Results were what one could expect from hurling a vagrant headfirst at a wall. She hit it without much positive result.
Mechio hissed and voiced accusations of madness and treason whilst the fountain watcher gasped in abject horror his master's act of violence. The Disir giggled from whatever safe void she retreated to whenever she wasn't using her body language to goad Rensik.

Rensik ignored the swearing and gasps and staring and simply addressed the similarly (physically) unaffected redheaded child. "Your theory did not work."

True sat on the icy earth, smoothing her ratted hair. "It was the wrong guiding force," she explained, "If it had been yours or Ego's say, the gates would have opened."

The whining and general inaction didn't evoke much sympathy from the gates, but distant clanking and rumbling footsteps were indeed approaching them.
Looking anywhere but the gate would reveal that a slew of SaderGuards were gathering towards them, their various weapons ready to 'cease' the disturbance, and in the less well-loved models, rickety parts that barely held the proper skeleton with each step, but doubtlessly, they were in locations that wouldn't hinder their overall purpose: To restore the peace.

Rensik turned toward the incoming guards and moved to place himself between them and the group, his hand resting on but not drawing his blade. If he had to use it, it would be a little late to worry about what the attacking guards would think of the seal going off.
"Mechio, see what you can do to get the gate working," he ordered quickly. "Maybe a sensor's unplugged or something. If not, start coming up with a way to go over it."
