as they plan their strategies." she shot a glance at Master Zero then looked back at Karen. "Come on now, you need to know your mission."

Toriji rubbed his bony claws together. "What shall i do when close enough to the Queen?" He brought more images to mind, many unsavory to most people.

*Star's Briefing Room*
"I told you, you are to get close to the Chosen Ones. As a member of a similar, if not the same, creed I am sure you can communicate the urgency of their having to start a coalition to stand against the Global Forces." said Carlos.
*Toriji's Briefing Room*
"You should encourage them to search for allies to stand against the Global Forces." said the Carlos clone, "Be wary, though. Not everyone who serves the queen is willing to team up with others to fight a common enemy." he pulled up a picture of a giant man in armor, then looked at Toriji. "The brute of a bodyguard, Cecil, is always near Queen Glinda, and he is not a fan of strangers. He is also mute, so he will give no warning when you cross your boundaries. He will simply strike."

(I guess meh post got deleted or something O.o)
The attack collided with an invisible barrier that protected the two and was nulled. Zionix and Olron however didn't notice it and continued about their actions. They continued to laugh at the two bickering beings but eventually grew tired of waiting.
"Can we get this moving, we're pretty busy people." Zionix said after a few last moments of considering what the gate was made of.

(You can't simply nullify and ignore an attack, AoD. That's powergaming and is a violation of the rules. That's why your post was deleted. Not to mention, continuing the behavior after receiving such a response would only incur greater wrath and by deciding that you did it throughout and got tired of waiting denies others a chance to reply, not that it had taken that long, anyway. It's been a handful of moments, not hours. Please revise your post in its entirety.)
(Strategist, Star had asked before Cassandra came in for the location she should go to in order to find them, not what she was supposed to do. Carlos never gave her that information. That's what she was requesting.)
